Who Needs Companions?!

Their immense luck does not affect the detached being!!"

Shocking words left the old man's mouth. Saber couldn't help but smile as he replied.

"Oh my, so it seems that your enemies are what you call children of heaven. And, you want me, someone who is detached from the fate of this universe, to kill those beings who are unkillable to the residents of this universe."

Saber said with a smirk on his face. Though he was told that his possible future enemies were the absolute strongest in this universe, he didn't care in the slightest.

What was the reason one cultivates if not to be the most absolute being? If he wanted to be the peak, wouldn't he come across these beings eventually?

And, knowing his personality, Saber knew he'll likely be their enemies, so it would be better to gain benefits to kill his eventual enemy anyway.

"Yes, I want you to kill my enemies. But, I have already prepared the perfect weapon and even the best guide for you.

The weapon which they so sort after, the weapon able to evolve to be the strongest in this universe, and even evolve to a tier higher than even what this universe has. This weapon has already been prepared and awaiting its master." The old man said. He then stretched his hand out as his fingers approached Saber's hand.

Gesturing for Saber to outstretch his own, Saber reluctantly followed suit as the old man held Saber's hand with his left hand, and rested his right hand's index finger and middle finger on Saber's palm while closing his eyes.

Flash!

A bright flash of light shot out the old man's forehead and then entered Saber's palm as the expression of casualness Saber previously had, changed as he adorned a pained expression.

His face contorted as the old man released his grip from Saber, allowing Saber to squirm on the ground as he gripped his head in pain. He couldn't even scream out loud since no sound came from his throat.

His eyes bulged as veins appeared around his body. His consciousness was fleeting but even when it fully disappeared, it reappeared once more as the pain went on for what felt to him like forever.

(Forbidden Zone 4, Mist Valley)

"Hmm, they sure are taking extremely long to exit the forbidden zone." A deep voice resounded as one can see the figure of an extremely bulky man. His height was around 2-meters, his arm muscles alone were bigger than Saber's waist. He had dark brown skin and hazel-colored eyes with short, but spiky black hair.

"Tsk! You simply want to kill Jayden. A little patience wouldn't hurt you know." Another voice echoed in the valley. It was a female's own as one can see her busty figure. She was adorned in tight-fitted black clothing as her chest threatened to spill over.

Her nipples were practically protruding from her clothing and her big thick ass was enticing even to monks to slap. She also had dark skin which was slightly darker than even the muscle man next to her and was currently smiling mischievously.

"Hmm, the master said not to kill the kid, but he did not say to not kill that bastard so why wouldn't I take this chance to rid that trash from the living world." He said while gritting his teeth.

"But, first we must assess our possible junior brother. Then you can bother about your petty revenge." Another voice echoed out. This time, the figure had lightly tanned white skin and he was even quite short compared to his compatriots.

He stood at 185 cm yet, the aura he gave off was way more oppressive than the duo at his sides. As soon as he spoke, both of the cultivators next to him turned quiet as they continued walking down the valley filled with mist.

"Don't forget Vanessa, go easy on him when you fight. We do not want to mistakenly kill him and gain punishment from the master." He said with narrowed eyes as he stared into the female's eyes.

She meekly nodded with a drop of sweat across her forehead when hearing his words. But, just as they were about to continue their conversation, the mist in the valley mysteriously began disappearing.

Rumble!!

A rumbling sound then resounded throughout the whole of the forbidden zone as the duo flashed across the valley and appeared hovering over the ocean.

Well, what was left of it as one can see the sight of an empty and barren landscape. Even where there once were tornadoes, one can now lay their eyes on a barren sand land. Shockingly, even the katana that was once embedded in the sand located in the eye of the largest tornado was nowhere to be seen.

The sight greatly confused the trio. Even though thy were unaware of the sword located there, they still knew there was an ocean previously located there.

(Mysterious Chessboard)

Lying on top of the black and white tiles of the chessboard, one can see the figure of Saber with his arms spread out and his eyes shot closed.

He was currently unconscious as the pain he felt had finally disappeared and allowed for him to enter the sea of darkness he always finds comfort in when he goes to sleep. Held tightly in his left palm, was a long 2-meter sword with a black-colored hilt and silver blade.

There were nine different symbols throughout the filler of the blade that seemed to represent nine different elements. It was pretty obvious since there were common things such as the lightning symbol and the wood symbol.

But there was also an uncommon one among them that was currently lit up brightly. It was shining in bright silver light and caused the surrounding space to seemingly crack.

The old man who stood over Saber's body seemed to have become a lot weaker as he also seemed to be fading away, similar to the kid that Saber had previously met.

The kid that was currently standing respectfully next to Saber's unconscious body as he gazed at the old man with eyes filled with what seemed to be sadness. The old man only smiled before he began to fade away even quicker than before.

Shortly thereafter, he had faded away into nothingness as a teardrop fell from the kid's left eye before it then transformed into an emotionless and impassive gaze as he then shifted his gaze toward Saber, or more accurately, the marking in the palm of Saber's right palm.

The symbol had a silver circle in the middle that was surrounded by three silver crescent lines. Anyway, soon, Saber's eyelids twitched as his eyes then immediately shot open. He then perceived his surroundings before locking his eyes with the 'kid' next to him.

Nodding his head, he watched on as the 'kid' seemingly turned even more transparent as he then mysteriously flew into Saber's forehead!

'An interesting creation. Using omniscience, the old man created not only a sword that can evolve even outside of this universe but also a living AI that has emotions and can similarly evolve like this sword.

It will be a great help in the future too since it can cultivate at a speed comparable to its master. He who said one needs companions on his journey to the peak is now proven wrong!

With my servant who is completely loyal to me only, I want to hear if anyone dare preach bullshit like that in front of me.'
