Neglecting Me

Aiden's job has had him away from home a lot, we've had a numerous canceled dates, family time and reservations. I was understanding but it was getting worst and I was frustrated. Our phone calls were shorter and flirting and phone sex here and there were all we had not to mention I was dealing with my illness.

Aiden has been away for a month and even though he got back 2 weeks ago he was still at work everyday until wee hours in the morning. I was making dinner and got some help from Maria to make it as romantic as possible. I had bought a new red dress that I knew he would lose his mind over. Anna who we got to work in our home was taking care of Arielle as I got ready, it was 8:30 and Aiden should be here soon.

I was sitting at the table realizing I was being stood up again and I sighed. I ate my now cold dinner and drank my wine!

I wasn't angry anymore, I was tired! Tired of trying, tired of waiting and tired of the promises!
