"I'm flying high, baby!"
Inside a ship that is rapidly soaring through the void known as space. A teen sat near a window as he played on a mobile gaming system. Laughing or smiling at the small antics the game provided as he attempted to shave off boredom.
The figure is naturally Jason who began playing games as he traveled the cosmos. Due to not knowing how to navigate nor wanting to be in the crew's way. He just figured he would just stay put and play games as he waited to arrive.
"Let the grind throw to Level 99 and maybe run to fifty before finishing the farming tutorial." Jason said to himself as he began button mashing.
While speeding through the story and finally getting to the spot to grind his skills. Jason soon wished he had an adaptor and could create a simple program to auto grind for him. Only, despite futuristic technology, a sad cord was stopping him.
"It is a good thing I am bored." He sighed as he slightly wondered why he does this to himself.

While Jason suffered from the disease known as boredom, back on Earth. It was as if a spring was released as all chaos broke loose. From Spiderman fighting against a man who can turn into and control sand, to the Fantastic Four fighting against Dr. Doom. Each growing more destructive than the last. The deadliest one however was Sentry who decided to rumble across the states battling Ares.
Thanks to this, his popularity fell quite a bit but if one asked who was the best hero. It would still undoubtedly be him thanks to the media influence. There were a few though asking where Superman was as they began releasing how much he actually does for them.
Inside the lab, Felicia was currently sweeping up the broken glass while Lala was directing a few worker bots to replace or repair the buildings. Thanks to Spiderman's battle against the sandman, the labs windows were shattered and the building took a bit of damage.
"Why did they wait for Jason to leave the planet?" Felicia grumbled.
Thanks to all the chaos, the economy took a hit and now the prices are rising. From the destruction and need to repair. Now everything was growing in price as the store shelves became more scarce. Even her rent had an unnecessary increase.
"It is not because he left, but more like he was a weight keeping them held down." Lala answered after thinking for a moment.
Thanks to how fast and efficient Jason was when he stops criminals. It decensored the public to the amount of danger or damage the criminals were capable of. So much they didn't realise how much they relied on him which has its pros and cons. Now he wasn't here to stop them, it sort of was mind boggling for most.
"Ha, now the media is probably going to target him for not showing up." Felicia replied with a small sigh. "They don't like him, yet they get mad when he doesn't appear."
Laughing at the accurate description as she agreed with it. Lala also let out a small sigh as she felt the building trembling once again. Looking around as the glass she just put in was shaking violently, she saw an unstable portal open behind her.
A few moments passed before two men stepped out. One stood straight with his blondish hair and beard with a black eye patch. Next to him a man who had brown hair with a shield stood next to him staring.
"Time travelers or dimensional hoppers?" Felicia asked.
"I hope they are dimensional hoppers. Luckily Jason isn't here for this." Lala whispered to her.
"Time Travelers hopefully. Steve Rogers at your services." The brown hair one introduced himself. "May I ask which year this is."
"Before I tell you to return immediately, what is your purpose?" Lala asked.
"In a few years, Thanos, a mad titan will erase half the universe. To stop him from succeeding we must collect the infinity stones to undo it." Steve replied almost uncaringly.
Hearing the small explanation Lala and Felicia just sighed. Isn't the titan they mention the one Jason and Gid were heading towards? The doubt the two of them will fail didn't seem likely either.
"What about Superman?" Felicia asked. "Where is he in your time?"
"Superman?" The blonde asked. "Who is this warrior known as Superman?"
"A comic book hero?" Steve asked in confusion.
Hearing the response both girls let out a small sigh of relief. They weren't time travelers and only dimensional hoppers.
"Go back, you hopped dimensions." Lala said before seeing them ready to refuse. Luckily the portal was still behind them and before they knew it. Lala kicked them both back through before it vanished in a few moments.
Nodding to each other to not mention this to Jason when he returned. The two returned to their jobs of cleaning.

Standing in the cockpit as a large planet appeared before his very eyes. Jason smiled as the trip was finally over and put away his game. He had finished the first and second act.
The planet was a large brown planet that seemed unable to sustain life on it. While space debris orbited the planet a few pieces could be seen burning up as it fell. Jason rubbed his chin wondering if Lala could come up with something to speed up the planet's recovery? It might be a good planet to relax on in the future.
"Is Gid already here?" Jason asked.
"He shall be arriving tomorrow at the latest." Zastin replied. "His trip was slightly longer than yours."
"Do you have any information on Thanos at least." Jason frowned lightly at the waiting game.
Handing over a tablet as if prepared for the question, Zastin smiled. Taking it, he flipped through it and learned about Thanos and the world he currently orbited. From his exile to the extreme idea of killing half the population as his idea of 'saving' planets of starvation.
'Ha, I guess that's one way of being a savior.' Jason shook his head while seeing pros to the idea but a whole lot more cons.
