"A sponsored adventurer party... I did hear that a mere newbie S Rank Adventurer Party had been sponsored by the 'Deity of Death' but to think they were just a bunch of kids

I haven't met the Hero, but he, who can slay a dragon and clear the whole Giant Tower in months is a being I acknowledge as strongest

Just what was he thinking when he sponsored these brats instead of someone more deserving...

He might have seen potential in you all but for me you all are disappointed..."

Kine's words sent shivers to Reus and everyone else present in the room felt shivers by his words

But no one was capable enough to deny his words and walk out of the room unscathed for a moment Klaus also noticed the change in air there

And Klaus also took a long look over Kine, he was observing him so that no uncertain moves happen in here resulting in casualties before the quest

But before anything could happen Kine walked out of the room, the other members of Flame Sword party just sighed

One of them walked up to Reus along with the other members and said

"Don't mind his words it's just that he is someone who deeply respects Lord Brahm,

So he might have felt a little disappointed seeing a newbie adventurers party being supported by him directly

Anyways do your best in quest, we will be leaving in a few minutes so everyone should get their gears and things prepared..."

After saying that she also left with others from Flame Sword party

"At least they don't seem like bad people..."

"It's just that the Kine guy might have felt a little jealous of you..."

"Hahaha! Ignore him let's get ready too!"

"Yeah right!"

After they left Reus and his friends started talking to avoid the extra tension in their minds

But just then Rion placed his hand over Reus's shoulders and said in heavy face and serious eyes

"Quite the man you are Reus, I never knew you had a background like that, you even kept such a thing secret from me too huh..."

"I never had such an intention-!"

Reus was about to go around explaining his way through but next moment eyes of Rion turned to that of pity and he continued

"But to think you will make the enemy out of Kine so fast, it is really amazing... I will be sure to visit your graves after finishing this quest..."

After saying that Rion and all other adventurers left the room with serious straight faces

Reus and his friends were left alone in the place with blank look over their faces and no light in their eyes

"Ahh~ we are fuoked~

"Looks like it..."

"Why does being privileged have so many side effects?"

"It looked easy for other nobles though..."

Everyone there commented with heavy hearts and dark future ahead visible in their eyes and just as expected things did go exactly as they had expected

In just a few minutes everyone was ready and Kine was standing in the middle of the magic circle with his party members which was made by the few mages gathered at hall inside Adventurers Guild

Other Adventurers walked inside the circle too, Reus was still watching the Kine giving him cold glare

It felt like he would kill them if they even tried to enter the magic circle, Rion passed by Reus and muttered

"I truly pity you Reus, it was nice having to meet you here in this world of mortals, just tell me the flowers you like before I visit your grave..."

After saying that he also entered the magic circle, Reus already had bad timing but after hearing that he just gulped his dry saliva just like his party and silently entered the corner of magic circle too

'Why is he so afraid even when he is getting sponsored by me, doesn't he give any trust over my name and presence?'

Klaus also sighed and next moment everyone participating in the quest got teleported way

Klaus also teleported himself away, the next moment everyone of them appeared between a forest

And in front of them were some fallen buildings buried under earth, everyone looked around in curiosity but next moment Kine once again commanded

"We have no time to waste in this quest, as I have said before, everyone will follow the plan and rules of quest

If you encounter something like a boss monster you just need to call us through this amulet and we will take care of the rest,

For now let's just enter the place and discuss other things later..."

Hearing Kine's command everyone followed him inside the Ruins, Kine led them to some kind of stairs leading to underground

Everyone entered the place, it was suddenly quite dark in there but everyone was already adapted to that kind of darkness

The glowing crystals were enough to be used as the light source to go ahead, everyone kept walking

There was an iry silence inside that place and everyone felt kind of uneasiness in there

But suddenly Kine sensed something inside the place and his sword being covered in red flames suddenly flashed for a few times inside the place

And before anyone else could even react they noticed some corpses of dead centipedes all around them

"Poison Centipedes... A Rank monsters from the start huh... Everyone get ready, there are hidden enemies ahead..."

Kine commanded everyone there and they tightened their grips over weapons and got ready for the monsters head

Next moment Reus also noticed something approaching from the left side and his sword also pieced through the head of another poison centipede

Rion saw that and gave Reus an acknowledging nod, everyone was alert from that point

And they kept walking ahead with cautiousness, as they went on they encountered few more strong assaults of the same kind of centipedes but thankfully no one was injured in there

"Seems to be the place we were searching for..."

Finally after various struggles everyone arrived in front of the place that divided the Ruins into five different parts

The place where they were was huge gigantic halls where they seemed to be nothing more than ants

"The old places were really amazing..."

"How did they even build this place?"

"Amazing"

"This is quite grandiose for a place that had turned to Ruins..."

Everyone there acknowledged the place, even though there were some cracks in grounds and walks and some things and places had collapsed

This place still signified the presence of some mysterious and developed past of this underground Ruin which collapsed with time

Kine observed the place and next moment he approached the centre of the hall and gave a nod to his other party members

His party members also went to a few corners of the centre part of the hall and placed a few hidden parts at the ground

Next moment whole ground shone in bright light, everyone was caught off gaurd at this reaction and became alert

Kine and others also watched the place with awe on face and right in front of their eyes just exactly five different portals appeared of 5 different colours

White, Blue, Green, Orange and last one being crimson red and looking most lethal among all of them

Kine came forward along with his team and stated

"This is the path for future exploration, all of you will be entering one of the portals individually but you don't need to worry about the uses of amulet, it will work wherever you are..."

Everyone nodded and looked at the portals there, Reus seemed to have forgotten the past in here

'This Kine guy... Seems like he isn't bad guy I was expecting, he just treated every one of us same and perfectly played his role of leader

I don't know why everyone was over reacting like that, he won't take any actions against us inside the Rui-?'

"Leaf Dawn Party will enter the red portal"

Reus had just started to have good impression of Kine but next words of Kine shattered all of Reus's thought process and imagination

And he remembered the cold look of Kine really fast inside that place, Reus looked upwards and noticed everyone was standing in front of a portal

They looked at Reus with pity on their eyes while only Kine was there standing in front of orange portal with a grin on face

Reus also noticed the red portal he was assigned to was literally screaming it was a bad news

There was an extremely imbalanced aura leaking from that portal and the presence of that red portal was far superior and fiercer compared to any other portal

Basically that portal was red flag that was assigned to his party by Kine

"An sponsered party won't have any difficulties handling such a simple task right?"

Kine asked Reus with an evil grin over his face, Reus also didn't seemed to have left with any sane choice now and he just nodded with heavy mood

"We will try our best..."
