Teddy kept looking at his food while drinking his tea. In his mind, he was thinking about the right sides to hold a knife and fork. Usually, in his house, he didn't use a knife or fork much. They only used spoons. Now he was supposed to use them because without eating the food, Mr. Joeng assured him that he would kill him
Speaking inaudibly, did I look that poor, or is he undermining me? Why would he buy me food because I didn't ask him to do that? I'm even afraid to show him my true feelings because this is ridiculous. Just because he's rich and a thug doesn't mean that he can control people like this
Teddy was buried in thoughts, and he kept glancing at Mr. Joeng without even realizing it. He continued to make aggressive eye contact with him.
Mr. Joeng was not aware that he was being observed because he was engaged in conversation with James. He noticed Teddy's angry expression as soon as he turned his head to look in Teddy's direction. "Why are you busy staring at me with such a cold look?"Mr. Joeng smirked. The weather is already chilly. I don't need this cold look of yours.
Teddy immediately switched his eyes to the window while sipping his coffee after realizing he had been seen staring. He continued to glance at him, but every time Mr. Joeng returned the gesture, he quickly looked away.
"I won't be going with you on Friday. You must go by yourself. You never know where the danger will come from, so make sure you bring your gun with you and avoid eating everything you see". James glared at Mr. Joeng and added, "Bring your bodyguards with you and tell them to wait for you in the car just in case war breaks out".
"you know that you're the only person I trust the most, I can't go there without you", Mr. Joeng said, furrowing his eyebrows.
"You must. Going to that club will benefit you.You have been hunting for a French buyer for two years,so this is your chance.By the way is it OK to talk these type of things in front of this kid?," James questioned as he looked at Teddy
"Like you said, he's a kid, so he doesn't hear anything. He's also not stupid enough to tell anyone about this because if he does, I'll murder him. He has been bothering me repeatedly. If he he mess with me again, I won't spare him this time" , Mr. Joeng said.
"What do you mean when you say I have been disrespecting you many times? Because this is the first time I'm seeing you", Teddy asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
Mr Joeng smirked. "Eat your food and stop asking useless questions"
Teddy has finished his tea. He started cutting off the steak with the knife in his right hand and the fork in his left. His hands were trembling ever since they mentioned the firearms, therefore he was finding it difficult to do that. Teddy had a difficult existence, yet he never considered dying as a viable option. He wished to live out the remainder of his days. He was having trouble cutting his steak, and all he could think about was getting home.
He no longer cared how she ended up there or that he was trying to get employment. He was solely thinking about how to stay alive.
He placed both the knife and fork down and took the steak with his hand. Teddy speaking inaudibly: "Let's forget about the pride for now. All we need to do is get out of this restaurant alive. If it means that I will get out of here after I finish eating this, then so be it. Let's eat it the traditional way and then fuck off.
When he observed Teddy eating in that manner, Mr. Joeng was shocked but remained silent. He felt humiliated, but he tried to hide it. He then summoned the waiter and paid the bill right away.
Teddy, on the other hand, kept devouring his steak. His mouth and all of his hands were oily, but he didn't care less.
"Mr Joeng, your friend over here is busy embarrassing us. Stop him now", James muttered.
"Let's go now", Mr Joeng said.
Teddy was left by himself when Mr. Joeng and James departed the restaurant. as soon as he noticed them leaving. He stopped eating , and wiped himself down with a napkin. "oh gosh my stomach hurts so bad, I have never ate this fast in my life" .
He glanced around and saw that everyone was looking at him. Teddy left the restaurant after getting up because he felt ashamed
He remarked as he continued to walk, "I must admit that, that person truly did help me because I was starving".
The rain had stopped, and Teddy realized that Mr. Joeng hadn't taken his suit jacket back. "He forgot his suit.He was so worried about his dignity that he jumped out of the restaurant like a kangaroo and forgot his suit", said Teddy. He looked around to see whether there were any traces of Mr. Joeng and James. But he didn't see them. "Now how am I supposed to give this to him", he asked, taking a deep sigh and adjusting his hair. He smelled the suit, and its scent was so good and unique. "This suit smells so good, I can't even describe what it smells like".
Teddy decided to go home. After what happened in the restaurant traumized him in such an extent that he was no longer interested in looking for a job. He decided to buy himself a two plate stove, coffee, sugar, bread and a pan on his way home.
He took a taxi to his home. As he was walking to his house, he saw from a distance that there were people near his house who were waiting for him. "I wonder why those people are standing there. My day was horrible. I don't need another stress".
Teddy eventually arrived at his home, and as he approached those visitors, he could tell from their expressions that it wasn't a pleasant visit. He said, "Hello, may I help you?" Yes, you could assist us by returning to your point of origin. Before you arrived, this area was incredibly quiet. You keep us from even getting any sleep at night," the other woman said. "What happened yesterday I can surely promise you that it won't happen again, so don't worry, guys, and please forgive me" .
"Young fellow, you must comprehend that we are raising children here.Allowing criminals into this area puts them in risk. I heard some concerning stories about those men. Please know that we do not object to your staying here. However, I kindly ask that you refrain from inviting such individuals to our community neighborhood again", the old man said.
The other woman warned, "If you do, we'll have no choice but to compel your landlord to evict you from this place." Teddy stuttered, "Okay, I won't, I swear."
After leaving his home, each individual person proceeded to their own residence. Teddy entered his home and set the plastic containers he was carrying on his table. It was already 18:00pm. Teddy opened the stove's box, took out the stove and plugged it in. He then filled the pot with water and set it on the stove to heat.
Before going to bed, he wanted to take a bath. He filled the basin with the water after it had fully boiled, mixed in some cold water, and then took a bath. When he finished, he lotioned his skin, and then changed into comfortable pajamas because it was chilly outside.
He boiled the water again to prepare a cup of tea for himself. He made the decision to take the clothes off of his bed as he was sipping his tea. He then discovered the jacket that Mr. Joeng had given him. Looking at the brand name, he remarked, "I wonder how much does this cost." While he was drinking the tea, he grabbed his phone and looked up the price online.
He unintentionally spewed out the tea he had in his mouth when he noticed the price. He said, "What!?," setting his tea down to rub his eyes. "maybe I'm not seeing clearly let me check at the brand again" ,he replied. He removed the suit jacket to inspect, only to discover that there was no error. It is true that the suit costs R50,000.
"Who in their right mind buys something so expensive," he said, placing his other hand over his mouth and concentrating on the phone. "He must be filthy rich because he forgot something so expensive just like that. I'm sure that R50k to him is equivalent to 20 cents" , he stated with a heavy sigh.
I should possibly simply sell it. Teddy commented as he got out of bed to set the cup on the table, "Half of my troubles will be solved. But what if he finds me and learns that I sold it? He would definitely kill me, based on how casually they talked about murdering people, which seemed to be something they did every day.
Teddy put his hands on his waist and continued, "Let's sell the blazer online right away; we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Since they don't know my name, how will they be able to find me?
