How do I kill an Undead?

"Purchase Ember," Aiden requested and a vial with a shining substance appeared in his hand.

As soon as Aiden downed the contents of the vial, he felt a surge of energy coursing through his veins.

The Dark Ember's effects kicked in, granting him increased speed and movement range. He dodged Kai's attacks with ease, his reflexes heightened.

His damage output also increased, and he could feel his punches and kicks landing with more force. The temporary invincibility granted by the ember gave him the confidence to take risks and attack Kai head-on.

Aiden didn't only dodge his attacks but also started launching his attacks at him. His fists weren't strong enough but he struck at Kai landing with precision.

Kai had a problem knowing where Aiden was due to the temporal invisibility but with his heightened sense, he managed to sense as he moved around once in a while.

Aiden's attack didn't do anything and he was conflicted as his dark Ember's power was going to wear off soon.

The hall was already clear of the students and Kyle was also nowhere to be found. He couldn't even blame him as he was at the very last of the demon hierarchy so if he couldn't handle an undead, the more so Kyle.

The school had been making announcements about sending enforcement to get to him but they hadn't arrived and he just had to hold off.

As he moved in between the attacks, he managed to quickly hold off behind a table and he quickly requested something from the system.

"I'd like a weapon that would actually do damage to Kai. My fist isn't working."

As he requested, the system beeped, and a new weapon appeared in his inventory;

A Sleek, Silver Dagger with a glowing blue edge (deals extra damage to undead creatures)

As he concentrated on reading the system information, Kai got up to him and he launched an attack at him.

His claws managed to scratch his shoulder, building up blood there.

Aiden quickly purchased the dagger without reason, grasped it and charged at Kai, striking with precision and speed. The dagger sliced through the air, leaving a trail of blue light as it bit into Kai's undead flesh.

Aiden continued charging at Kai, his silver dagger flashing in the light, but his attacks only managed to cause scratches on him that barely caused any damages.

As Kai landed another hit on him, he struck back with more intensity, plunging the dagger into Kai's shoulder, releasing a burst of blue energy that crackled through the air.

Kai roared, his eyes blazing with an unnatural fury. It swung its claws again, but Aiden leapt onto the table, using it as a springboard to launch himself at Kai. He landed a series of swift kicks, each one landing with precision and force.

The dagger sliced through Kai's undead flesh, releasing a noxious gas that reeked of decay. Aiden's invincibility wore off, but he didn't falter, his enhanced strength and speed driving him forward.

As the fight raged on, the Dark Ember's effects began to wane. Aiden's movements slowed, his breathing labored. Kai sensed its chance and lunged, pinning Aiden to the ground. Its jaws opened wide, revealing razor-sharp teeth.

Aiden raised his dagger, ready to strike, but Kai's grip was too strong. He was trapped, his vision blurring.

Suddenly, the system beeped, and a new ability started activating;

[Adrenaline Rush

As the system notification clouded his vision, so did he heard the school's announcement.

"Mr. Aiden, please be careful, we'll try our best to get him off you. Do not kill it." They warned.

"Not kill it?" Aiden was confused as he stared at Kai who was trying his best to insert a tooth into him.

Another notification rung in his head again;

[Kill the undead!

Do not let the Preys get their hands on it!

"What the hell should I do?" As he shouted, the adrenaline rush accelerated and he felt a new surge of energy in his body.

He suddenly regained the strength that was once lost and Kai was flung away from his body. He stood up in haste before the school authorities got hold of him and lunged at him.

"How do I kill an undead?" He asked the system.

[System: A strike to the head. Cut their heads off.]

"Right on it," Aiden said, positioning himself in front of Kai, who had just stabilized himself on the ground.

With a swift and deadly strike, Aiden swung his knife and severed Kai's head from his body. The wind on his neck was the last thing Kai felt before his head went rolling across the floor.

As his head detached from his body, Kai's form weared off and a headless human body rolled on the floor.

"Mr Aiden!" Aiden heard the principal voice as he rushed to him.

His face was agitated as he said, his body trembling in anger, "I said, don't kill it!"

"Since when do you make the rule?" That was the question Aiden asked before blacking out.

The notification of the system woke Aiden up from the bed he was lying on.

"Kyle, what's the time?" He asked as soon as he woke up, taking in the bright light of the room he was in.

He recalled the place very well. It was one of the leisure rooms for the elites; a place they can come to rest if they want to withdraw from the school activities for a while.

"Erm…not much time has gone." Kyle responded as he checked his wristwatch, "It's just 1pm, you've been out for at least one hour."

"So, how's the cafeteria or I mean how's the school?"

"Not really bad," Kyle said and then bore a huge grin as he praised him, "Also, you were a total badass there. Welding your dagger, dodging and then killing that fool was cool."

"So, you were there?" Aiden questioned, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Kyle.

He obviously asked the question to put Kyle in a tight spot and it did the trick. Kyle only managed to scratch his head as he struggled to form words.

"How bad," Aiden shook his head as he fixed his shoe in, "You are my ally yet you stood and watched while I fought. Do you perhaps wish me dead?"
