Happy Birthday Robin!

Robin changed into her normal clothes and placed her uniform in the locker.

She signed " today is even tiring than the last few days" she muttered dragging her feet towards the exit.

The reason why she is more tired today is she got used to staying in Damien's office and not actually working. But Damien is in a foul mood and kept on lashing out to everyone today.

The food tasting went horrible because of his mood but that didn't keep this foodie from finishing most of the food.

"going home to meet the siblings or should I just go stay at uncle George place for the weekend?!" She tapped her chin deliberating and steeped outside.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Joy and Zach popped up with their confetti.

They proceeded to sing the birthday song.

Robin mouth dropped down she was stunned! Birthday!!

Her birthday is like the worst day in her life. It was the day she lost everything, her parents, her feelings, her pride, her love everything!

But it isn't the reason she was stunned now, today! today!...

"happy birthday to you" Zach and Joy ended their song breaking Robin out of her train of thoughts.

"err.. wow" Robin forced a large smile on her face to make her look happy.

"Robin am sorry for what happened earlier today" Joy hung her head low.

" see what happened is.. I and Zach planned a small party for you today and I was to distract you from coming to the apartment but I didn't know how to" Joy inches closer to Robin.

" then an idea popped in why don't I pretend to be angry at you cause I know you avoid everyone that is angry at you so I included Zach in the plan but... " Joy explained.

" but you got carried away classic Joy" Robin chuckled.

" can you forgive this stupid lady?" Joy looked her Robin with her innocent eyes.

" can you forgive me too...yes I was talking about myself there am sorry you said until you are ready but this feelings keep popping out without me realizing... in short can you forgive me?"

Robin paused for a bit" of course only if you guys can forgive me too...I am also stupid and a b*tch! can you forgive this stupid b*tch?" Robin asked.

" yes yes" Joy jumped on her and hugged her.

Zach stayed behind just watching them,he knew if he got closer to Robin she would immediately move away. She have been disgusted by his sight lately like he is some type of virus.

"come on Zach join the hug" Joy waved him over.

"nah I don't want to ruin the besties hug" He shook his head.

Joy broke free from Robin and pushed Zach into her arms.

" am so sorry Zach" Robin hugged him burying her head in his chest.

" for what?" He placed his arms around her waist.

" for treating you like some piece of shit..I actually have some personal issues that flare up at times making me unapproachable" Robin explained turning Zach away so Joy couldn't hear what she was saying.

" I understand" Zach pecked her forehead before releasing her.

"so did the lovebirds make up?" Joy said clapping happily.

"which birds? there is no love bird here the only birds I see is the pigeon and a Joy" Robin wrinkled her face in confusion before letting out a small laugh.

"Mmm...Zach she is mean" Joy ran to her brother hugging him.

"enough of this where is the cake?!" Robin asked.

"at the apartment although we have no body to eat it with just the three of us" Zach replied.

" now that's the kind of party I like" Robin laughed and followed them.

They went to the apartment and met Mae waiting by the door.

" oh hello" Mae smiled at Joy" good evening Zach" She beamed at Zach.

Robin signed tiredly and proceeded to enter but was blocked by Zach.

" lemme open the door for the birthday lady" Zach opened the door and led her in.

" I have never seen you with Zach before. Are you a friend?" Mae asked Joy.

'this girl will be Robin's friend. She might try to get Zach for herself' Mae thought.

"no am his sister" Joy replied not liking the way Mae is behaving.

She didn't greet Robin and now didn't greet her just asking stupid question.

"oh am sorry" Mae quickly stood straight her tone now polite" am Mae his next door neighbor..we have been living here for a long time I know what's the best for Zach and I would like if we can be friends?" She said trying to get in Joy's good book.

"no!" Joy said bluntly" I don't like you. You seem like a bad person for him" Joy said and entered the apartment locking the door behind her.

Robin smirked as Joy entered. She had stayed behind the door while Zach went to the kitchen to fetch the cake.

She didn't get angry when Mae didn't greet her,she is used to it.

But when Mae had tried to be rude to Joy she wanted to run out there and pull out that brat's hair but had refrained herself when she heard how Joy had used her simpleness destroy Mae's stupidness.

"I wonder how you survive with that neighbor of yours Robin" Joy shook her head.

"nah it's the other way around..how does she survive with me here" Robin smirked.

"if she has feelings for Zach she should tell him and let him decide not chasing every girl she sees with him" Joy said walking to the front.

Robin laid on the bed with Joy fat asleep beside her. After the cake cutting everything just went in fast forward that she didn't even know when she had gotten on the bed.

The guilty feeling that had taken hold of her isn't leaving. Since the time they had started singing the birthday song up till now.

Robin closed her eyes and took deep breaths trying to clear her mind.

*Ding, a text on her phone.

' I didn't know I was this important to you Robin'

'wow lying to your friends for me am flattered'

'we both know today isn't your birthday'

Robin gripped the phone tighter. If he hadn't taken her phone number from the employees whatsapp group.

This blasted man Damien.

'you know exactly what today's date is' Damien texted.

'today is the anniversary of the day we first met!'
