The sunlight shone into the room, where Kimimela and Ava lay. They hugged each other while they slept. Passed out from so much drink.

Kim yawned loudly, stretching her body and moving away from Ava. She opened her eyes slowly looking around. She breathed in and yawned again.

She took off her blankets and headed outside, leaving Ava alone.

"Abuela!" she called, holding her head. Her mother rushed out of the room holding a towel which was perfectly folded

"You and Ava... Gosh," she dropped the towel on the table.

"Good morning," Ava stepped out, breathing the fresh air.

"Why are you still here?" Kim asked, heading to the dining.

"Here? what do you mean?" Ava looked confused, blinking and thinking about what she meant by that.

"You live across, go to your place and stop sharing the bed with me" Kim opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water.

"What do you mean? even my mom stays here sometimes... Why must I be the one to leave? and besides, you don't own the place" Ava gawked at her, she narrowed her gaze to her mother smiling, but she didn't return it.

"Ahhh?" Kim looked at her.

"How did we get home last night?" Ava sat at the dining table. They both paused and looked at Lara— Kim's mother. She looks away avoiding eye contact with them.

"Now you're interested" Lara scoffed, shaking her head and clearing her throat.

"First of all, mom, where is Abuela?" Kim asked while she looked around the house"And Ava's mom?" Kim blinked.

"Ah, that... How could you drink so bad that you don't even remember who brought you home?" she came forward, slapping her arm.

"What! what do you mean who brought me home??" she laughed, Lara maintained a serious face letting her know she wasn't joking "It wasn't the police right?" Kim moved away.

"Or was it..." Ava gets interrupted.

"It was your boyfriend!" She yelled.

"My boyfriend?" Kim looked at Ava, she had only one man in her life before last night and one man her mother knew about... that was Miran.

"No way!" Ava moved backwards. "He flew to Mexico!" Ava opened her eyes wide.

Kim sighed, she had forgotten how persistent he would be.

"What if the last drink yesterday was from him?" Ava asked, Kim thought... since the sender didn't want to be known could have been him.

"Probablemente debería quitarme esto" Kim giggled while taking off her bikini top. (I should probably take this off). she recalled her event from last night.

"You were wasted!" Lara shook her head in disappointment.

"I wonder what he's doing in Mexico" She breathed in, getting up.

"He followed your grandma... to" Lara didn't get the chance to complete her statement.

"mamá!" Kim yelled knowing exactly what she was going to say, she dropped her bottle of water angrily, it wasn't her fault that she didn't know she had left Miran but she felt the need to shout.

"Don't raise your voice at me!" She gawked at her.

"Why did you let him stay?" Kim asked, rolling her eyes severally.

"Because he's someone I know... two days wouldn't kill us" Ava choked on her water.

"Two days?" Ava muttered and looked at Kim.

"Two? what? two days?" Kim choked, searching around the table for her water. Ava stood at her back enjoying the show that was bound to happen. She knew Miran would show up in Mexico and finally he was.

"Two days, he's gonna have dinner with us tonight" Lara clarified, "I am also grateful for him bringing you home... I asked if he was free and he said yes, he's such a sweetie" Lara giggled, and Ava followed after her silently.

"Hold up, why should he?" Kim stepped closer blocking her.

"There he is" Lara looked away from Kim, Ava and Kim quickly ran into their room shutting the door loudly.

Kim breathed in, leaning on the door.

"Why didn't you tell her you guys had broke up? Ava asked, side glancing at her.

"Not her, my Abuela... she would be disappointed" Kim sat on her knee, holding her head.

"Oh, he knows you so well," Ava chuckled.

"Whose side are you on?"

"Team Miran" Ava took her towel and headed to the shower.

"Hold up!" Kim stopped her.

"What?" Ava gawked at her.

"Team Miran doesn't use team Kim's bathroom"

"Are you serious right now?" Ava raised her brows at her.

"Yes, I am!" She closed her bathroom door, eyeing Ava.

"You know you're just been petty"

"Petty? I can't believe you... How do you side with my ex?"

"Do you really consider him your ex? or you're just taking a break"

"Of course I do!"

"Fine! just know you are also team Miran," Ava says, picking up her box and other belongings.

"I'm sorry, I am just frustrated and you ain't helping matters" Ava stopped, breathing in.

"Look, Kim... I understand... but Kim your happiness is mine and I can only see that when you're with him" Ava says.

"You're my happiness too" Kim pouts.

"Yeah, sure" Ava hugs her, rubbing her back.

"You can come out now... He couldn't stay" Lara walks in on them.

"He left?" Kim asked curiously.

"Yeah, he had an important meeting to catch up with"

"Yeah, he does," Kim said disappointed.

"Sweetheart, are you okay? Did you guys fight?"

"No mom, we are fine" She darts at Ava who stood with her towel eager to bathe.

Kim searched for her phone and picked it up, she unlocked it, and Miran had left a message for her.

Miran: Are you okay?" His message read. Kim toiled her phone to the bed sighing.

"Is that him?" Ava asked.

"Why won't he just leave me?"

"I can see you don't want him... I'm sorry" Ava cleared her throat, walking to the shower.

"Kim!" Lara screamed. Stepping out of the room.

"What mom?" she turned in her direction to find Pablo sitting on the couch.

"Hey?" She cleared her throat and tried to adjust her hair.

"I... I decided to stop by" He whispered, staring at her mom.

"mamá?" Kim called, giving her a sign to leave.

"Okay..." Lara smiled, stepping into the kitchen.

"About yesterday"

"It's fine...

"I'm sorry, I couldn't take you home... I don't know what happened, how did you..."

"Ah, my ex." She cleared her throat immediately, avoiding eye contact.

"Your Ex?"

"Yeah, it's a long story... I don't know how he was in Mexico..."

"He's a foreigner?" Pablo asked. Kim looked at him and nodded.

"I didn't know you dated..." Pablo laughed. Kim rolled her eyes; she couldn't believe he could laugh at that. "Oh, I am sorry," he says, seeing her reaction.

"It's fine... anyways thank you for yesterday" she breathed slowly.

"I didn't do anything" he looked around.

"For the drink" she cleared her throat, sounding hurt and pained.

"About that, I heard someone paid the bills, did you?"

"What? the bills were paid"

"Yeah, for us both, you didn't know about that?"

Kim's mouth opened and closed, she knew who had done that but now could she tell him it was her Ex again.

"No, I didn't... maybe Ava did"

"Okay then, I hope we could see later"

"That would be great" Kim breathed.

"Okay, then... Do you need my number?"

"Yeah," Kim says, she couldn't believe her ears, if he wanted her number he would have just asked for it. Pablo was different than fifteen years ago when she knew him.

He was much sweeter and romantic that was why he was her crush but unfortunately for her back then, Pablo had a girlfriend whom he cheered after they split up, he left for the states to further his studies and he's back now he is different.

Kim watched him leave, while she waved like a wife sending her husband to work.

"He's different right?" Ava's voice came from behind.

"Yeah, he is" She flung her hands around. "At the club yesterday, I saw the way he was staring at you,"

"At me?" Ava rushed forward.

"Yeah, with lust and hunger and... and... and it was just creepy... you know?" Ava shook her head, she had never had an interest in Pablo not even once.

"He's a guy, maybe"

"Well last night, he invited me to his place" Kim shook her head.

"What!!" Ava moved away, opening her mouth wide.

"Yeah, that's no sweet Pablo," Kim says.

"Girl, you gotta be careful"

"Yeah, you too... those eyes weren't yesterday... my gosh"

"He's gone" Lara stepped out from the kitchen, along with Abuela. They brought out a tray of food.

"Yeah, he is," Kim cleared her throat.

"Isn't that your crush from fifteen years back?" Lara's side glanced at Kim.

"Crush?" Abuela looked at her.

"You remembered?" Kim chuckled.

"Yeah, I do... I helped you write a letter once" Lara says but unfortunately those letters never got to him.

"What about that sweet one that came today?" Abuela asked Kim, smiling at her. Miran was indeed sweet.

"He's fine," Kim says, Ava and Lara looked at her, with their brows raised. Ava couldn't believe how much Kim intended on lying.

"Invite him to spend Easter with us," Ava's mouth opened.

"Food!" Ava interrupted. Kim sighed quietly looking at her, she knew exactly what Ava was doing and she was grateful.

"Oh, Ava... you smell so fresh" Abuela stretched her hands, helping her to the table.

"I need to shower," Kim says, walking into the room.

The doorbell rang

"I will get it!" Kim turned to get to the door.

"Flowers for Miss Cortes?" Kim froze, yes that was from Miran and she knew he was the only one who would send flowers to her. The delivery man was loud enough that her family must have heard.

"Flowers?" Lara rushed to the door.

"I got it!" Kim says, taking the flowers from the man.

"You just need to sign here" He hands her a receipt. Kim took it and signed.

She turned around and the door closed behind her, everyone stared at her silently.

"I will take this to my room" she forced a smile.

"Okay sweetie," Lara smiled, continuing with her business.

Kim rushed into the room, and dropped the flowers on her table, knowing he must have left a note. She picked out a pink card, he did leave one.

She took a deep breath before opening it.

"I love you Kimimela and I am not letting you go, Yours," The note said.

She couldn't understand why it made her happy, but she was, at least she needed that from him.

The moment she said no to his proposal, she needed him to hold onto her and that he was after weeks. Like Ava said she was also team Miran.

"Did he leave a note?" Ava barged into the room, Kim quickly hid it. "I saw that! let me see it"

"No," Kim blushed.

"You're blushing!" Ava smiled, shaking her head.

"No, I am not" she gulped looking at the flowers.

"Did he say he isn't letting you go?" Ava winked. Kim's smile faded. How could she get that quickly?

"How did you know?" Kim asked.

"I have watched too many dramas and books, don't kid me, Kim."

Ava took the notes from her, opening them. She nudged Kim severally as she read the note.

Kim looked away, her fear was coming to reality, Miran Mayer becoming part of her life fully. How could she start to let him in, she breathed in.

"Oh my gosh, sometimes I wonder if you were in a different world!" Ava says, dropping the letter.

"I am going to shower," she says.

"Yours!" Ava teased.

"Stop it!" she laughed, picking her hair in a ponytail.

Kim rolled her eyes at her, shutting the door, for a minute she had forgotten about Fatima but that wasn't her problem. She battled with how she was going to let him into her life then that was for the latter.

Kim smiled at the flash of memory, of the first time she had accepted to be his, but unfortunately, she didn't love him fully.

"I'm yours," she mumbled, not understanding herself.

"What's that?" he asked, he placed her head on his.

"I'm yours," she says, her breathing heavy and choked with pleasure. Miran chuckles, his lips grazing hers. He kisses her and loves the taste of her soft, almost silken, and pillowy lips against his. She meets his eyes, "I'm all yours." She says, running her fingers through his hair and Miran had always let her.
