Lightning fast

Practically everyone clenched their teeth in anger. They recognized Sigma's skill only to get pissed at his taunt. He didn't only have skills, and he also had steel nerves to endure the pain of having his fist crushed… Everyone knew that Art was one of the strongest in the group, and yet, he was defeated in less than a minute.

"You have skill, but you don't have that much power," Lucy said while furrowing her eyebrows. "Your movements aren't fluid like the ones of an experienced martial artist… why would that old man send you?"

"I told you, he didn't send me, and I am not his disciple or anything," Sigma said while shrugging. "Regardless, like I said, I have things to do, so hurry up."

"... All right, if you defeat the next guy, I will face you," Lucy declared while smirking again. "Tristan… why don't you play with him at his own game?"

A boy who seemed younger than Sigma and taller than Lucy stepped forward. He didn't say anything and just silently approached. He also didn't look particularly tough, but Sigma saw his status, and he was also at level seventy, and his speed and Dexterity were even higher than Sigma's. Tristan had short brown hair and a pale complexion, and some tired-looking eyes… the weather was probably getting the better of him after so many years there.

Sigma furrowed his eyebrows a bit and then used Powerful Strike on his left hand since it would be bothersome to wound his right fist even further before he could get fully healed and could face Lucy.

All of a sudden, the boy disappeared, and then Sigma felt danger coming from behind. He immediately jumped while kicking the area behind him, only to see Tristan lowering his stance and then preparing to hit him from below. Still, Sigma swung downward his left fist to hit him. Tristan kept going until the last moment since he knew that he would hit first, but then he jumped backward once he realized that Sigma wouldn't stop and his punch would cause a lot more damage.

For a moment, Sigma furrowed his eyebrows. The kid sure had good instincts… Tristan moved away and then kept staring at him. Regardless, Sigma already knew that despite being fast, Tristan's highest level skill was Wind Armor, so he could become fast enough to look like he had disappeared.

Putting that aside, Sigma had to finish the fight faster because way too much energy was being gathered on his fist, and he was going to mess up that one as well at that rate.

While the enemy was studying him, Sigma just dashed at the kid and then prepared to punch him. Still, he escaped to the side while using Wind Armor. However, Sigma saw his body turning to the left side, and he punched the ground in that direction. A blast of snow and a window was pushed to the side, and Tristan was hit by it… he was skilled, but it seemed that he was really afraid of getting hit, so he always moved around in a wide arc… Sigma noticed that when he saw some traces of footsteps around.

Tristan tried to get up as soon as possible after he was knocked down, but Sigma stepped on one of his arms and then stopped him. In the next moment, he grabbed the kid's clavicle and almost smashed it since the kid didn't surrender.

"That is enough," Lucy declared, and then Sigma let the kid go. "I guess when you want something done, you need to do it yourself."

Sigma healed his fist since he damaged it a bit when he hit the ground. Both of them will only heal completely in half an hour, so he will have a bit of a hard time facing someone who is almost two times stronger than him.

"What is your name?" Lucy asked.

"Sigma," Sigma replied while thinking that getting some time to recover his Stamina wouldn't be so bad. Still, he frowned a little since Lucy kept studying him.

"Grab your bow. I want to fight you with all your might," Lucy said.

"That won't be necessary. I know that you and your lackeys are the types to listen to reason unless you are put in your place, so I will play by following your rules," Sigma explained.

"I will say only one more time. Grab your bow," Lucy declared.

Sigma just ignored that and just assumed his fighting stance, guarding half of his head and the upper body of his torso with both of his arms and spreading his legs a bit.

In the next moment, Sigma felt a powerful impact coming from his right side, and then he has pushed away in the snow. He didn't even have time to realize that Lucy had disappeared… in an almost instantaneous attack, she moved and attacked him, making him lose one-third of his health.

Lucy could have followed the attack in many ways, but she just waited for Sigma to grab his bow, and he didn't, though. Lucy decided to respect him a little, but she was starting to feel disrespected… it was insane that a novice like that would try to fight her barehanded.

While Lucy was busy trying to keep her head cool, Sigma was wondering how he could win against her. Truth be told, he had no idea since he was weaker than her in all aspects. The only way he could imagine winning was if she dropped her guard, but it was unlikely that she would do that, and she was too experienced to make such a mistake.
