I'm really in the Doraemon!?

[Note: The system will make its appearance in Chapter 10.] As an average individual, I never imagined that the cliché trope of a truck, often seen in otaku culture, would be the means to transport me into a parallel universe. Initially, I believed that my new surroundings were merely another version of reality, a parallel world. However, much to my surprise, I found myself in the universe of Doraemon—a beloved anime and comic from my previous life. (Note: There will be some difference in novel's timeline and the canon, to have a stable pace. Due to the canon have inconsistent timeline in every episode since it's a kids comics and it almost have the same pace as Detective Conan.) (Read advance chapters in Patreon.com/NewComer714.)

Doraemon's delight knew no bounds as he devoured doriyaki after doriyaki, his focus firmly fixed on the delightful treats in front of him. The worries about Ken and his mom seemed to have faded into the background, replaced by the sheer joy of savoring the delectable pastries.

Meanwhile, Takeshi's attention was entirely captured by a succulent roasted duck. With a hearty tug, he separated a juicy leg and sank his teeth into its flavorful, tender flesh. His eyes closed in sheer culinary bliss, and his contented hum resonated through the air.

As for Shizuka, her manners momentarily took a backseat to the sheer pleasure of indulging in a strawberry-flavored cake. The sweetness of the cake was perfectly balanced, satisfying her taste buds and casting a brief spell over her sense of decorum.

Suneo, however, was confronted with a more delicate culinary challenge. Trembling with a mixture of anticipation and caution, he approached the Almas Caviar. The friends watched with bated breath, concerned that Suneo's actions might inadvertently dismantle the carefully constructed pyramid of caviar. The tension in the air was palpable as his every move seemed to hang in the balance.

Observing his friends' expressions, Ken's eyes twinkled with amusement. He fully grasped the nature of their worries and found their concern endearing. With a chuckle, he reassured them, "No need to handle the caviar as if it's a fragile treasure. It's just a culinary delight, nothing more."

A wave of relief swept through the group. Nobita, in his characteristic nervousness, couldn't help but seek further reassurance. "Are you sure it's alright if I take a bit?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Ken's smile radiated warmth and encouragement. "Absolutely, Nobita. Help yourself without hesitation."

Buoyed by this approval, Nobita's face lit up. With a joyful heart, he grabbed a plate and began to serve himself a modest portion of the caviar. Yet, Suneo couldn't suppress his inner caution. "Hey, Nobita, take it easy! Remember, this caviar is pretty high-end stuff."

Nobita's patience wavered for a moment as he shot Suneo an irritated glance. 'As if Suneo owns this caviar,' he thought with a hint of exasperation. Nevertheless, he opted to heed Suneo's advice and scooped up the caviar with gentle precision.

Takeshi joined the procession, taking his share of the delicacy. Suneo, on the brink of cautioning Takeshi's less-than-dainty scooping technique, was silenced by the fierce glare that Takeshi directed his way. All he could manage was an awkward smile, a silent acknowledgment of the unspoken understanding between them. Even Dekisugi and Shizuka followed suit, exercising a level of care and precision that befitted the rare treat before them.

Nobita's anticipation reached its zenith as he raised the spoonful of caviar to his lips. Its iridescent pearls glinted like tiny treasures, illuminated by the ambient lighting. With a sense of reverence, he placed the spoon in his mouth, allowing the caviar to cascade onto his taste buds. The sensation was nothing short of extraordinary—each individual egg burst with a smoothness that was almost otherworldly. The distinct interplay of buttery nuttiness and a subtle hint of brine created a harmonious symphony that danced across his palate. The finale was a creamy finish that left an indelible mark, as if the very essence of luxury had taken residence in his mouth.

In this enchanting realm of flavors, where taste transcended mere sustenance, a symphony of taste sensations flourished. The boundaries of taste were but mere illusions as they intertwined, creating a kaleidoscope of flavors that defied convention. Dear readers, brace yourselves for a gastronomic odyssey like no other, where taste buds become vessels for enchantment and the mundane transforms into the magical!

As everyone's gaze turned to Nobita, his reaction became the center of attention. Eyes widened in wonder as they witnessed Nobita's transformation. His unintentional moan of pleasure echoed through the air, a testament to the extraordinary experience he had just encountered. 'Is this what it feels like to live like the affluent?' Nobita's inner monologue pondered, as he savored both the caviar and the newfound sense of indulgence.

"Is it tasty, Nobita?" Takeshi's voice carried a mix of curiosity and amusement as he stared at Nobita, who wore a contented expression.

Suneo had been patient, reserving his portion of Almas Caviar until he had sampled several other dishes and desserts. However, seeing Nobita's reaction proved to be too much of a temptation. Unable to resist any longer, he decided to partake in the delight.

Nobita, lost in his own world of flavors, remained oblivious to Takeshi's question. It might have seemed a tad exaggerated, but it was as if the taste, texture, and the very value of the caviar had ensnared his senses. Perhaps, he was lost in a fantasy of opulence, briefly reveling in the illusion of wealth.

Takeshi, not at all fazed by Nobita's lack of response, leisurely scooped a caviar from the plate he had saved earlier. With a deliberate motion, he raised the spoon to his lips and savored the exquisite taste. Once done, he couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" His post-caviar expression mirrored Nobita's earlier state of wonder.

Witnessing Takeshi's reaction, the others felt compelled to follow suit. One by one, they indulged in their portions, and a sense of fascination overtook them. The symphony of taste, texture, and the consciousness of its extravagant price converged, momentarily rendering them lost in an ethereal trance.

Amidst this display of culinary enchantment, Ken observed with a mix of concern and amusement. He found their reactions a tad over-the-top, yet endearing in their own way. His gaze then shifted to Doraemon, who was immersed in a mountain of doriyaki, blissfully unaware of Nobita and the others' peculiar reactions.

Curiosity getting the better of him, Ken playfully nudged Doraemon. "Nobita! Leave the doriyaki for a while and try something else!"

Doraemon's response was unexpectedly protective, a tone of possessiveness lacing his voice. He instinctively moved to shield the doriyaki from Nobita's potential clutches. However, as his gaze landed on the person who had nudged him, his embarrassment was palpable. "Uh... Ken, hehe," Doraemon stammered, his cheeks turning a slight shade of pink. "What's up?"

"Hehe, no need to fret. The doriyaki has your name written all over it," Ken playfully ribbed Doraemon.

"Haha, my apologies for the confusion earlier. I momentarily mistook you for Nobita," Doraemon admitted, his unease evident.

"No hard feelings. It's just that Nobita and the gang seemed to be quite taken with that caviar," Ken shared, settling down next to Doraemon and gesturing toward the mesmerized group—everyone except Dekisugi, who had snapped out of his daze a bit earlier.

Doraemon's gaze lingered on the scene before him. Nobita's utter absorption in the luxurious dish painted a picture of sheer satisfaction. Perhaps, his thoughts were akin to, "Can you believe it, Mom, Dad? Your son just devoured something more expensive than our house!"

Shaking his head, Doraemon couldn't help but sigh, the sentiment captured perfectly in his muttered words, "Yare yare."
