Chapter 6: Monster Talent and Nen Category

A/N: As you decided, the chapters will be twice the length or more. The frequency of updating will reduce to once a day, twice if I wrote more. I will try to write an auxiliary chapter about the whole family and upload it.

'what a monster….' That was the only thought in everyone's mind.

'Not bad, Not bad at all, He learned Ten and Zetsu by himself to a mastery level in a few minutes…' thought Xeno to himself.

Geno remained in this state for some time before opening his eyes. When he opened his eyes, everyone could see his eyes, hair, and aura changing before returning to normal. They saw his normal blood-red-pupil eyes then saw his pupils turn black like a black hole with completely red hair and intensified aura. His pupils' color changed again to golden, this time with a completely pure silver hair. His aura's type also changed like a completely different concept.

After all this, he returned to his normal self. Geno could see the shock and amazement. He felt like waving his hands and taking a picture of their expressions.

"*Ahem, ok everyone, Focus, and Geno, I will teach you the basic principles of Nen. I am sure you will get them fast, seeing you already mastered two of them." Said Xeno to everyone waking them up from their daze, then turned to Geno.

"Ok, first there is Ten. Here, you control the flow of your aura, enveloping your body, and prevent it from leaking out. Second, there is Zetsu. Here you close your aura nodes completely and prevent any aura from flowing outside. Seeing you have already done this, I will tell you it's cons and pros. It makes you vulnerable, as you already sensed, but it sharpens your senses to the highest degree, and it's a must for advanced principles. Third, there is Ren. Here you expand your aura and try using it for as much time as you can. You keep using Ren to extend the time and your aura, that you can use Nen continuously also a must for the advanced principles. Finally, there is Hatsu. Here you depend on your understanding and presentation of Nen principles, although it's influenced but not restricted by the user's Nen category, one of six categories. Hatsu takes your understanding and desire and transforms them into paranormal abilities intercept as Nen abilities." Continued Xeno dumbing information to his GG-grandson.

"There is a way to check the Nen category called water divination. But let's not skip Events and start with your Ren first. Use you Ten and then expand your aura as much as you can." Ordered, Xeno instructing Geno.

Geno nodded and concentrated for a second, then his aura expanded and enveloped the whole room like a black hole trying to expand its size.

Everyone felt their heart drop. They felt their aura escaping their bodies and absorbed by Geno. They left the room and waited outside to see what would happen.

Geno kept his Ren for an hour and didn't seem to be tired at all. The whole family felt their jaw drop and kept staring at him, this time like he was a real monster when Xeno had wide eyes and didn't know what to think.

"Father, how is this possible? Isn't this his first time?" Xander asked his father the question in every member's mind.

They all looked at Xeno and awaited his answer.

"I think his aura has absorption ability," said Xeno.

After hearing the answer, they didn't know what to think anymore.

After two hours, Geno started to sweat, but it seemed he still could go on. After another hour, he started breathing rigidly. A few minutes later, Geno stopped. He felt tiredness seeping through his body and nearly losing consciousness.

'Three hours. After some years of continuous training, I think Geno could keep his Ren for the whole day, maybe even more." Thought Xeno, impressed by his GG-grandson.

"well done, Geno. You did great. Now let's try water divination to figure your Nen category, although I think it is obvious." Said Xeno to Geno while signaling the Butler, Edd, to prepare everything.

The Butler brought the water, and Xeno signaled Geno to use Ren.

Geno nodded and came to close to the water and started using Ren when suddenly the leaf multiplied to three leaves. The first leaf stayed at the center of the water. The second kept growing in size on top of the first. The third withered and vanished completely and Geno could feel as if it was absorbed by him.

" specialist, huh. Not bad." Said Xeno while tasting the water, then said "and a part-time transmuter."

Geno tasted the water and asked," so what is my ability exactly?"

His grandfather, Leonard, came from behind and put his hand on Geno's shoulder and said, "you will have to figure it yourself, little Geno."

"ok, Geno. I will leave you with the rest to catch up for the whole week then I will start training you personally. The rest of you, you should also give the family of three sometime to catch up." said Xeno instructing everyone, then left the room.

"Ok, Geno. Have some rest, I will see you later." Said Xander with a soft smile.

"I will see you later, little one," said Leonard while leaving with his wife.

The rest of the family looked at each other then left reluctantly, leaving only the family of three in the room.

Geno spent the rest of the week with his family. He didn't leave his mother's side. Geno had longed for this moment for a very long time. He listened to the stories his mother told him and about how she imagined her lovely son when she was pregnant. Geno followed his father and learned about family businesses. He played with his cousins and spent a lot of time with his uncles and aunts, especially Lola.
