When the man called me Duke , Many unfamiliar memories rushed into my head

They were memories of the Predecessor from his childhood to death

This world is full of supernatural things from witches , Demons , Beasts and dragons exist but are rarely seen and are also considered as the strongest in this world

There are total three kingdoms

Azar kingdom , Magnus kingdom , Fairy kingdom and other lands are covered by Dark forest

The Dark forest is the most dangerous land many dangerous beast , Demons and witches live here.

Only the kingdom of Azar shares it's border with Dark forest.

The Predecessor name is Lucas same as mine , He was third child of Richard Ledger , His father and brothers hated him because Lara the wife of Richard and mother of the brothers died while giving birth to him.

His childhood dark and so his personality was villain like

His father always cursed his ancestors , The ancestors of Ledger family was one of the most important family who contributed in the making of Azar kingdom.

After the King was crowned he gave Ledger family the title of Duke and sent them to the border of Dark forest for protecting the Kingdom

The foolish ancestors happy with title of Duke took a oath that he and his future generations will always protect the border from beast coming from the Dark forest swearing the heaven

The ancestors didn't even realised that they were tricked until they came here .

Because of the oath now the Ledger family is near to its extinction.

His father and brothers died while killing a beast on the border and because of this he became the new Duke

The Raven city is near the Dark forest and is also the Border of Azar kingdom it is a isolated place one side the Dark forest and other side big mountains and hills

Outsiders are rarely seen here the population is constantly declining

This Raven city is the home of Ledger family

Invitation's for banquet coming from the capital are rarely seen because of shame brought by their ancestor they do not have courage to or face left to attend any banquet

So many invitation are rejected and no banquets are held in raven city

Lucas was not talented in sword and magic

I left the carriage and entered the castle seeing the castle it seemed like it has not gone through proper care from years

Many maids and servants have resigned after his father and brothers died only Lucas and few servants live here

I got into my room and started changing in front of a big mirror

In predecessor memories their was no such tattoo on his back it really was a strange thing

I put on my clothes and laid on the bed thinking about my future

Out of curiosity I said in my mind "Water magic" soon water started forming on my hand

I got excited I cancelled it and said "Fire magic" fire started rising on my hand

I hurriedly cancelled the spell and started trying every type of magic that exist

After cancelling the last spell I very happy as a transmigrator I didn't get any system but got a bunch of cheat skills
