Steve understood her perspective so he agreed with her, "Sure, take your time but I would appreciate if you can give me an answer before I leave"
"Sure, when are you leaving?" Erica's heart ached with the thought of Steve going away.
"This Sunday, as I took up this small case, I'll finish it off soon and will leave"
Erica nodded her head, "Cool then, before you leave I'll give you my decision" She promised him.
Steve was very happy as he was scared she would straight away reject him as Erica was upset with him for two days.
Now that he was attacked by Ethan, she probably let go of her anger.
So, her considering his offer itself was a huge achievement for him and he was quite happy about it.
Steve went back to his hotel suite, although the suite was now clear of all the bugs and the hotel apologized to him for their negligence, he still shifted to another room as he didn't feel comfortable being in his old suite.
