Are you human?

'A Villain is one who doesn't stop until he fulfills his ambition. A hero, however, is one who won't give up, no matter what.'

.

Sebastian leaned on the wall, watching how Rank D were beaten to pulp. Every opponent got stronger and stronger, each with extraordinary strength.

"What is Rukamon and the rest of his clowns up to?" He mumbled to himself.

Throughout this entire "test", an observation he has seen from Rukamon.

He watched the moves, the action and judged them deep in his mind. Another thing which Sebastian knew fully well was that he continued staring at him.

"Rukamon!" Sebastian looked away from his stare. "What a stupid name!."

Raising his head, Sebastian continued thinking deep.

'Why are we fighting Rank A and getting equal 300pts with them?. Something is fishy here. Firstly, they aren't interested in our combat. Secondly, they are always mumbling one thing or another when the fight is on. Thirdly, it looks like a trap. This Council members are up to something, I can sense it–'

The Audible voice of Mr Akio broke his thoughts.

"Rank D has proven their strength in this test and truly I'll say I'm impressed. Being their instructor, I'll say they deserve more than 300pts. That aside, the last, Vin and Ita."

Sebastian furrowed his brows while stepping out from the crowd. Not that they could see his face (cus' the hood formed a dark shade over his eyes) just for the impression of his boredom.

"Top students from each Ranks how impressive" Rukamon relaxed.

'Now, I want to see his ability with my eyes' he said within.

"So you are Vin, uh?" Ita started the fight.

Sebastian stared at his opponent. A boy, about eighteen, not much of strength at a glance, yet his energy was impressively giving off waves and no limits to this.

Black glossy hair, average heightened, slender body and a face without a smile.

"Sure," Sebastian replied, biting his lips. "I'm definitely Vincent."

"Good, just great" Ita replied, "I've one question for you Vin"

"And that's what?"

"Why do you always wear a hoodie?"

"I don't see why that's much of your concern…"

"Well it's–"B

"Let's get this over, Ita. What a stupid name. I cannot imagine I'm Casually talking to a morta-.... A human-... A Ranked-A mage!"

"What—?! Are you okay, or do you actually want to get this point? You know you can forfeit and forget about it all. Not to mention, it's part of the rules." Ita said, waiting for his reply.

"Why should I forfeit in the first place?"

"Can't you see I'm stronger than you?"

"Don't get cocky. You don't know me. Human!"

Ita let out an "Huh!" Hearing this. He did not feel any energy from his opponent. The aura, however, was crazy.

"Human?" Rukamon frowned. "Why will he say that?"

"He's acting all tough and powerful, no big deal about it" Akio said with his usual calm state and smile.

"That doesn't mean we shouldn't be carefully listening to each and every word they say," Snow said, making the others nod. "Vincent himself is no ordinary boy. Mage or not."

"Ready Rookie?" Ita rushed to him with a serious load of punches. His aim at his head.

"Idiot!" Sebastian said as he voluntarily received the attack.

From the dust which formed, Sebastian held Ita's hand so hard, it snapped.

"What?!" Ita quickly retreated back.

"Are you done?" Asked Sebastian as the dust cleared. He didn't move a step. "Moron!"

"He's quite abusive," Snow said, watching.

Meanwhile, Rukamon and Akio both watched carefully.

"I have seniority!" Ita said, bringing out a Sword. "Now, this is personal!"

"What a fool you are. Why do you intend on Killing me? It's combat, isn't it?"

"No." Ita swung his sword with a superb speed which was faster than sound and light.

'A human moving at that speed. It's unheard of!' Sebastian moved out of the attack, when his eyes suddenly went wide open.

"AN ILLUSION!"

From behind, Ita struck his back which sent him flying away.

"Damnit!" Sebastian spat out, landing on both feets.

'An illusion, no wonder those clowns said nothing. How frustrating!'

"You are tough, and also strong." Ita said, ready to go for another round.

"I don't need your useless compliment!" Sebastian told him, his head lowered and anger fuming in his eyes.

"Calm–"

A blow from Sebastian struck Ita down. Into the ground. Creating a hole. Which made water erupt out.

The entire students who were watching, gazed in awe.

"What?!" They all said, "Such power!"

"Why use that anger to fight me? And why use so much hatred?" Ita asked, from behind.

'He dodged my attack? Talking about speed'

"If I was there, I would have been dead by now. You know that right?" Ita looked at him. He wished he could see his eyes.

"Yes, I know"

"Why such hatred? We haven't crossed paths once, have we?"

"No! But I despise your actions."

"Uh? Are you nuts or something?"

Sebastian didn't waste his time exchanging words with a minor, instead, he went straight for the kill.

"Enough!" Ita said as soon as Sebastian almost landed a skull breaking move on his head. "I have taken enough from you!"

That was the moment Sebastian received a blow on his stomach. So hard, he couldn't resist spitting out blood.

Akio's mood switched.

"Looks like Ita Is stronger than Vincent" Rukamon said.

"Ita is in Rank A and Vincent in Rank D. For a Rank D to actually beat up an upper rank, to an extent of releasing his opponent's anger, is one good skill" Snow concluded.

Sebastian held his stomach. As a demon, he could heal, so no big deal.

The moon had long come out ever since their fight started. All students watched, no one eager to sleep.

"Okay, I do not want to hurt you at all. But you give me no choice. Plus the aura emitting from you is purely dark!" Ita said, not wanting to hold this back.

Sebastian smiled, as he slowly walked backwards into the shadow formed by the oak trees.

"You don't want to give up?" Ita asked. "This is between–"

A lightning fast move rapidly approached him with great speed, sending a blow which almost sent his head away.

Ita landed on the ground looking at who that might be.

"Vin?"

'This aura is different! This aura isn't the same as the one before! Is this the same Vin?'

Vin walked towards him with each step speaking words of anger.

"I'm back!"

[Damn! I hate that ceremony! I'm happy I could conceal the scent of pure evil that followed me down here. I will thank Sebastian later for keeping up in Zenphek, even though he hated it.]

"How?!"

"Let's finish this!"

For the first time, Ita saw Vin's eyes. It glowed red.

"Are you human?!"
