He knew all along?
Yu Yan smiled brightly, sprinting along the side walk like a kangaroo. The thought of going to that lonely penthouse made her sad, however, she would choose that a million times than facing Gu Jingze and his battalion.
Now that she thought of it, he suddenly showed up at her workplace, could he be that he's stalking her?
"Creep." She murmured, yet her cheeks were blazing hot, full red in color. Suddenly, she burst into an adorable fit of giggles. Almighty Gu was pursuing her.
Oh, if she wouldn't give him a tough time. She then, suddenly realized that she shouldn't be like this. Where was her tough exterior? Why was she like this anytime it comes to Gu Jingze? She was supposed to stay away, not encourage him.
She bit her lips thinking about his handsome face. He was so perfect, he was like an immortal.
Gu Jingze stared at the little temptress in front of him. Wasn't she running anymore? As he moved closer, he saw her eyes closed, that lower plump pink lip trapped between her teeth, as a smile splayed across her face.
He suddenly knew he was done for. As he forced his mind to stay calm, he felt his lower region betray him. He thanked God silently that he made his friends stay at the parlor and order ice cream.
His Adam apple bobbed as he took in a large gulp of saliva. Was she doing this on purpose? He doubted it, she hasn't even seen him yet. He looked at the glistening pink lip that was held captive between those sparkling set of white teeth.
It was as though it was pleading to him to release it. As if he wouldn't get lots of happiness doing that, freeing the poor bottom lip and sucking on it till it was alright. He didn't know when he licked his own lips hurriedly.
He forced himself to remember what he was after and closed the gap between them. She wasn't escaping anymore.
As he stood in front of her, he cleared his throat. Yu Yan jumped and screamed out loud. Without even looking, she grabbed her satchel and started to pound on the stranger's head repeatedly.
"Hey, miss.... stop it.... God.... Miss,...." The man yelled making no move to stop her from beating him. She raised her eyes and saw Gu Jingze standing in front of her. She suddenly stopped and heaved a sigh of relief. Why did he have to creep up on her like that?
Her cheeks flamed as she remembered all the thoughts running through her mind, few seconds ago. Who had she suddenly become? She wouldn't give in to him, not in her present life. She was danger, she spelt danger. She turned to him with a stone cold gaze.
"Sorry for creeping up on you. I wanted to ask a question? Are you going somewhere? " Gu Jingze asked. He was met with a blank cold stare. He smiled internally. This time around, she was falling into his trap. He knew what he wanted and he was going to get it.
"You seem a lot like Yu Yan, you don't talk too?" He asked and he saw her eyes widen for a second. If his whole soul wasn't already captivated by those pretty light brown eyes, he wouldn't have even noticed.
Yu Yan started to think deeply. She couldn't get caught hence, she had to act as though she wasn't Yu Yan, to get him off her back at least, for some time.
"I talked to you earlier " She replied, not longer faking her voice.
Gu Jingze smiled. His heart leapt up and started drumming wildly against his chest. He had already fallen in love with her eyes. What was this thing her voice was doing to him? It made him feel happy, at ease and most especially, at home.
That was all he wanted in the first instance, to hear her talk. Now that she had talked, he had become a greedy dog. He wanted more, he needed more. That voice, it didn't even have a trace of coldness in it. He wanted to hear it again.
"Are you a bit close to Yu Yan?" He asked, secretly moving a bit closer. If he were a cat, his ears would have been up, straight, firm and at alert, trying to capture every sound signal it could get.
Yu Yan almost snickered. She wanted to know what he was up to. She had tricked almighty Gu again. She was completely unaware that she was being fooled and used for someone else's personal motives.
"Yes, we're a bit close. You have something to tell her?" Gu Jingze smiled internally. Is this what love feels like? Falling deeply for everything about that person? He wished she could return just a bit of love to him too.
"Ermmm... actually, it's a bit embarrassing."Gu Jingze would do anything to keep the conversation going. He feigned awkwardness and rubbed his neck, looking adorable. Yu Yan almost melted at the sight. Why did she suddenly feel the deep urge to pinch his cheeks?
She imagined someone secretly taking a picture of her doing that. It would make the school headlines; Ice Witch getting cozy with Almighty Gu.
She felt her mind swirl, her entire body getting warm. She cursed at her heart.
'Damn you, you're meant to pump blood, not cause problems for me. ' Out of curiosity, with a big smile, she said;
"You can tell me anything. Don't be embarrassed." She looked at Gu Jingze closely and saw him smile and move closer to her. He licked his lips, as he tipped her chin up and smiled again.
"Tell her, I want to kiss you, Yu Yan." He said, his dark eyes digging deep into her soul. Yu Yan's breathing ceased as she unconsciously licked her lips too. She felt hot all over.
He wants to kiss her,
Almighty Gu wants to kiss her,
Kiss her,
Tell her,
He wants to,
Yu Yan? She recalled he mentioned her name. Suddenly, a cold sweat trickled down her face, washing down some of the ugly make-up.
