YoYo Day Care's Big Move

Recently, a new resident arrived at the Ecopark's Shallow Beach – It was a Politoed. 

It settled down at the central lake of Island No. 1, and becoming neighbors with the Poliwrath.

Although it was born in the wild, Politoed had a relatively gentle temperament. 

So, not long after moving in, it quickly formed good relationships with the other Pokemon like Slowbro, Slowking, and Blastoise, etc.

However, Politoed possessed a unique trait – that is, it has the ability to command Poliwag and Poliwhirl, especially with its cry that had a significant deterrent effect on Poliwag and Poliwhirl.

Although both of them is the evolutionary forms of Poliwag and Politoed, the Poliwrath don't have this particular trait. 

In a group of Poliwag and Poliwhirl, if there were both a Politoed and a Poliwrath, then the one who hold the leadership role would undoubtedly be the Politoed.

This racial trait is very similar with the dynamics among Slowpoke, Slowbro, and Slowking. 

Both Politoed and Slowking held absolute leadership within their respective communities, and it was rare to find both Politoed and Poliwrath coexisting in the same colony.

Although Politoed's leadership didn't directly affect Poliwrath, the latter found Politoed's cry was extremely irritating. 

Despite the Poliwrath's behavior has been changed after entering the Ecopark, there remained a rebellious spirit deep within its heart.

Having come from an unknown island, the Poliwrath, who had always fought for survival, was vastly different from the wild Pokemon residing near human towns. 

Making it to submit to its racial instincts seemed nearly impossible.

It would be okay if it had lived in a group before, but it has always been alone.

Did Poliwrath take the wrong medicine?

Poliwrath's baseless provocation against Politoed received criticism from all Water-type Pokemon in the Shallow Beach Sub-Ecopark, including Gyarados, Blastoise, and Slowking. 

Especially Gyarados, who still vividly remembered Poliwrath's lecherous behavior towards Milotic when it first arrived in the Ecopark.

The Politoed's level was not high, and facing the Pseudo-Elite level Poliwrath naturally put it at a disadvantage, which consequently, it received support from other Pokemon.

No matter how arrogant Poliwrath was, it couldn't withstand the combined efforts of multiple Pokemon at the same time.

Although Poliwrath was rebellious and headstrong, it was not the one who like to persist in a disadvantageous situation. 

Its character lacked the stubbornness to endure losses, and when given a chance to seek support in adversity, it would not hesitate to take it.

After listening to Poliwrath's complaint, Yuga was astonished: "Didn't you ask me to find you a wife? I found one for you, and now you're bullying her?"

After saying this, Yuga felt a little bit guilty. 

Poliwrath had indeed asked for a partner to him, but he had turned around and forgot about it. 

He just realize it after he heard Poliwrath complaint about Politoed, so he hastily improvised and tell Poliwrath that it was its Wife – after all, Politoed was a female, and they were of the same species, so they would be good match.

However, Poliwrath was unaware of this fact and was utterly petrified upon hearing Yuga's words.

Wife... a wife...

If it had known that Politoed was supposed to be its wife, it wouldn't have caused any trouble! 

Who wouldn't want a wife? 

It didn't have many requirements; as long it was a female that would be enough.

In the past, the Poliwrath used to find fault with the Politoed, but now, upon hearing Yuga say that it was meant to be its wife, it suddenly found everything about Politoed adorable and lovely.

Looking at the shattered expression on the Poliwrath's face, Yuga pretended and said, "You brought this upon yourself, so you have to solve it on your own."

Upon hearing this, Poliwrath burst into tears and asked Yuga how it could win back its wife.

Poliwrath stood almost as tall as Yuga, with thick and muscular arms. Yuga, fearing it would break his waist, so he hastily pushed it away, and saying, "No hugging... I can't help you with this. You have to figure out how to appease her by yourself."

In the end, Poliwrath had no choice but to leave in despair, realizing that the road to winning back its wife was long.

After returning, Poliwrah changed its previous sharp and sarcastic attitude. 

It became incredibly considerate and obedient to politoed. 

Everyone thought it had taken the wrong medicine, but due to the poor first impression it gave to Politoed, it seemed unlikely for them to have any results in the short term.

After successfully fooling Poliwrath and sending it back, Yuga met Koichiro in the store.

That day after he leaving the YoYo Day Care, Koichiro come back with a response in the next day. After discussing it with his family, they decided to agree to Yuga's proposal.

Koichiro's visit today was to deliver the promised Magikarp to Yuga and take away the Beautie Pokeblock and Extender Pokeblock that Yuga provided.

After inviting Koichiro into the store, Yuga asked, "Have you brought the Pokemon?"

Koichiro nodded, saying, "Yes, they are all in the truck outside."

In addition, the previously listed Trapinch, Gligar, various Grass-type Pokémon, Carvanha, Clauncher, Ponyta, Vullaby, and Misdreavus were unified to be sold as one green potential individual per month. 

The newly added Feebas, Magikarp, Horsea, Togepi, along with the previously listed Swablu and Medidite, were unified to be sold as one green potential individual once every two months.

Because Caterpie and Weedle can be purchased and almost guaranteed to evolve to their final stages, with low breeding costs and quickly developed combat power, they are an ideal choice for many trainers who are not very wealthy during their novice period.

Buying a Feebas or Magikarp and raising them for several years or even more might still result in just a Feebas or Magikarp, making it not worth the effort.

However, with the introduction of Beautie Pokeblock and Extender Pokeblock, this is no longer an issue. 

The value of Feebas and Magikarp will naturally increase, as who wouldn't want a Milotic or Gyarados!

With the recent price increase by Yuga, many Day Cares are likely to realize the potential of Feebas and Magikarp. 

They might even consider prioritizing the breeding of Feebas and Magikarp.

Compared to other Pokémon, the breeding costs for Feebas and Magikarp are much lower because both species have a robust vitality, they can surviving even in shallow water puddles.

Of course, breeding low potential Feebas and Magikarp is not very meaningful, as the prices of Beautie Pokeblock and Extender Pokeblock determine that it's not easy to sell low potential Feebas and Magikarp.

Breeding high potential Pokémon is not something that can be accomplished overnight, especially when others don't have Innovation Potion. 

Although Innovation Potion is now available for public purchase, the limited monthly supply makes it inaccessible for most people.

Despite the buzz on the internet, Yuga speculates that his Magikarp and Feebas may not sell easily in the short term. 

People are still observing the effects of Beautie Pokeblock and Extender Pokeblock, even though the likelihood of YoYo Day Care deceiving customers is very low.

However, Yuga overlooks one thing: he has the support of the Pokémon League. 

While the business of Beautie Pokeblock and Extender Pokeblock is unrelated to the League, the trust in Yuga and YoYo Day Care has skyrocketed with the success of Innovation Potion.

After the announcement of YoYo Day Care's plans, even though the effects of Beautie Pokeblock and Extender Pokeblock have not yet been fully demonstrated, the Pokemon Day Cares of all sizes have collectively increased the prices of the Magikarp and Feebas they hold.

Togepi is exceptionally rare, much like Ralts and Riolu. 

Encountering one is already fortunate, let alone having it available for sale every two months.

Yuga priced Horsea at 400,000, while Togepi price is set at 600,000, making it the highest-priced Pokémon among the high potential Pokémon available at YoYo Day Care.

Despite Togepi's high price, there's still many trainers who were eager to secure a reservation slot after noticing the new announcement on the official website. 

This move made by YoYo Day Care garnered a lot of attention, and many loyal customers eagerly awaited their chance to reserve at the beginning of the month.

This time, YoYo Day Care made significant moves, not only introducing four high potential Pokémon at once but also increasing the monthly sales limit for some Pokémon. 

This means that YoYo Day Care will sell at least 11 high potential Pokémon in a month, and that was something most Pokemon Day Cares can't achieve.

YoYo Day Care gained fame in just a few years. 

Due to Yuga's big actions, the system determined at the beginning of the month that Yuga had completed a hidden mission — rising to prominence. 

As a reward, Yuga received a new Pokeblock formula, a universal formula for Normal-type Pokémon.

With this new Pokeblock formula, Yuga now only lacks formulas for Electric-type and Fighting-type Pokémon.

The newly acquired Pokeblock formula was named "Communication Node" by Yuga and handed over to Misaki and the others.

He bought all his Pokémon-related items, such as Pokeblocks and incense, through online shopping at YoYo Day Care.

Although his initial Pokémon was just a yellow potential Breloom, money was not an issue for him after his family became wealthy. 

Therefore, Ogata always wanted to reserve a high potential Pokémon at YoYo Day Care.
