On the other side, a dispute erupted in Susan's family.

"Dad, can't you just make a call and find out what happened to my classmate?" Susan pleaded with her father to use his connections to inquire about the situation.

"No way!" Upon learning that the person arrested was Ye Feng, Susan's father refused to help, insisting that his daughter must sever ties with that boy. Susan had once asked her father to investigate the truth about a car accident, so her father had some impression of this Ye Feng.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Susan's mother opened the door to find an urgent delivery.

"Strange, who would deliver a package at this hour?" Opening the package, the family of three was stunned. It turned out to be a job offer, along with work uniforms and an employee ID card.

Susan's father opened the job offer and was instantly shocked. "A job offer from Zhao Group's headquarters? And the position is... HR manager?!"

"How is that possible?" Susan's mother also couldn't believe it. "Isn't that Xie Shao's position? Is this some kind of joke?"

Shaking his head, Susan's father said, "There's Zhao Group's official seal on it. How could it be fake? Who would dare forge an official seal? That's illegal."
