Horcrux Hunt

(third POV)

After lending not to far from the snake mage, Klaus gets to look him over. The Mage is wearing green robes, his hair and eyes were black as void ,and his skin has a sickly color.

Klaus telekineticly picks up debris left by basilisk passing towards Diana, and launches it at the mage.

As debris flies at him, mage hits the ground with his staff rasing a shield. Then mage yelled something, and green flames in shape of a snake fly towards Klaus.

As flames fly towards him Klaus created a shield that split the snake in two parts, sending it on both sides of himself.

While flames fly by his sides Klaus used telekinesis to slow down the molecules around him and freeze the flames, telekineticly he turned the ice into ice spears and shut them at the mage.

Klauses ice spears were met by green fireballs halfway through. Steam that was created Klaus used to obscure mage view. Using illusions he made it look like there was more steam, and at the same time he transfigured some of the debris around him into lions and sent them at the mage.

As mage noticed the lions and transfigured things around him into snakes that attacked the lions, Klaus sent the blade form his cane around the mage hidden behind an illusions that made it invisible.

While the mage was preparing a spell Klauses blade made it behind him. When mage launched his cutting spell Klaus created a shield, and at the same time he pulled his blade launching it through mages throat, killing him instantly.

Klaus could see surprise in mages eyes as he fell forward, but after few seconds from mages body rose a skull of black smoke, and flew away while screaming.

(Klaus POV)

"Well that was new! I guess that is what happens when you make a horcrux, better destroy his body." and I did so.

'I will have to see if that horcruxe is somewhere around here.' I pull out a monocle, and put it at my eye.

This monocle is one of my favourite creations, it works in similar way as heat vision goggles, but for mana. They are capable of seeing high concentration of mana in a place, and while mana is everywhere enchanted item hold big concentration of it.

I already used my telepathic and telekinetic senses to make sure Diana is okay. After finding out she had killed the basilisk, I telepathically told her to stay put while I make sure there aren't any traps, and try to find the horcrux.

After a while I got lucky. I found a door that was enchanted to hell and back. It took me few hours, Diana joined me while I was working at braking through.

When I was done we entered the room slowly "Well horcrux is definitely there." I say as I point at a skull that was put on a podium in the middle of the room.

There was nothing else in the room except the horcrux. "Well I guess we got lucky, he was probably born here or something. Horcruxe have their own rules. They must stay in a place significant for the creator or with a person significant for them, and they must be created in something creator feels is valuable to him."

After explaining that I levitate the skull into a bag I pulled out of my extended pouch. I say "Let's go back home, your mother can destroy this, and I need to sand people to put new portkey ward stones over Balkans."

After we got back home funeral for the hybrid that died was organised, Lily destroyed the horcrux, and Diana sent some of her hybrids to set up new ward stones.

We brought home basilisk Diana had killed, and Lily and I decided to experiment on it a bit. After we found out how useful it can be, witch is not much. It can be used in potions to make petrifiecation potion, and it will come handy in some rituals.

After this episode was over Lily and me returned to our work while Diana went back in search of magical creatures.
