"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
Attack Of The Krus
"Tell me what's happening," Kalia pressed without beating around the bush.
"I am detecting a large group of enemies. They are Krus."
Oh really? Is that what he meant by familiar smell? And why the hell were the Kru attacking them in the middle of Sacro territory? Were they coming for the princess?
"I thought Aladar was going to respect the treaty. I got confirmation from a good source." She said at last.
"Here is the short story: the Emperor favors the peace. However, there is a separatist faction that does not want the agreement. Our intelligence discovered their objectives. That is why I came personally to escort the fiancée. To catch and find out who they are."
Kalina felt herself getting angry.
