I bit my lower lip as we took the longest elevator ride in the history of elevator rides ever.
A few minutes ago Taylor informed us that the car was ready and there was a throng of reporters and paparazzi waiting outside the hotel. They had been baited by a rumor that Alexander and I had stayed the night, together.
It seemed that it was such big news that added security needed to be brought around, something that caused a slight delay.
"Are you ready?" Alexander asked as he took my hand in his, interlocking our fingers, my engagement ring, visible to everyone.
It wasn't exactly difficult to miss such an obnoxiously large diamond, especially one as rare as what my ring had.
"I am, I guess," I said as I tried to calm my nerves.
I wasn't worried about the press.
