Many...

Appearing already standing on a white stair, Oblivion looked down where he saw a few hundred steps that lead to a white floor without end. Looking up, he was only able to see absolutely nothing besides the white stairs that lead to nowhere... It seemed infinite!

...

"Hehe... Thank you for punching my face like that... To do so with the only remaining arm you've got, you needed to let go of your sw..." But, before she could finish, her figure completely disappeared.

...

WAA!

Golden Serpent had a beaming smile on her alluring face as she appeared tens of kilometers away from the Sealing Array Treasure in an instant! Her surroundings weren't much different from where she had escaped. The lush greenery and the beautiful sunlight interconnected well with the moon's reflection of the sun...

Sigh!

Heaving a sigh of relief, she inwardly cursed the fact that she was unable to get that sword. But, since she had all the time in the world to search in the surrounding tens of kilometers, she was confident that she'll be able to find it soon.

But, this thought disappeared from her mind in an instant as her senses suddenly picked up on a terrifying feeling that suddenly washed over her body. Unaware of what it was, her expression froze at this moment along with her body. A primal fear, originating from the depths of her soul suddenly overwrote her mind and thinking capability.

Her muscles were unmoving as only a moment afterward...

Puchi!!

The sound of flesh being penetrated and blood splattering on the ground entered her ears. A stinging sensation coming from her chest overloaded her nerves in the instant that she felt this pain as she darted her eyes toward the origin where she saw a scene that made a shiver run up her spine and her skin turn pale.

Hehe...

Gripping the still beating heart that was golden in color was some slender feminine fingers that seemed to have been owned by a beauty capable of causing wars between empires! To the despair of Golden Serpent, this hand pumping with intense power and brute force squeezed as hard as it could causing the heart to be obliterated into a mist of blood.

Puchi!!

Yanking his hand back out, Oblivion gazed with a pair of fully white eyes that lacked any pupils toward the falling body of Golden Serpent. A smirk was evident on his face as he raised his fist over the body of Golden Serpent before...

Bam!!

*Splatter*

In a gory scene not for the eyes of underaged individuals, Golden Serpent's head was squashed into the blood and sticky brain matter that stuck onto Oblivion's leg. Luckily, he wasn't wearing any clothes, only a leaf that covered his little brother, otherwise, he would have needed to wash his clothes in whatever river was nearby.

After all, upon reawakening into this new self of his, he lacked the capability of using any type of energy that used to be handy for certain stuff like this in the past. Raising his leg, the sticky brain matter and blood stuck onto the ground and his leg, stretching like gum as Oblivion rubbed his feet in the grass before...

Bending over, Oblivion grabbed Golden Serpent's leg with his left hand and turned around. Thereafter he began to leisurely walk in a random direction.

Swoosh!!

Suddenly, in a fashion that would have surely shocked any other lifeform, a figure with the same features as Oblivion appeared next to him, and an instant later... three more figures, all carrying the same features, appeared as they began walking next to Oblivion, heading toward the same location.

"Have the others taken care of those Pseudo Profound Immortals..?" Oblivion suddenly mumbled with a soft yet cold voice toward the person who seemed to be an exact copy of himself.

"Of course... After all, what can a group of pesky Pseudo Profound Immortals do to any one of my selves? Especially after using the escaping talisman and being forcefully split apart just like we had predicted... They had no chance." The Oblivion on his right said. The others lightly chuckled.

Before long, the group of five Oblivions crossed tens of kilometers and appeared in front of a black-colored illusionary wall. Next to the group were tens of other groups. Out of the many groups of five, six had one Oblivion with a dead body in his hand.

Simultaneously, they all looked toward the skies where they saw a floating disk-shaped object. One Oblivion with a three-meter broad sword in hand positioned himself before...

HAA!

Lightly grunting, he threw the large broad sword toward the disk-shaped floating object!!

BAM!

An explosion took place as the sword penetrated the disk. It blew up into an explosion of flames before becoming smoke. The black-colored illusionary wall began glowing lightly before completely disappearing allowing for one to see the inside which was merely more greenery and also the figure of a clothed Oblivion who peacefully floated mid-air in a meditative position.

Opening his eyes and revealing his unnaturally black orbs, Oblivion gazed at his surroundings which were filled with countless figures who all bore a striking resemblance to himself. Smirking lightly, he then spread his arms wide as if accepting a hug... Soon after, almost all the figures present suddenly dispersed into a white smoke that was seemingly attracted toward Oblivion's figure.

Swoosh!!

Penetrating his pores, the smoke was absorbed by his body as an expression that displayed the current euphoria Oblivion experienced, appeared on his face.

The only ones remaining now were eight Oblivions. Out of the eight, seven didn't have clothes on as the eight were clothed with the clothes he had gotten from the system.

Sigh!

"That felt good..." Oblivion uttered while his feet landed on the ground. His skin seemed to have gained more definition and color.

After all, unlike in the past when the cloning technique used energy, something much different was used this time around. He didn't know what had happened, but it seemed when he used the clone technique, he could feel his whole Soul being torn apart to make a second self of his.

But, this was only for the first clone.

Besides this one, the others didn't have nearly as much pain.

And unlike any other time before turning Oblivion, he realized the clone technique had dropped a level or two. Now, his first clone would have 50% of his strength while his second would have 25% of his strength. It would continue like this the more clones he created.

Luckily, they would quickly regain strength by sleeping. The longer they slept, the faster and more strength they'll gain until they'll eventually equal Oblivion's strength.

"Soo, did they give you guys a hard time?" Oblivion teasingly asked the six with the dead bodies of his opponents in their hands. Before anyone had time to think, one of them suddenly stretched their hand out and said coldly...

"Sword! Come!"

Instantly, the broad sword up in the skies descended as this Oblivion grabbed the hilt and stabbed the blade into the body of Golden Serpent who lay dead on the ground.

"Absorb!!"

This agitated Oblivion ordered. Right after, Golden Serpent's body was seemingly sliced into thousands of chunky meat pieces and then absorbed into the blade! A dark red light escaped the sword as without Oblivion's orders, it rushed toward the five bodies of Pseudo Profound Immortals.

While this happened, the first Oblivion to order the sword dispersed into smoke that rushed into Oblivion's body.
