Fall Of A Saint King

The Five Elemental Saint Kings felt like coughing blood from Ling Feng's arrogant comment. For heaven's sake, they were Saint King existences, they were at least figures of power and might, yet this Ling Feng treated them as pet-dogs.

"Presumptuous!... Ling Feng you are really something... do you think we didn't come prepared for your Earth Vanquishing Wheel hmph!" Saint king Huo Yang burst out furiously as expected of someone with a fiery temper.

An halo of brilliant and holy flames was released from his pulsating body as he made an attack stance.

"Funny subjects! You might as well give it a try hehe!" Ling Feng mocked with a sneer.

"We have the Five Elemental Deity Extermination Array... we can't be easily rid off" Saint King Tu Xin snorted coldly with a pure and holy yellowish glow emitting from his body.

"Haha! What a wonderful Five Elemental Deity Extermination Array tsk! If your Sovereign were here, it might be considered so. But in your hands..." Ling Feng's brazen laughter shook the world as he pointed at each of the Saint Kings with a disdainful expression.

"It's not worthy of that name" Ling Feng's spoke coldly while emphasizing on each word with his gaze fixed on them. The five sensed the imperial and draconic might from Ling Feng and cautiously retreated a few steps backwards .

But afterwards, they realized that they had been embarrassed into retreat from Ling Feng's domineering aura and their expressions pale. The gaze at which they looked at Ling Feng was similar to that which one would see on the murderer of one's beloved. That was right, Ling Feng had tampered with their reverse scale... dignity!

"Ling Feng...Try the Five Elemental Deity Extermination Array today" Saint King Shui Ling's maniac roar etched into the entire Enlightened Saint Temple. The five Saint Kings suddenly released savage roars as they inscribed dao seals in the air causing strange phenomena to evoke.

Five majestic lights of varied colors appeared in the air as the entire Enlightened Saint Temple crashed under the pressure from the lights.

Five domineering auras descended as violent roars were heard. A Vermilion Bird screeched with flames spewing out of its mouth. An Azure Dragon roared gloriously as it swum in the air. A giant Kun rose out from the imaginary sea condensed by Shui Ling's aura. A White Tiger shone its sword-like eyes as its solemn gaze fixed on Ling Feng. A Black Tortoise stretched with a silencing gulp and it's divine might filled the skies.

The five beasts surrounded Ling Feng with a dense killing intent that could exterminate all below the godhood with a thought. Ling Feng personally faced the soul shattering roars of the divine beasts head-on with a pale expression.

Compared to the ferocity of the divine beasts, Ling Feng wore a serene smile whereas for each second the divine beasts remained, the holy energy of the Five Elemental Saint Kings would be zapped.

"Let's kill a Saint King today!" Ling Feng uttered with a sinister smile revealing his immaculate teeth. A pure holy light surrounded his entire body countering the fiendish energy released from the Earth Vanquishing Wheel.

Despite being surrounded by the five, Ling Feng still chose to attack. Although the formation seemed to have been fully unleashed, it's might was only a bit above the average Saint Emperor. There was an imperceptible yet fatal flaw in the formation stemming from the eye.

The main field of the formation was Saint King Mu Zhao seemingly as he was the one to last the most and the possible balancing point of the entire array.

Without delay, Ling Feng launched at Saint King Mu Zhao, the latter hadn't expected the attack, however he seemed prepared.

ROAR!

Immediately the Earth Vanquishing Wheel whirled in Ling Feng's palm, a thick blood ray flew out towards Saint King Mu Zhao.

The Azure Dragon had a bit of sentience and noticed the slithering blood ray, its roar moved in the direction causing the space to fluctuate heavily.

The blood ray remained steady after it swayed from the intense roar of the Azure Dragon. Unluckily, it pierced silently through the roaring Azure Dragon's ethereal skin. Saint King Mu Zhao felt a bad premonition immediately as he sought to avert the danger.

It was too late as the blood ray pierced through his glabella, into his skull and out from his nape before it dissipated. Saint King Mu Zhao was stunned even in death, that blood ray was a life reaper.

"Noo..."

The Five Saint Kings let out heart wrenching howls from the death of their brother, Saint King Mu Zhao. They could only watch him withering in their very own eyes helplessly. His body folded inside-out in the form of a rock.

His wood spirit vitality dissipated as well as the bloody ray had sucked off his entire life force in an instant.

Just like that, the vibrant Saint King Mu Zhao from a few minutes back turned into a lifeless rock. It was unbelievable but true that a Saint King had fallen in Ling Feng's hands.

From the look of things, not only did the array fail to endure, Ling Feng had already killed one of them before they could put up a fight. They felt miserable as the sacrifice Ling Feng had called them.
