I became the Shogun of Monsters during the Apocalypse

(God this is so boring; I need something to happen literally anything) Hans thought while sitting in his math class.

"Hans, Hans, HANS!!" yelled the teacher.

"Yes" Hans said looking back to the front board.

"Hans if you are not going to pay attention you can leave my class, you're in your senior year this is when you should be paying attention in class" The teacher said

"Yea, yea" Hans said

Standing up Hans walked to the classroom door.

"Where do you think you're going" The teacher asked.

"The bathroom" Hans said opening the door

"You have to ask next time." the teacher said

Leaving the class Hans started to walk around the school. reaching into his pocket Hans remembered he left his phone charging near his desk.

"Shit, I really don't want to go back to class" Hans said turning around.

After a few minutes of walking slowly Hans got back to his classroom. When he opened the door, he could see that the whole class was looking outside.

"What are you guys looking at" Hans asked one of his classmates.

"Just look outside" said the class president.

Looking outside Hans saw dozens of holes in the sky and on land. Looking closer at them Hans could see that things were coming out of the holes.

(Holy shit I must be seeing things is that a fucking dragon) Hans thought taking a step back.

"This can't be real I'm just dreaming and will wake up soon," said one of the students

"Nope your awake this is really happing" Hans said with a smile

"Why are you so excited" asked the class president.

"That's easy Allison because this means I don't have to worry about school anymore."

"Is that really what you were thinking about are you not afraid!" said Allison.

"Nope I have been itching for something exciting to happen all day I guess Gid heard my prayers" Hasn said grabbing his phone.

"I need to leave I have to find my family," said another student.

"If you live in the city your family if probably dead that's where most of the monsters are" Hans said

"No, they can't be they must have survived" said the student crying.

"HANS, how could you say that to Erica," said Mrs. Thomas

"What it's the truth, don't get mad at me just because she can't handle it" Hans said.

"Anyways I am leaving" Hans said walking to the door.

"You can't leave it's too dangerous," said Mrs. Thomas

"Yea what are you going to do about those things out the," said Allison.

Right after Allison said that cards started to appear Infront of people.

"What the hell is this" said the captain of the basketball team Travis.

"How the hell should we know?" said Hans.

"Why do you have to act like suck prick Hans," said the co- captain Caleb

"Why do you have to meat-ride Travis" Hans said

"Enough stop arguing" Allison said

[You have one-minute to pick a class] said a loud voice that came from everywhere

"What the hell," said Travis

Looking at the card Hans saw one that was named Berserker and it was a S-rank. Walking up to the card Hans reached his hand out to grab it.

"What are you doing" Allison said grabbing Hand arm

"I'm grabbing a card did you not hear the loud ass voice just now" Hans said pulling his arm away.

"Don't do it, it could be a trap," said Olive, Allisons best friend.

"Okay then I will test it lets see if I die or not" Hans said grabbing the card.

After he grabbed the card, a red transparent screen appeared Infront of him.

"Well, I'm not dead so you all better hurry up and pick a card" Hand said looking at the screen.

"It's just like a video game cool" Hans said looking over his stats again.

Looking around his class Hans could his classmates picking cards and so looking Infront of them probably at their stats.

(Is that it fine, equip both) right as hand thought that a piece of armor that cover his right arm and chest appeared on him. Then a giant sword around the same size as him appeared in his hand he dropped it because of the weight. opening his status Hans added 10 points to strength, 5 to vitality and 5 to endurance.

Grabbing the sword again Hans was able to lift it up with ease. placing the sword on his back Hans opened the door to leave the classroom.

"Hey where are you going" Asked Mrs. Thomas

"What don't you guys understand I'm going anywhere but here" Hans said.

"But we have to stick together," said Allison.

"You guys can do whatever you want but I'm leaving" Hans said.

"But it's not safe out there," said Olive.

"And staying here waiting for the monsters to kill us is, I will take my chances out there" Hans said walking out the class.

While walking down the hallway Hans could he the sounds of his class following behind him. When they got out of the school Hans could see that people were going into the gymnasium. Seeing that it was other students and teachers Hans went the other way.

"Hans we should go to the gym there are more people there it will be safer," said Mrs. Thomas

"That's why I'm not going to many people too big of a target" Hans said

"Why do you have to disagree with everyone let's just go" Travis said

Not responding to Travis, Hans walking to the school gate and left.

"Mrs. Thomas should we really just let him go" asked Erica

"I don't think we could change his mind even if we tried," said Allison.

Walking down the hill that leads to the main road Hans saw a group of little green humanoids eating a deer and a little passed that he was two of them were surrounding what looked like a mother with her daughter.

"Its time to start grinding" Hans said with a smile that went from ear to ear while taking his sword off his back
