Rose Village, as it's called, looks like a typical village where houses are far apart from each other with farmland at the back.
The population can be said to be very small and there are almost no young people. Most have gone to big cities far from the village.
The nearest town is Vechta, which is just a small town with less than a hundred thousand residents.
David's mother had a pickup truck that was so old, a product of the 1990s that the windows didn't even have glass anymore.
David threw the sack he was carrying into the bed of the car before climbing into the driver's seat.
He was 17 years old now. Although he didn't have a driver's license, his driving skills were good.
Even Isabella without hesitation climbed into the passenger seat, sitting with her back against the window without fastening her seatbelt.
Fortunately the car had no engine problems. The engine started instantly when David stepped on the clutch pedal and turned the key up.
After that, the car moved slowly, heading towards the village road which was indeed very quiet.
The few people who saw them leave were silent without saying hello.
It may only be a village, but the people have a strong liberal streak. They would not mind other people's business.
Arriving outside the village, it was finally quite crowded with cars passing by, from ordinary cars to large trucks.
Vechta was visible from the road even though it was almost 10 kilometers away.
David stepped on the gas pedal all the way, heading towards the town quickly.
An interesting thing happened while they were on their way.
A large object came down from the sky, a spaceship.
Because it was too big, it was visible from afar.
Isabella even had to stick her head out of the window just to see it.
"It's to Paris," she said.
Even though her head was outside the car, David could hear her words clearly, a result of his improved hearing after his increased strength.
Of course, David also made observations. He narrowed his eyes, wondering which civilization they were from since the earth was currently interacting with more than five space civilizations.
Each of them offered the earth to join them.
However, since the earth had no single ruler, so a decision could not be made yet.
They also can't force the earth because the big countries have reliable nukes to stop their excessive actions.
They could attack their spaceships coming to earth.
The spaceship came down quickly so it didn't cause too much commotion.
Isabella put her head into the car again, and after that, she played with her cell phone, probably looking at the news.
David was rather enjoying this trip so he whistled.
This was because he was in a very good mood. He who once didn't have any faith in his future had become a cultivator, and had even reached the Third Stage.
With such a good mood, the journey felt short.
They entered Vechta which had a small traffic jam due to the large number of people entering the town.
David knew quite a few small roads in the town, so he was able to bypass the traffic jam and enter the town center in no time.
There, there was a certain area full of shops selling second-hand goods.
David often went there with his mom as they almost always bought second-hand when they wanted things for their house.
He parked the car in front of the store they frequented the most.
Phew!
He sighed, looking around to see if there were any other cultivators.
They were very rare indeed, so it was hard to find one in a town like this.
Usually, those who succeeded in becoming cultivators would go to the big city, joining a certain group, which certainly helped their development plus gave them a good life.
After a moment of observation, David thought that there might really be no cultivators around.
He got out of the car quietly, followed by Isabella who seemed happy with the crowded city.
"David, I want new clothes," the girl said suddenly.
David rolled his eyes at her sudden request but he chose not to refuse. He gave her a light nod and replied, "sure!"
He thought she really needed to be bought new clothes because her average clothes were not that good. It was just because she was too pretty that people sometimes forgot that she was wearing very ordinary clothes.
The good thing about this girl was that she never complained about the poverty of their family even though she had a rather arrogant nature.
Just moments after she got out of the car, she had already attracted the attention of quite a few people. Some may have wondered if she was the daughter of a celebrity.
Perhaps under ordinary circumstances David would not have been able to calmly carry this girl with him, but he had the power now, so he looked very relaxed as he picked up the sack in the bed of the car.
After that, he carried her into the store that was almost seven meters wide.
Since it was almost night, so the store was already starting to get quiet, some of the doors were already closed.
When David and Isabella arrived in front of a door that was still open, a woman in her early 30s came out of the door.
She was wearing long jeans and a tight tanktop, had brown hair in a ponytail.
Her face was pretty, but she was a woman who often did manual labor so the feminine impression of her figure was somewhat lacking.
"What are you doing here?" the woman asked, looking back and forth between David and Isabella.
She was the daughter of the shopkeeper and had taken over the reins of the shop as her father became unable to work.
It was precisely because the shop was managed by a woman that David's mother often chose the shop.
"Sister Laura, we're here to sell old things. They may not be worth much because they're rusty, but the iron is pretty good," David replied, pointing the sack in his hand towards her.
Laura frowned at David's words.
She grabbed the sack, pulling it from David's hand.
However, when David let go of the sack, it instantly fell over, and produced a loud banging sound that was enough to startle people.
Laura couldn't help but be surprised and she spontaneously tried to lift the sack again.
The result of course was that the sack did not lift at all due to its weight of over 200 kilograms. There was no way she could lift it with just one hand without any preparation.
"What the hell?" She visibly cursed before opening the sack only to be shocked by the amount of iron inside.
Instantly, her gaze at David became strange, as if she was wondering if this boy was really that strong.
David of course just smiled.
He had no problem if others knew that he was a cultivator since he was already at the Third Stage.
With him and Isabella both at the Third Stage, dealing with them was no different from dealing with two little monsters.
Even if only Isabella was a cultivator, it was fine to start revealing her identity since she reached the Third Stage. Previously they had kept it a secret only because she was still at the First Stage.
