Emerald

During her silence, Sebastian's heart beats faster. He thought she was going to call their relationship off and dust the rumor to his face. But the only thing he got was invisible kisses coming from her through the phone.

"Muah, muah, muah, muah, I love you."

"I love you more, I wish this wasn't Ryan's phone, I would have return the kisses in favor." He tittered.

"Hmm, I know right?"

"So when are you coming?"

"Seb, I'll speak with dad about my coming back to LA and I'll give you feedback on whatever he says. I have a lot of work to do in my branch office over there." She sighed and helplessly shook her head.

"It's alright my love, whatever you do, just remember that am always beside you, okay?"

"Yes, baby." She felt better.

After they hung up, Ryan grinned, "Alright dude, how do you feel pal?"

Taking a deep breath of satisfaction, Sebastian slumped on the couch and relaxed his head on his crossed elbows while grinning, "I feel good, man."

"Seems like she has zero idea about this."

"Precisely."

"Uhh...before I forget, arcade tomorrow at the usual." Ryan snapped his fingers in a bing!

"Ugh man, why this period of time when she's over there in Seoul?"

"Brother man, you can still place it on video mode while playing. Just like how I did mine in the golf game when Anastasia went to see my in-laws." He shrugged.

Jin-joo's place

Taking out the gifts, Zhou gasped, "Oh my goodness, look at these."

"They're so lovely grandma." Kang-dae who was also checking out the gifts Sebastian bought for him, sighed in satisfaction.

When he was on his way home, he thought of one thing; why don't he stop by a shop and get something good for them. Something they might like. They're worth it. Sebastian is not forcing himself to be nice, it's just part of his hobby.

"I can't wait to fix this on."

"No way, grandma. Those are met for young boys like me."

She slapped his hand off when he sneak to pick the golden jewelries.

"Hey, that's not fair."

"What will you be doing with this?" She pouted her lips and checked in for more. Her eyes widen when she saw an emerald necklace which comes along with a a bracelet and earrings.

"Woah!" Kang-dae can't remember the last time he saw an emerald. It has to be from the movies. "Grandma, is that an emerald?"

She grinned while waving it over her face, "This is so beautiful."

"Yeah, and expensive as well. But I can afford it."

Dropping it inside the bag, she flicked his forehead, "Go away, silly. You don't even know how to prank. Though you have money, so much but I bet these will cost you your net worth." She just knocked his spirit down but he didn't notice.

"Alright, fine but still remember am your grandson and maybe tomorrow I might get you a black diamond."

"Black what? Geez, what will I be doing with that?" Sounds irritated to her. Zhou hates anything that has to do with the mixture of black. She has a black Ferrari given to her as her eightieth birthday present from Dong-Hyun and she sprayed it purple.

"Am a grandma with coat of many colors excluding black or anything dark." She proudly shrugged her shoulders.

Rolling his eyes, Kang-dae is so fond of her praising herself for little stuff. He gets sick of it.

"On a contrary, scientist loves the test." He flashed his brows while grinning, "Are you scared of the dark, old lady?"

Before he could finish his last words, she scoffed and dramatically flicked her hair back, "Huh, why should I be afraid of the dark?"

"Okay, why don't we check it out, Mrs Zhou Kim." With a smirk on his face, he dashed towards the switch and waved goodbye before turning it off.
