Chapter 105 : Reinforcements!!

Franklin grinned, feeling a bit of relief from the pain in his broken left arm.

"Feitan, he's about to break!"

"You don't need to tell me," Feitan replied, slashing out with his "Nen Blade" to push back Germain's counterattacks. He smiled wickedly, "I know!"

Feitan, a "Transmuter," had strength and speed superior to Germain's, who was a "Conjurer."

With Franklin's help, it was only a matter of time before Germain would be seriously injured or killed.

One small mistake, and Germain would be done for.

Feitan was enjoying the fight, already planning how he would torture Germain next. But suddenly, his years of danger intuition told him something was off.

Germain had reduced his attacks and focused more on defense and counterattacks.

Was he out of options, or was he planning something?

Despite facing a relentless assault from Franklin and Feitan, Germain had managed to hold out for several minutes and even took the opportunity to cut off Franklin's left arm.

His "Nen" hadn't diminished much.

This showed he was much more resilient than they were.

It was the only thing he did better than Feitan.

Germain seemed to want to keep fighting, wearing them down, and then strike back with all his strength.

The floating squares around him were probably a "Nen tank," like in fighting games, used to store Nen.

It now filled up a part of the Nen tank, but Germain hadn't used it. He must be waiting for the right moment.

If I get killed or badly hurt by mistake, he'll still have a chance to defeat the one-armed Franklin!

Feitan thought about this crucial point and narrowed his eyes. He believed he had figured out Germain's plan and intensified his attack.

After all, he still had the "Pain Packer" to protect him, so his "Nen Blade" was even more aggressive—only attacking, with no defense.

Indeed, Germain's intentions weren't much different from Feitan's.

He was quietly building up his "Nen tank," waiting for the chance to deliver a decisive blow to Feitan.

However, there was another reason for his waiting.

At this moment, Franklin suddenly exclaimed, "Huh!" and then shouted in surprise, "Feitan, something's wrong!"

Feitan's "Nen Blade" was slashing wildly, and flames shot out like a crescent moon, but Germain's crow shield blocked them.

Hearing Franklin's shout, Feitan looked up and around.

He quickly understood why Franklin was so concerned.

It turned out that while they were fighting, almost everyone on the street had fled.

Instead, there were balls of white mist trapping them in the middle.

"Five minutes," Germain said with anticipation. "Five minutes have passed since we first met on the hill."

Feitan frowned again. He realized he had missed a crucial detail and spoke in a cold tone.

"Hehe, so you have reinforcements nearby. But do you think I'm afraid? Every one of them comes and dies, and you will have to face reality."

Germain chose to stay silent and not argue with Feitan.

In an instant, more than a dozen dark figures emerged from the fog.

They jumped out and charged at Franklin, who had a broken arm.

"You think I'm an easy target?" Franklin sneered, and his "Single Machine Gun" fired "Nen bullets" one after another. "Come on! Let's see who's the weakling!"

The "Nen bullets" pierced through the group of young men with crew cuts, shattering them into pieces and turning them into wisps of smoke that drifted away.

"Doppelganger? Phantom?" Franklin was momentarily stunned, then realized something was wrong and stepped back quickly. "It's a trap!"

Before he could move to safety, two figures emerged from both sides of the fog wall behind him, attacking him from both directions!

Morel swung a large pipe and hit Franklin in the back!

However, Franklin was a big guy, and he used his "tough" hand to shield his back just in time, so the pipe only caused him to lose his balance and fall forward.

"Damn it!" Franklin swore.

And what came next was a powerful punch!

Knuckle punched Franklin in the face, sending him crashing to the ground.

Franklin hit the ground. His broken arm made him feel uneasy, and he couldn't support his large body for a moment. At the same time, he was a bit surprised.

He didn't feel any pain from the punch he received from Knuckle, only a tingling sensation.

As he wondered about this, he saw a strange doll with small wings floating in front of him.

"Time's up, let's start calculating interest!"

The strange doll shouted loudly, and a string of numbers appeared on its forehead.

Morel and Shoot stood side by side under the World Tree, enjoying the fireworks. Suddenly, a disappointing scream pierced the air.

They turned to see a crowd in the town rushing toward them.

The master and disciple exchanged glances, realizing something was wrong.

At first, they thought it was just a typical stampede and that police would handle it.

But when they heard gunshots and artillery fire, and people yelling "murderer," they understood the situation was more serious.

This was likely beyond what ordinary police could manage.

They quickly went over and met Knuckle, who also noticed something was amiss.

The three of them soon reached the battlefield.

As they got closer, they felt the "Nen fluctuations" from the fight. The intensity was like a pounding heart.

Morel and his companions realized this was a battle between two powerful Nen Users, and it was going to be intense.

They climbed onto a roof and, from their high vantage point, saw the chaos below.

Dead bodies were scattered everywhere—residents, tourists, and police officers alike, all in grim conditions. It was a nightmarish scene.

Germain was battling a short, heavily dressed man.

Nearby, a tall, strong one-armed man was firing "Nen bullets" to disrupt Germain's attack.

The two enemies appeared both fierce and powerful.

Morel, Knuckle, and Shoot were secretly impressed. They hadn't expected that, despite their attack, Germain not only managed to protect himself but also found the opportunity to fight back.

This clearly showed that Germain has a lot of combat experience.

"With such strength and each move aimed to kill Germain," Morel said, stroking his broad chin, "I suspect they are the so-called 'Phantom Troupe.'"

Shoot was even more surprised upon hearing this.

He observed Feitan, who was wearing the "Pain Packer", and realized that this man was incredibly fast and had many deadly techniques.

If he faced this person directly, he would likely come out at a disadvantage.

Thinking back to how he had previously underestimated the "Phantom Troupe," Shoot felt a bit embarrassed.

"Teacher!" Knuckle shouted urgently, "Let's go help Germain. We can't just stand by while he's being attacked by the Phantom Troupe!"

But Morel waved his hand. "Hold on."

"Teacher, what are we waiting for?"

Knuckle, being warm-hearted and just, was struggling to contain his anxiety about rescuing Germain.

"Look, you're getting impatient again. Wait a moment while I prepare the most suitable battlefield."

Morel slowly removed the package from his shoulder, revealing a large pipe.

He took a deep breath, put the cigarette holder in his mouth, and exhaled a large cloud of smoke.
