Chapter Five: Daily Quest Completed!

"ALERT! ALERT! AN UNAUTHORISED SPACESHIP HAS BREACHED THE PLANET!SHELTER ONE IS UNDER ATTACK, WAITING FOR ORDERS TO SHOOT!"

A voice from several speakers could be heard, notifying everyone of the danger that approaches.

"Fire at will!" Xanny shouted as she diverted the bullets coming for her with her telekinesis ability.

The first shot of the enemy's bullets went straight for Xash's head, but he suddenly saw the bullets divert and hit him on the right arm.

"Argh!"

Xanny heard Xash scream and as she looked to her side, she saw Xash on the floor, bleeding.

Although Xash didn't think much about the bullet diversion, he thought he was lucky he didn't get shot on the head.

"Xash!" Xanny called out for him as she crawled towards him.

[ -5 HP ]

[ HP: 995 points ]

[ The user's HP has decreased by five, activating healing ability Level 3 ]

[ … ]

[ … ]

Bullets from the wound started coming out of his arm and after a few seconds,… down laid three bullets.

Xash felt a little bit relieved after the bullets were removed but the wounds were putting him in a discomfort.

"Fuck! I can't believe wounds here hurts just like in real life."

[ Healing all wounds… ]

[ … ]

[ … ]

[ Wounds has been healed ]

[ HP: 1000 points ]

Xanny's mouth was open widely as she saw the bullets and wound heal up in just a few seconds.

Xash was known to have no ability, and it was because of this he wasn't made a leader despite their father have twelve planets.

He was laughed at and mocked by his step siblings before he eventually left for Planet X, where he currently is.

"H-How did you do that? Did you…" Xanny stuttered, unknown to her that someone was at her back.

"Watch out!" Xash shouted, throwing the bullet that came from his wound at the enemy approaching them.

[ Critical point hit: Skull ]

The bullet went straight for the Man's head, killing him on the spot.

"Thanks." Xanny said.

Xanny looked towards the sky. The spaceship was now visible to everyone. And on the side of the ship was the name Ace written.

"Ace Faction! They came from the Ace Faction!" Xanny shouted and immediately, soldiers from all corners started rushing out to take down the spaceship.

While the Ace Ship attacked by shooting at things it targets, soldiers from the ship teleported into the shelter and started destroying whatever came their way.

"Someone should stop those Ace Faction soldiers!" Xanny instructed.

'Ace Faction? That's the Protagonist's Faction. I can't believe he already has me as his target on my first day.' Xash thought, a little bit excited and relieved.

Although he suspected that the protagonist might not be in the ship, he thought of testing out his ability. That will prepare him ahead of the time he will have to fight the protagonist.

He lifted himself off the ground and muttered something.

'System, show me my status.'

[ Name: Xash Megan ]

[ Race: Human ]

[ Level one ]

[ HP: 1000 ]

[ Ability: Strip Ability (User will be able to steal others abilities for himself. Two minutes per duration of each ability. Refreshing time of one minute. Level up further to increase the duration time) ]

'This Ability is quite the best I've ever seen. I can defeat the protagonist by stealing his ability. He will be powerless once I do that.' Xash smirked devilishly.

[ Stripped abilities: Healing ]

'Healing? That's the only ability I've stolen?'

Xash looked towards his right; towards the group of soldiers that were attacking the protagonist's spaceship with their abilities.

[ Target: Alex, Ability: Fire ]

"You'll do." Xash smirked to himself as he walked towards one of the planet's soldier and placed his hands on the side of his head.

In just a second of placing his hand on the soldier, everything was completed. It was just a light tap, so no one suspected anything.

[ Stripping Completed, Fire Ability level 5 obtained ]

"What? What's happening?" The soldier realised that he could no longer bring out fire from his hands.

[ Daily Quest Completed: Engage in a Villainous act ]

[ 15 Exp granted ]

[ Exp: 15/100 ]

'Sorry buddy, your ability got into the better hands.' Xash ran towards a group of Ace soldiers and burned them before they could launch any attack on him.

"What? Xash has a fire ability?" Xanny was surprised as she watch Xash kill the Ace soldiers with a just few blast of his fireballs.

"Was he pretending all this time?" Some of Xanny's soldiers said after seeing him kill the soldiers with fire ability.

"Isn't he the guy we were told to protect at all cost? I thought he had no ability?" Another said.

"That's the first son of the Villain leader, he was useless among the others for not having abilities. But how come he has one now?"

"Shut your traps and focus on taking down the ship. There's no way our perimeter could be breached unless there's an hacker in that ship. I need him alive at all cost." Xanny said.

"Yes leader!"

Just then, the spaceship shooting at the soldiers suddenly stopped as it flew towards a direction.

"Leader! The ship is headed towards the second shelter!"

"What are you waiting for, Chase after them!"

"That's the problem leader, they already have our ships damaged with bullets! They are malfunctioning and won't start." The soldier reported.

"What?!" Xanny shouted.

"That explained why they came here first. Their original aim was the second shelter where there are limited soldiers. They had to attack us before heading to the second shelter."

"Who will save the shelter now? Our ships has been damaged, we can't get to the shelter in the next twenty minutes on foot." Another soldier lamented.

"There's only one way." Xanny eventually said. "Call for those with teleporting abilities."

"But there are just two of them, both at level ones."

"I don't care, they should be strong enough to teleport a few strong soldiers to the shelter. Do it now, quick!"

"Yes Leader!"

Xanny sighed.

'I wonder where Xash is.'

While fighting the Ace Soldiers, Xash managed to steal two more abilities. One was a levitation type of ability while the other was invisibility.

[ Levitation Ability level 6 and Invisibility Ability level 4 obtained ]

[ New Quest! ]

[ Destroy the Ace Spaceship before it destroys the second shelter ]

[ Reward: 100 Exp ]

Xash saw that the spaceship had stop shooting and was retreating back to the air.

There are still some of the Ace soldiers on the ground. Some were attacking the Planet X soldiers while the rest were making their way towards Xash.

"That goddamn protagonist!"

He was about to launch fire balls at the enemies that a notification pop up in front of him.

[ Fire Ability two minutes duration used up. Cooling off time begins ]

"Fuck!"

The fire ability had reached the two minutes duration time.

Without wasting any more time, Xash switched to the invisibility ability as he turned invisible and activated the levitation ability at the same time.

He chased after the spaceship midair till he eventually catch up and entered into it.

Still in his invisibility form, Xash made his way towards the cockpit. He had to walk silently so as to not alert the soldiers of his presence.

The ship was large and there were a lot of soldiers inside and even though he was walking as silent as he could, he made sure he didn't slow down due to the invisibility ability nearing its limit.

The invisibility ability could go off at any time and if he gets seen, that means trouble.

After passing through majority of the soldiers, he eventually got to the entrance leading inside the cockpit.

'Finally!' He said to himself.

Although there are still a few soldiers standing at the cockpit entrance. He just have to sneak past them with his invisibility ability.
