Death Of Quickie?
Kenji slowly reheated his blade on seeing the disappointed sight before him, he bent down to look at the crying Quickie benath him.
"No, you are NOT dying." Kenji said, he applied pressure on Quickie's wounds, no matter what, he wasn't going to let him die.
"It's okay Kenji, I already served my purpose, I am just a side character in this novel anyway." Quickie said and an involuntary chuckle escaped he and Kenji's mouth.
They were both into novels, anime and comic books and the side character trope had become a popular joke amongst their society.
A small tear weaved it's way out of Kenji's eyes, Quickie had tried to protect him when he thought he was weak, he didn't know Kenji in any way, he was just that good.
"You can't die here man, if you do, then what happens to all those people suffering at Mr.Muzuki's camp, do we just leave them to die?" Kenji asked, he knew what he was asking was stupid but he couldn't care less.
