Nothing.

A soft tune of classical music gradually pulled him of his unconscious state. The teen could feel the sun's morning rays shining down on him, as if to comfort him.

Opening his eyes slightly, he could make out a bunch of medical equipment surrounding him. A vase full of colorful flowers was on the small bed stand beside him.

Taking in a short breath in confusion, he weakly sat up on the soft hospital bed. Bewildered, he tried to search his memories but other then basic information, he couldn't recall anyone, anything he knew.

A passing nurse outside walked by his door and by chance, she saw the teen wake up.

"You don't remember anything?" The middle aged doctor asked the teen.

"..Correct." The boy's voice was soft and airy, and it still had a hint of confusion.

"..I see. Any discomforts?" The doctor paused before asking more questions.

"Not really…"

"Well I don't want to tire you so for now, rest up then we can continue this later." The doctor smiled before excusing himself.

A few weeks had passed, and the young teen had gotten more information about himself.

His name was Allen Vise, a 16 year old who grew up in a relatively wealthy family. His father, mother, and sister had died in a brutal car crash that resulted in Allen being the only survivor. (Mind you, the doctor made sure Allen's condition would be fine before telling him this.)

He has no other surviving relatives that they know of, but since Allen was 16, he could be able to live by himself if he did a mental health assessment.

The nurses felt pity for the young boy, so they had always treated him well, especially after Allen had learned of his past.

Allen couldn't remember anything of his life, yet he felt the urge to cry and bawl his eyes out whenever he tried to remember.

It felt as if someone had broken his mind into half and took away everything he had dear, while he kept his lonely other half.

However, he was careful to hide it. He made sure to be careful with his actions, his facial expressions, and even his behavior.

Thus none of the nurses could tell Allen was having a major enteral conflict within himself at every passing moment.

Allen didn't need some strangers to take care of him. He'll do it himself…if his mental health could take it.

He wanted to cry, but he couldn't. He couldn't even recall the people who he would be crying about, it felt empty.

One day, he sneaked off to the hospital's rooftop. There was a botanical garden on top and the sides were all blocked with sturdy metal fences, and there were spikes to discourage any people from dangerously climbing over.

Studying the flowers, Allen's eyes drifted to the edge of the roof. The sun was neither hot nor cold, it was a beautiful day.

Going near the corner of the rooftop, he imagined flying, being free, meeting up with the blurry strangers in his mind.

"I don't know you, yet I still mourn for you…" Allen spoke to himself. He felt tears dripping down his cheeks. Suddenly, his long blond hair got caught on something.

He looked down and saw that it had gotten caught on a rusty nail. The fence had broken off partially and there was a small opening near the edge. You could truly see how big the hospital was as the buildings below seemed as big as his finger tip.

"It would be a shame..if someone fell off." A hazard. Something uncommon for a big hospital like this.

"A real shame…" before Allen could stop himself, he slowly lowered his legs off the edge. Pushing the fence away more, Allen was in danger of falling off.

"…" Allen closed his eyes and leaned forward, inhaling the fresh air.

A hand suddenly shot out and grabbed Allen's hair, yanking him back.

"Urgh-!" Allen groaned in pain as he felt some of his hair get ripped off because of that sudden grasp.

He looked back angrily, but was greeted by black dress pants, so he had to squint to look up.

A handsome sly looking man was staring down at him with an unamused expression. His sharp blue eyes flickered with disgust, and his red plump lips were pursed in a frown.

"At least have the common decency to look around before you jump idiot." The man clicked his tongue.

"Oh I see." Allen thought. "He'll try to stop me-"

"Jump later when there are no people around. Geez, I came to this remote hospital for some peace yet I can't have that can I?" The man groaned, his loose black hair flowed in the wind. "Hm but maybe I shouldn't have came to a hospital now for peace em?"

"…I-"

"Shut up. No one cares, I'm not the one who tried to jump off a building." He snickered to himself. "A chunni too, man's wearing an eyepatch like he's some main character kek."

Allen was indeed wearing an eyepatch, but it was because his left eye still had some scars healing up.

"Cmon, let's see what's underneath hmmmm~?" The sly man laughed as his hand quickly shot out and took the eye patch off.

"Hey-!" Allen's other eye hadn't been exposed to sunlight for quite a while, so he couldn't see much due to this sun.

"…" The silent man went quiet.

"Give me my eyepatch back-" before he could finish his sentence, Allen got his eye patch quickly put on again. In confusion, he turned back to the strange man.

"Don't ever take that eye patch off. If you do, use that long hair of yours to hide it." He commanded.

"Hey-!? W-Who even are you?! And what is it about my eye-?!" The man's sudden appearance seemed to shake something within Allen.

"Amnesia hm? Anyways the reason why I said to hide your other eye is because it's ugly, like super ugly. So hide it because no one would want to be your friend if they saw your eye."

"…"

"And you're gonna be my pupil, so make sure to thank the heavens." The man sneered and disappeared, leaving Allen bewildered and alone.
