Hestia and after...

(Aiden POV)

It has been a while since I visited Earth. I had to apply so many seals all over my body to keep my rampant powers in check, so now even if I go ballistic in a fit of anger, I am not gonna destroy this planet. I can undo the seals anytime but I hope I don't.

I waltzed into Krono's palace on top of Mount Othrys and I gotta say, he has got some taste. The throne room is completely magnificent. A slope leading up to the 12 thrones in a U with the middlemost and the most extravagant one occupied by, you know it, Kronos. He has got a greater gold fetish than Gilgamesh from that one anime.

As I walked up to them, 12 pairs of eyes locked on me and I just smiled and waved my hands. Rhea is the first one who came up to me and I gotta admit, she is my favorite grandchild out of all, super kind and very gentle. I gave her a big hug. The Titans, apart from their lust for power and being the "superior" race, are well-knit among each other. They have that family feel and that makes me really happy. I am not worried about Kronos and the rest who sealed away Gaia, they will get owned by the gods.

As we finished our hug, Kronos came up to me and asked, "What are you doing here?".

Jeez someone is not in a good mood. "Just to visit my grandchildren after their successful coup against their own father," I said the last part with my voice turning colder.

Kronos narrowed his eyes and plastered a sneer on his face. "Why are you here? This is no place for weaklings, this is the abode of the Titans!"

I had to hold back myself from vaporizing him. He is required for the gods to be born... Actually, this is perfect.

"Yes Kronos, I have grown weaker over time, I am just a bit away from fading away and I just wanted to meet my grandchildren and be with Rhea when her child is born".

The council? erupted at the end of my reply and Rhea had a horrified look on her face. Her eyes shifting over to Kronos with undisguised fear.

Kronos over here was bristling with anger.

"RHEA!!" Kronos bellowed while flaring his powers. 'Puny' I thought.

"HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME OF A CHILD BEING BORN!!! YOU DID HEAR ABOUT THE CURSE FATHER PLACED ON ME RIGHT??" he continued with his anger rising by the minute.

'Wait curse, what curse?... Oh no!!!' I came to a realization and looked at Rhea apologetically.

"Yes Kronos, I do bear a child but she isn't even born yet, how could she threaten your seat of power," she said trying real hard not to expose her fear.

Kronos looked as if he was considering something and then he replied, "You will bring the child to me as soon as she is born. Understood?"

She nodded stiffly and I took her to her chambers. As soon as we entered, she started crying and I kept comforting her. I already have a plan but I have to make sure the child is born.

In an attempt to change the topic, I asked her, "Princess, what will you name your daughter"

She had a small blush on her face when I called her princess but replied, "I haven't thought about it... What will you like to name her Grandpa"

I acted as if I was in deep thought and then replied with a smile, "Since she is a girl, let's name her Hestia. She will grow up to become the kindest woman and will always have a smile on her face." while saying so, I blessed her.

It has been a few months and I have been accompanying Rhea the whole time. If anyone asks why I am here, I pull out the 'Grandpa card' and all is well.

Rhea has given 'birth' (They are Titans, they is no need for mortal childbirth methods) and Hestia is super cute. With large reddish-orange eyes and a small nose, her cuteness is further amplified with all the baby fat on her cheeks. I kept pinching her cheeks and I could hear her giggles. Wow! so these are the Olympians huh?

Rhea cradled Hestia and kissed her forehead before donning a determined look on her face and went to Kronos. I obviously know what's gonna happen and got all my preparations done.

She entered the throne room with baby Hestia in her arms and me right behind her. She carefully passed on Hestia over to Kronos. He took one look at her daughter, asked her name and then straight up swallowed her.
