Chapter 16: New Beginning

After a few days later we met again at the same ruins where both Baise and Kastro continues to train themselves. Today is going to mark a new beginning, a step forward with all kind of plans i have and things to achieve in this world. I gathered them together and said

"I am starting a group where a group of talented individuals are gathered together to advance our ideals. Our ideals vary from time to time depending upon on the time and other unknown variables. The name of our group is called " THE ORDER OF SECRET SOCIETY" ."

There was a confident smile when i told out the name of the group. Both Baise and Kastro were also happy to know that there is some kind of adventure ahead and belonging where they can possibly call it a home or a place for comrades.

After a while i picked up a deck of cards from my pocket and asked both of them to come up and pick them up by the order you joined alongside with me. Baise came up and picked a card and she told us it was written " The Lovers" . Similarly Kastro picked a card as well and his turned out to be " The Star".

I told them that this is their code name and they shall address each others by their code names. I told them that they are also rules to be followed once you become formal members of group.Both of them vehemently agreed to follow the rules and were excited for this new beginning.

I explained the rules they must follow.

First, thou shall not speak about " The order of secret society" to anyone other than the members. Second, thou shall not kill innocent human beings. Thirdly, fight among members are not allowed, any issue regarding decisions between members should be resolved by playing " Rock, paper & scissors ". Fourth, thou shall not steal and plunder.

These are the few rules you need to follow if you want to join the group. I hope its clear to both of you.Then with determination and future prospects i declared that both Miss Lovers and Mr Star and myself are the founding members of the order.

The members of the group will be paired always either for a mission or when venturing around the world. Looking out for each other is always better than operating alone.I also mentioned to them that getting stronger and recruiting stronger members is a mission that never ends. Future candidates can be recommended to me but taking the decision to include them will be decided by me.

Miss Lover asked me what was my code name and i told

" You can address me as Mr World".

I will bring out the Fool later which is the beginning and end is World in the major arcana tarot cards. I mentioned to them both about some unique nen categories especially about parasitic nen beasts. I also mentioned to them about potential nen exorcist who can remove certain curses which are placed on someone using nen. When such curses are placed on a nen user they would not be able to use nen unless they are removed. Also remember the curses placed by nen user can vary as well. There are fewer than 10 people in the entire world who are powerful enough to exorcise nen curses left by the dead. Exorcism often, if not always, imposes negative conditions on the nen user who performs it.

One of the goals we have is to find a member who has nen exorcism as their main ability. With that i decided to conclude the first and inaugural meeting of the order of secret society. Today being February 8th of 1998 marks an important milestone in my journey to find what my fate lies in this world.
