CHAPTER 15: I CHEATED, I KNOW

A week passed, all I did was increasing my magic power during our classes, developing magic type skills by watching my classmates use magic in secret, and improving my [Sloth] skill.

My [Sloth] skill is now level four, that's why I can recover faster now. My [Envy] and [Lust] leveled up because I've been using them to copy and steal a little bit magic. My [Insect Queen] also increased its level because I've been summoning insects just to extract venom and acid.

I got my [Fire Magic] from Konan, My [Wind Magic] from Sarah, [Earth Magic] from Hawk, [Water Magic] from Faye, an [Smoke Magic] from Ash. I could have fused them with my [Wrath] skill but I'd like to max them first.

The other groups also started to switch to magic. I could have used my [Greed] and [Envy] skill more but that would cause abnormality within my System so I decided not, I'll increase them myself.

Two weeks more to go before the competition. Although I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate because I cannot show any of my skill except [<charm >]. I actually have [<Charm >] skill. My [Lust] skill has [<Charm >], [<Conviction >], and [<Desire >].

There is a possibility that I can use it or battle with pure strength but I'll be competing with the newly improved classes. Even Priscilla, whom I categorize as the weakest of the class A, also improved a lot.

That's what her current status looks like. If she train harder, her status will improve more. If Priscilla improved a lot, that means, her classmates also improved.

I just sighed. Ash saw it and asked me what's the problem. I just shook my head. Ash treats me better now than the first day of his teaching. My group even call me lucky because they are still treated the same just like before.

I just found out that Hawk excels in his group, trained by Carina. He is strong so it's not surprising. Faye and Sarah are competing with each other on the position of the strongest in their group, which is encouraged by their teacher, Konan.

The strongest in our group so far is the ogre, Fir, and the fox demi-human, Faust. Fir is more of a magic user but she's also extremely strong, and Faust is more on strength but his Fire Magic is high. Now that we train hard, they improved more.

I talked to teacher Diana about guns and she, unexpectedly, talked more in an enthusiastic way. She even told me the types of guns existing in this world. She gave me one, the type that you need to store your magic power in the bullets. I can even ask my classmates to lend me fire magic and lightning magic, she said. But I planned on using my own magic power (energy) as I found out that energy is formless in its original form that's why it is easier to manipulate that magic power that is influenced by innate nature and talent of man. 

We were all busy training when the school alarm sounded. A group of witches were seen near the school, the announcement said. Teacher Diana immediately told us to enter our classroom which we did.

The class 3s came out, prepared to fight the witches. I saw a familiar face among the witches.

"Isn't that Lila?" Hawk beside me asked.

"Yes, what is she up to?"

"Revenge?" Hawk laughed. Gosh, you shouldn't be laughing at this moment.

"Do you both know who their leader is?" Carina asked.

"We fought against her before, when she attempted to get Priscilla," Hawk answered, refusing to elaborate it further. 

"I'm surprised that you escaped, this witch is on higher level," Konan stated.

Hawk laughed when he remembered how we won. I summoned insects and they attacked her, you know. On Earth, insects are more dangerous than any animal. Mosquito alone is enough to kill millions of people.

I brought out a jar from my small bag. This is the honey the bees brought me. They all looked at me like I'm doing something illegal. It's just honey.

"Where did you get that, Andromeda?" Carina asked me.

"I destroyed a beehive," I answered in a sarcastic tone but they accept it as the answer. Eh?

"Aren't bees dangerous? Magic has no effect on them." Faye.

Bees in this world wear armors on their body, or that's what it looks like to me. And they are five times bigger. They are super strong that not even the higher ups can eliminate a whole group. Honeys are also extremely expensive.

"It's easy, just create a flame below their hive, they'll go away."

"Eh?!"

Anyways, we shouldn't be talking about things like this. I watched the battle between the class 3s and Lila. The teachers did not interfere because they see this event as a training for the class 3s. In the end, Lila escaped, the other witches that she brought along were killed, if not, they were captured.

HOW DID IT SKYROCKET LIKE THIS?! OF COURSE, IT WAS MY FAULT THAT I TRAINED AND TRAINED AND ATE AND ATE AND HUNTED AND HUNTED FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS!!!

Just look at these new skills. Absolutely unbelievable.

[Gluttony <Converter >] which allows you to convert everything you eat into energy. [Wrath <Magic Attack Improvement>] which means your magic attacks are all stronger. [Insect Queen <Acid spitting> <Venom Spitting> <Itch Touch>]. [Sloth <Automatic HP recovery> < Automatic Battle Mode><Automatic Magic Usage>]. [Pride <Glare >]. [Greed <Strengthening > allows you to steal all your opponent's strength and make it your own <Life Sucking> reducing your opponent's HP while increasing yours with it].

Aren't they scary?! I can literally just take lives by using these skills. This is the result of my daily consultation with system and my hunting session, which particularly means my sneaking outside the school to hunt wild animals.

So anyways, let's not stress ourselves with that. I just talked to system about the skills I can use that are close to [Charm] and/or skills that can be perceived as charm.

These are namely:

Terror, Glare— PRIDE

Steal, Copycat, Strengthening, Life Sucking — GREED

Demonic Eyes of Paralysis, Demonic Eyes of Petrification, Eyes of Envy — ENVY

And all my [Lust skills]:

Charm, Conviction, Desire, Camouflage, Copy Transformation — LUST

And because of this discovery, I can now participate in the battle tournament. Isn't this great?

That's what I thought but... Priscilla won't talk or come close to me anymore. I tell her every time that there's no way I'd hurt her but she only replies, "I know but what if you cannot control it?"

Hawk and I just sigh and let her do whatever she wants. Hawk's status skyrocketed, too. I probably won't be able to win against him. Having Carina, the sadist, as his training partner, he sure have improved himself. Meanwhile, Priscilla. I don't think she leveled up much.

"Andromeda! You're trying to sneak out again?!" Ash shouted.

No! I'm not! I'm just trying to take a break for a moment. T^T

"Remember, you're the weakest among the group so far." Ouch!

"Remember, everyone! The event will be held next week. You have to prove you're capable of winning, alright?"

"Yes!!"

How boring is this? I cannot use my abilities and I have to pretend I cannot use the [Charm] magic because of the effects.
