103. ADVENTURER GOT THE COMBAT JOB! (3)

The hall had silence while Klaus had face of person who was very annoyed

Klaus glaced at Sania as his eyes released red mana in surrounding and he said "Can't you be more loud now!?"

And slapped her head with bunch of papers from the table, Sania came to her senses and while scratching her head she took out bunch of quest papers and said

"Oops can't avoid old habits just like that, anyways here are the quests I collected!"

Klaus ignored the gazes of the adventurers near him and looked at the quest papers

"Looks like he's handsome too..."

The mages of the party of the young noble said with red cheeks and drooling mouth, other females present in the hall also had same reaction

The young noble was now slaped twice on his face without any hand and now as the last attempt to avoid losing face as noble he said

"Beauty is on outside, what about his heart, he's definitely not as good as me, he's just a money hungry person!!"

But just then the 3rd slap came into his face as Klaus took the quest papers and Sania announced

"So you are taking quest of rescuing of wind cat from the forest, Flame boar subjugation, Poison wasp subjugation and Tier 6 Ice Horse capture!

These quests are quite a headache for us, not many took quests like these, the cat is of a kid, he didn't had much money so nobody took the quest

and that poison wasp subjugation also had low rewards because it was made by farmers nearby!"

Sania said these things loudly, Klaus felt it was weird and was about to leave, and the young noble's remaining self respect was now hanging on a thread now and

he said "... it's definitely because other quests have high rewards!" this time he was betting his all on it but just then

"Are you also taking that retried women with you to help her, should I call her?"

Sania called out to Klaus

Klaus looked at her then replied "No let her rest, it's not long since she recovered and didn't I tell you she will only dismantle for now, she has childrens!"

And this was the last blow for the noble guy, and on his forced smile a crimson liquid flowed out of his mouth, now no one even said anything

The reality hit him hard and right there his self respect and confidence completely broke

'How can I think of such a person who is taking care of sick mother like that, he's such a gently man I'm the bad guy, I don't deserve to live...'

With that Klaus made his way towards the exit and just then the healer of the party who had brown hairs and was quite young

He blocked the Klaus's way, Klaus looked at him from head to toe and thought 'Does he want to pick a fight or something?'

Klaus was about to do something but just then the healer took Klaus's hands and started shaking

"It's super nice to meet you! I never thought that I would be able to meet Deity of Death' here! Sir I'm your big fan,

I can't begin to describe how much I admire you! bla...bla....bla ..."

The party members of the Young noble guy and he himself along with Klaus were absolutely dumbfounded, then suddenly the assassin guy said

"Oh yeah, he also came from capital right? He always used to talk about him telling how cool this guy was!"

Klaus just stood there and kept hearing the healer praising him, fairies were also listening

"This guy is really like non stop taking machine!"

"He's praising Klaus more than he praised gods hehe!"

"Just when will he finish talking!"

Just then the healer finished what he wanted to say, Klaus slipped his hands away and said

"I'm truly glad that you admire me so much, but I'm in a bit of hurry then let's meet again!"

Klaus tried to slip away as he had a bad feeling but just then a voice stopped him

"Why don't you take this quest sir, you can just carry us around and we will just watch you quietly on you quests!"

It was same healer, now he was standing behind Klaus with the quest papers, Klaus looked at the papers and then his face

'If I reject the quest without any reason all the reputation I gathered till now will be washed to the shore, just why me?'

In low spirits Klaus took the quest that the young noble has just requested a while ago, Klaus glanced at the party and said

"Well if you guys are fine with it then follow me but I'm also new here so be warned!"

But despite confessing that he was new here nobody rejected Klaus and all if them just nodded to Klaus's words

Klaus also accepted his fate and put on his hood and left with the party

'I thought that will definitely work, just what's with these peoples here!'

Klaus thought on his way out Fairies also observed others and said

"It looks like all of them are your fans Klaus"

"Yeah me too!"

"Just look at those innocent eyes"

Klaus didn't bother to argue with them and moved forward, Klaus arrived outside the city and said

"I will be doing Poison wasp subjugation first, it will be sunset in 3 hours so we must move fast and complete all quests!"

"Hey, hey are you serious? All these quests are A rank, even if you are A rank solo Adventurer you are still human!"

This time it was assassin guy which had his face covered

Klaus smiled and said "Well that's how I do my quests, follow me if you can and you are talking as if you aren't human?"

"Well I'm not I'm a beastmen!" The assassin replied as he showed his cat ears removing the clothes..

Klaus looked shocked and said "Oh then sorry about that any ways let's get moving!"

Klaus said that and he started moving towards the village nearby the city

Klaus and others arrived at the village in about 45 minutes, Klaus moved towards a old man and said

"I'm the Adventurer who took the quest, can you tell me where the Poison Wasps are?"

The old man looked at Klaus and said with very happy voice "Did someone really took the request? Please come here, those wasp bastards attack our livestock and grains now and then

They are 50 meters away from here at their hives between those stones"

Klaus nodded and saw the other villagers gathering and said "We got no time to rest, please wait I will be back!"

Klaus didn't gave the old man chance to reply and along with others he rushed directly towards the rocky area

Klaus arrived there in just few minutes and a huge massive hive came to everyone's view

The mage commented "Those are poison wasps, they are C Rank but hive of this level is A rank,

It's poison is very deadly and it's weakness is fire so we have to be careful and help...!"

She was about to say more but just as the hive came to Klaus's view he moved like a lighting and then

Klaus moved like a flash and his hand with the sword blurred for a second and next moment the whole hive along with all of the wasps was cutted in half

"What are you guys talking about, collect the corpses it will be new experience and you can get familiar with threats you have in future!"

Klaus said that and moved towards the corner

The mage girl who was explaining got silent and after a moment she said " ... forget what I said overwhelming strength is a better option!"

And with that others who were still in which started moving and collecting the corpse even while their minds were in chaos and their common sense was breaking again and again
