Chapter 2: 5 years Gone

It's been two years and during these two years, I like to think I've adapted well to being Japanese and going to a Japanese school.

I've also been doing a lot of quests, nothing too huge, just playing with Taiga, helping out around the neighborhood and school, stuff like at.

During these past two years I found out Kiritsugu is a shitty cook. We had to only take out for few days, until I learned to cook.

Which earned me the Cooking skill, turns out I'm pretty damn good at it too. I was never this good at cooking and I never worked so hard to improve on something like this before. Guess fusing with Shirou came with some changes, even at such a young age.

I also took up Kendo and like fish to water, and I flourished, I think my Origin had play in it. And got Sword Mastery, which leveled up fast.

And you know the largest quest I got was getting Kiritsugu to teach me Magecraft earlier.

Which I completely failed. It took about the same amount of time to convince him. Though when he unlocked my magic circuits and counted them.

"What the hell is this?" said the magus killer wide eyed as his mouth gaped. "Is something wrong?" I asked need to ac confused.

"No I'm just surprised, Shirou have you seen your family doing anything strange like something you'd consider supernatural?" he asked but I shook my head.

"I see, well I guess I should explain."

Que one explanation on the age of Gods later and a lecture about being extremely careful. Honestly I really like the old man kinda wish Miyu-verse Shirou had a better relationship with his Kiritsugu.

Anyway I easily learned Projection and Reinforcement which became skills as you know. But it seems he's hesitant to teach me anything more, he almost seems conflicted.

I also also tried creating Tracing, I already knew the steps to create it, which are:

1.Judging the concept of creation.

2.Hypothesizing the basic structure.

3.Duplicating the composition material.

4.Imitating the skill of its making.

5.Sympathizing with the experience of its

growth.

6.Reproducing the accumulated years.

7.Excelling every manufacturing process.

The first four was easy but 5 through six was not, so It took a few months but I was able to get it, when I told Kiritsugu of this he was surprised and of course I'm gonna tell him, I need him to make me see I have potential, which could be cultivated, so he can teach me seriously if not, there's always Rin.

Though that didn't happen. He started leave on his 'business trips', I honestly now racked up enough points to travel to that zombie infested world by just helping out around the neighborhood though I want to go Phineas and Ferb first if because those two can probably build me something to travel dimensions.

Anyway I decided I'll start seriously training after Kiritsugu dies, right now I just want to live peacefully with the old man. I truly can't really see him as my Dad, he kinda reminds me of my older brother and sister.

Anyway a few week later and he's back, I just finished the latest episode of Dragon Ball Z. I don't need Subs, I'm above you harem loving mortals!

"Hey Kiritsugu can you tell me about what the mages world is like?" I asked him while eating dinner, Taiga wasn't here today.

"What brought this up?" he asked as he stopped. "I'm just curious it's just that from you only teaching me so little, I can guess it's pretty grim and dark place." I say as he handed me his rice bowl for seconds.

"....*Sigh!* Your right, I'd rather you didn't become any part of that world."

"I still want to hear some stories from your life though did you have a family?" I asked as I took another bite of some fish.

"Yes actually I do my parents passed away when I was young and I had a wife." said the magus killer as a sad smile graced his face.

"We even had a daughter together." he says.

"I have a sister?" I said surprised need to keep up the act. "Yes." I honestly kinda feel guilty if I brought up any bad memories, this man seriously needs a hug.

And like so I lived peacefully for the next few years, I was able to get him to teach a bit more seriously, at least I now know how to sense and setup bounded fields and stuff.

Anyway the time for Kiritsugu's death came, I could honestly see he led a life of regrets. Though when he spoke of his dream.

"I'm not sure about being a hero of justice, but I'll at least try to live a good life okay.....Dad." he smiled as he looked up to the sky.

"The stars looks beautiful tonight." he says with a smile as he closed his eyes and drew his last breath. I sat to there for a while as tears welled up in my eyes, I unconcious bit my lips.

I then went to call an ambulance, two weeks later we held a funeral.

It's been a month and Fuji-nee has been visiting more often, I've been a bit depressed, she even more than me. I already knew this was going to happen. Maybe I should've done something?

Looking at my status I couldn't help but sigh, no improvement what's ever the only time I even seem to be even able to surpass it is when I use reinforcement.

Though I do have some black keys from the gacha and two E rank swords. Everything else is great. I tried picking up some engineering and learning mechanical stuff I want create some mechanical weapons, using alternation.

I then opened the Event Tab seeing as I have no other choice.

"Yes." I answered this might be the ticket to getting stronger, for now at least I need the points to buy the High Human race. Being a normal person just doesn't cut it.
