A Bad Premonition

"Uh!"

As a Saint King, Huo Yang's senses and instinct were adept at noticing danger before its arrival. Just now, he sensed Ling Feng chasing closely with a relaxed smile towards him. He felt uneasy and hurried his pace to ditch Ling Feng but it deemed to be an impossible feat.

After minutes of panicking and unrest, Huo Yang decided to face the problem with an expert's dignity. He was tired of being chased around like a dog without a master by someone who did not even consider as an opponent. Ling Feng noticed this and his smile turned even colder as Huo Yang fell into his trap the moment he decided to stop.

"Ling Feng, this king did not wish to attack you due to your imperial status... But I would not let you make things difficult for me" Saint King Huo Yang stated with his teeth gritted. He had reached this point and would surely let Ling Feng suffer a loss even if he would die.

"Imperial status? Haha! You are impressive to dare call me an imperial descendant without a people to rule. In the end, you are only a pitiful coward" Ling Feng spoke in utter displeasure and disdain on his face.

"Ling Feng you..." Huo Yang was losing it, he nearly took the impulse to attack Ling Feng. Later, he held back as he believed it was Ling Feng's scheme against him.

"Am I wrong then? You only wish the Earth Vanquishing Wheel wasn't in the picture so that you could exterminate the remnants of the Divine Thunder Emperor for good." Ling Feng spoke coldly and all the time he didn't bother to spare Huo Yang a glance.

BOOM!

"Ling Feng do you really think I would not dare to kill you"

Saint King Huo Yang suddenly exploded in fury as he was enraged by Ling Feng's arrogant demeanor. As a cultivator of the fiery attribute, it would be extremely strange if he could still swallow the damnation given to him by Ling Feng.

A sacred aura surrounded him as golden light shone all over him with a superior might of the laws of Heaven and Earth. As a body tempering expert and with tyrannical flame physique, he rushed towards Ling Feng with a fist wrapped in flames. A cold killing intent was released as he roared in rage.

CLING!

The sound of clashing metals erupted from him as he channeled a great deal of blood qi in his attack. A burst of golden radiance filled his whole being and his expression turned solemn at the moment. He managed to summon a primitive Flame Dragon from his fist.

ROAR!

The Flame Dragon gave a soul crunching roar from its wide open mouth as it approached fiercely towards Ling Feng.

"It's good to see your 'powerful flames', I see you are barely worthy of the title 'Flame Sun Saint King". Ling Feng spoke calmly but what he uttered was completely like a divine blade that impaled Huo Yang.

Ling Feng' s scheme had been fully realized at this point and Huo Yang felt regretful that Ling Feng had controlled him through his own fury. Ling Feng swung the wheel with a cold expression against the draconic head of the Flame Dragon. The Flame Dragon wished it could escaped but how could Ling Feng let it go like that.

The Flame Dragon released a shrill sound as it struggled in Ling Feng's grasp with all it had. Before long it gave up and Ling Feng brutally patted it into nothingness. Huo Yang''s expression fell and his face paled as he saw his most powerful attack crumble in just two moves from Ling Feng.

WHOOSH!

A whipping noise echoed as the wheel spun furiously releasing a scarlet beam. The bloody beam whistled in the air with its aura locked onto Saint King Huo Yang.

He wrestled with all he could muster to escape the deathly scarlet beam. With time he discovered how futile it was after trying all means. If only he had restrained in attacking first, it would not be so troublesome to resist a single attack with all his might.

Presently, the scarlet beam shuttled like the devil blade from hell cutting off all path of retreat for Saint King Huo Yang. The scarlet ray attacked through the lingering aura of Huo Yang.

RIP!

As expected, the bloody beam reduced Huo Yang into shard pieces. After the dust settled, Ling Feng's figure was nowhere to be seen as he had set out for another prey.

After killing Huo Yang, his next target was unsurprisingly Shui Ling. The problem presently was that he could not figure the Water Spirit Saint King as the latter had traveled quite a distance.

"Heh! Pretty fast" Ling Feng had a cold grin as his sight fell on the Earth Vanquishing Wheel. With a thought, he figured out the exact coordinates of Shui Ling. He teleported thrice and caught up to him.

The latter had already sensed that Ling Feng might still attack so he was ready. His Saint Origin in the form of a domain of water surrounded him tightly. The domain had all sorts of illusory creatures formed from the thought and will of Shui Ling.

If Shui Ling eventually became a deity someday the domain would evolve into a true world. But unfortunately that day might never come as the latter was rather weak against the Earth Vanquishing Wheel.

CRASH!

The Earth Vanquishing Wheel trembled as a scarlet glow covered Ling Feng's fist. The latter released merciless punches towards the domain. The pressure from the punches caused the Saint Origin to tremble heavily and the corrosive will of death from the Earth Vanquishing Wheel caused internal destruction continually. By the tenth punch, the Saint Origin exploded into shards of rock.

"Crazy! Ling Feng you have gone completely insane" Shui Ling was mentally devastated by Ling Feng's ruthlessness. Destroying his Saint Origin simply equalled to crippling his hundredsome years of cultivation. He had been holding on since but his body was continuously weakened from the dark energy in the Earth Vanquishing Wheel.

PFFT!

He spat out a mouthful of blood with an unsightly pale face. When he looked up, Ling Feng's cold and detached gaze met his causing him to feel feverish. He knew that he was the most hated one in Ling Feng's eyes among the five of them. He could smell death around the corner from that cruel look alone.

"Please don't kill me, Cousin Feng spare me..." Shui Ling begged and even called him 'cousin' since both were related paternally. However, Ling Feng ignored his blood curdling screams for mercy and kicked him hard forcing him to lay down. With a single stomp, he turned Shui Ling into a meat paste.

Such a despicable relative was bound to be killed as he turned in his own family into the hands of their enemy.

URGH!

Ling Feng pulsated and he felt a piercing pain in his heart. His gaze turned cold as he felt uncomfortable with this sort of creepy feeling.
