Chapter 3

Jacob mumbled to himself, his voice soft with escaping breath. His head dropped down, his eyes losing their luster. He felt complicated, nervous and for the first time in a while, he felt scared, truly afraid of the future. 

Although he is originally from this world, but his mind is not. He grew up in a law abiding world, where nothing would ever happen for no reasonable reason, life was precious, family and friends to accompany him and now he's here, alone in a 13 year old body, walking through an ancient forest with no idea what might happen next.

"What happened, why did i wake up my previous world memories…"

" is this really happening?!,... maybe I'm dreaming, yes that has to be it right?! " 

"is this a dream?, illusion?!..... WHYY!, why why why!"

His heart beating aloud, as if it is out of his chest, his head fuzzy, his eyes turning red with sadness and confusion. He started to doubt himself, holding up his hands up to his head, continue mumbling, but a similar numbness and pain coming from his arm broke his thoughts and brought him back to reality, to the fact that all of this is real, he's here, him the 28 year old brilliant biometric engineer of his time and a daring, brave 13 year old hunter who survived on his own since he was 7. 

They are all him, he isn't alone, and he isn't a helpless child either. He's a half-witch hunter with a mindset of 28 biometric genius. He can make it.

" let's take a deep breath… one,.... two,...."

"Okay, we can do this, I can do this". 

After he calmed down the surging negative emotions, he felt much better, better than even before. His mind was clearer, no more voices, his thoughts were clear too, ideas started to spun, he felt lighter, stronger, his senses heightened, his vision super clear and super fast to catch moments within his view.

" what's happening to me, I feel… empowered"

" Wait, let me open my status. Maybe I see what's going on "
