Rung's death

Sometime later.

Yuki was at the morgue with Eliza and Irene.

While speaking with her older brother Tsezguerra on her phone, the magnificent and usually cheerful Irene looked disconsolate.

Hanging up, she said that Tsezguerra maintained that he was also on his way to the mortuary.

In the dead room's hall, Yuki was also sad, but not as much as he would have been if his memories of Earth and Meteor City had never returned.

He was hugging and consoling his mother and sister meanwhile.

Yuki was accustomed to witnessing deaths all around him, including those of his family and friends.

He was pondering the kind of Hatsu he should prepare for himself to accompany his "templates".

He was thinking about using grenades, explosive clones, or other explosive projectiles that can locate and track his enemies.

Genthru suffered from a lack of mobility, and so did Bartolomeo.

Only the third Raikage could be called fast.

Very fast. Yuki didn't recall all the man's skills. He just knew that his son was fast.

About Rung again…

Yuki didn't want to be cold and think about anything apart from his adoptive father's death right now, but the man was dead…

Yuki would soon be saddled with a slew of responsibilities, and he would be the man of the house tasked with protecting the two women.

Irene learned the business she developed with her husband.

Naturally, she knew how to make money, provide for her family, and manage the family businesses, but she needed someone's protection while doing so.

If she was the gatherer, Yuki must now be the hunter and protector of the family.

To be honest, he didn't have the energy to run a business anyway. Not in the world of Hunter X Hunter.

Instead, growing his strength, he would be able to train himself and Eliza while protecting her.

"Ten" was enigmatic.

Naga, a "Ten meditation expert" even inside the troupe, had taught him as a child to train his Nen while remaining idle.

Yuki and Naga were Samurai and their roots came from Samurai stuff.

Though they grew as orphans, they had parents at some point. Poor and sick ones from meteor city.

When Naga was still a man, she taught him a lot about the specific disciplines known as "Aura release and Aura control."

She sucked and kept sucking at "En," though… That's why her Hatsu was made to work within a small perimeter.

Anyway.

With Tsezguerra on their side, generally there wasn't much protecting to do in the first place.

Rung was an average man who just happened to know how to use guns. Not that he'd ever need to use them himself with all the grunts and employees at their disposal to do those low, menial, and occasionally dirty tasks…

When Yuki was in deep and solemn thought, thinking about the future,

Tsezguerra arrived.

He was accompanied by the Scarlet family bodyguards and other suit-clad employees who were waiting outside the hospital.

Yuki was stunned, after seeing one of them.

It was Khara, the cute examiner from the Hunter exam in the plot.

Yuki didn't go and talk to her, it wasn't the right time at all.

"Tsezguerra! Rung is dead!"

Seeing her brother, Irene jumped and fell into his arms to cry.

"I know… you told me, but what happened?"

Her older brother asked, scowling.

Tsezguerra really doted on her, and he and his little sister had a good relationship, so Yuki wasn't surprised.

Seeing her uncle, Eliza also looked a bit a less anxious as well.

When Irene was sobbing at his side, Tsezguerra asked again, looking miffed,

"What happened in the end? Do you have any new information from the forensics investigation? We were all rushing, so I didn't ask you for more details."

An angry tick mark was on the side of his face as Irene replied, both crying and sighing,

"It was more serious than we told you. His heart had been weakening over time, and he died of heart failure. It's just bad luck that had to happen at some point. It just happened faster than he and I anticipated. We wanted to avoid worrying you all…"

Tsezguerra sighed, cursing,

"What made you hide it? Damn. What kind of karma is this? Irene, you married when you were young, but you can't be a widow at your age… I won't tolerate it after how much you suffered to get where you are."

Irene chuckled in her cries,

"Are you concerned about me? Tsezguerra, Rung's dead body is still warm; stop worrying about my happiness for the moment. It's completely inappropriate."

Tsezguerra said,

"Right… Sorry, sis. You know me."

He then turned to Yuki and Eliza who sat on the bench hugging as he asked,

"How are you two holding up?"

Yuki spoke in place of the depressed Eliza, responding,

"As you can see, Eliza isn't at her best. We've been better, but we're holding up. ."

Tsezguerra nodded and remarked seriously,

"We should discuss this in depth later but, I'm counting on you, kid. You'll have plenty of responsibilities from now on when I can't be with you. You'll have to look after these two as best you can, most importantly…"

Yuki nodded solemnly.

As soon as he learned about Rung's death, he expected to hear these words from the man's brother-in-law.

The following day. Nobody had slept, and Tsezguerra was still at the Scarlet family home.

He was slowly walking through the garden with Yuki, "So you've gained back your memories…"

He said, his tone a bit surprised again.

Initially, he was concerned, but after hearing Yuki's version of his past and how Yuki intended to stay, he was relieved.

Yuki smiled and nodded, saying,

"I wasn't sure what I was missing, but I'd been waiting a long time for my memories to return."

Tsezguerra commented, "Yeah… Your life experience has been quite difficult in the short time you've lived, kid. For someone your age, at least. But, in any case, don't dwell on these things. If you feel guilty about them, they will consume you from within. I, Eliza, and Irene are still with you. We've become your family. We've always seen you as such…"

Yuki grinned answering,

"Thank you for the advice, uncle. But don't worry, I know how you think about me. I've always felt the same way."

"Good kid," the man said cheerfully, tapping Yuki's shoulder with his firm, solid hand. "That's the boy I discovered, Haha."

The conversation, which was gradually becoming more relaxed, moved on to the subject of Nen.

Tsezguerra stated quietly,

"As I suspected, Kid, you're a Nen user… I've always had the impression that your body was too well-trained and that you were too sharp to be anything else. It appears that I was correct."

Yuki gave a clever nod.

There was nothing to deny. He trusted his uncle.

He couldn't say the same about many people in and coming to the house at this precise period of sadness.

The whispering Tsezguerra inquired again,

"In that case, what's your best Nen department?"

Yuki responded with the truth,

"I was born to be a manipulator. However, for some reason, my Nen has now evolved into specialization."

He, too, was taken aback by finding out what Nen he had.

Replying to Tsezguerra about his Nen affinity, inside, he thought that it didn't matter.

Mainly because of what his armaments can do.

They gave him and his women complete access to all Nen affinities.

He also did not inform Tsezguerra of this, though. He had no plans to transform his uncle into a woman.

Yuki also recalled how his gender change ability was not what he thought it was back in Meteor City.

He simply didn't get it and lacked control.

Otherwise, simply fighting him would transform all of his enemies into women.

The system was not a moron.

Yuki couldn't normally train with people unless he had complete control over whether the weaponry turned people into women.

But Yuki had the full control of the "gender change" skill now, after so many years of the system abandoning him.

"Manipulator who became a specialist? I've seen a few. That's fantastic, even better than a pure specialist… Unless, of course, you can't revert to your original affinity under certain conditions. Can you?"

Yuki nodded, indicating how he could before Tsezguerra continued smiling,

"In the world of Nen users, people who awaken to specialization and acquire dual characteristics, such as you, are fortunate…"

"Is that correct?" Yuki pretended to be unaware. He then inquired with curiosity, "Uncle, what's your Nen type?"

Tsezguerra responded,

"I'm an ordinary enhancer."

Yuki commented,

"Enhancer, you say? I'm aware of a few things regarding Nen typing and personality… I would have expected you to be more of a thinker based on what I know, but you're also warm and straightforward in your actions."

Tsezguerra chuckled and shook his head, saying, "Nen typing has little to do with personality, Kid. In the world of Nen users, these are mostly urban legends… Nen typing, on the other hand, is strongly influenced by blood ties and heredity. People from the same family are more likely to awaken to Nen types that are similar or very close."

Yuki said,

"Uncle, you seem to know a lot… This makes me a bit envious. I wish I could be a hunter too to access all that information."

Tsezguerra laughed, "No need to be envious, you stupid boy, you can take the hunter test with your current strength, and you probably won't fail. You may end up first, in fact."

Yuki shook his head decidedly and said,

"I'd rather stay at home until things settle down first and Eliza learns Nen."

Tsezguerra was surprised and confused by his answer,

"What? You want to teach her?"

Yuki replied,

"Yes, why?

Tsezguerra told,

"Nen can't easily be taught at random unless people figure it out by themselves. Even more so when there's already a hunter in the family. I could be investigated… But after what happened, I can close my eyes this time…"

Yuki hesitated and said,

"I would like to teach mom too, can I? If you're going to be punished, it's better to take it all at once, right?"

"This…" Tsezguerra hesitated. After a long sigh, when Yuki acted cute with him, he finally agreed.

But he told Yuki to be secret about this. He shouldn't let people from the association find out how they learned Nen later.

This stuff, where Nen was taught at random in a family, was only available to people linked with hunters above a single star. Or those who had ties with presidents and stuff.

Yuki nodded.

He said that he has always been a good liar, so it won't be a problem.

Tsezguerra probably won't even be punished if the investigation comes.

After all, he was adopted and knew Nen before.

He never knew that being a hunter was so tough below the single star. He also made a joke how Tsezguerra should either quit the association or upgrade.

Tsezguerra chuckled, then he said,

"Brat, you should stop cracking jokes at funerals. How will I look if I laugh when my brother-in-law has just died?"

Yuki replied,

"Uncle, I didn't do it on purpose. What the gnawers from other families think of us, however, shouldn't matter to you. Their hypocrisy is plain to see on their faces."

Tsezguerra grinned once more, requesting that he stop.

He liked the way Yuki thought, but it still wasn't appropriate.

A few days following the funerals. In the early morning.

Because of their delicate identities and social status, Yuki and Eliza were homeschooled.

In this world, most mafia kids were homeschooled.

In addition, their parents had no intention of sending them to college because they wanted them to join their companies as soon as possible and take over their positions in their clandestine enterprises.

After questioning Tsezguerra, Yuki identified the timeline that he was in.

The 283rd Hunter Exam was still being held in this year.

So if he wanted to enjoy the main plot with Eliza, he still had four years to do so.

By that time, Eliza, who was 19 at the time, would be 23, and Yuki would be 19.

The person that he also saw at the hospital was Khara from the hunter association.

He was surprised, but she was actually working for Rung.

Yuki spoke with her and discovered that she intended to take the hunter exam the following year. The 284th exam.

She must have had talent because three years later, she would be responsible for some portion of the 287th exam.

She also appeared to have been present during the chairman election arc.

Yuki started negotiating with her not to leave the house and not to take the exam if she could. That was because he was already preparing to get close to her soon.

He wanted to be her friend and had something to show her.

But he held back on saying more because he was currently preoccupied with both the family as a whole.

And a specific person.

That person was Eliza.

The lighting in the corridor was poor.

There was just enough to see and go about without stumbling.

Yuki proceeded down the lengthy corridor on the second floor of the house.

It had paintings and varnished windows that allowed in just a little amount of light.

He was headed to Eliza's room.

Entering, he found her still weeping in her bed. She was doing a lot of that these days.

With all that had transpired in the previous several days, Eliza did not attend her MMA event. Naturally.

Given her strength and skills, she was almost guaranteed to win the martial arts competition.

On the fighting mat, Eliza was a bully to men, women, and other martial arts practitioners her age.

She wasn't a Nen user, but she wasn't a normal person either.

Eliza was powerful, more powerful than any mixed martial arts world champion from Earth could be.

Because the Hunter X Hunter reality had different bodies and higher, if not infinite, thresholds for peak human strength, she wasn't the "best ordinary person" in the Yorknew city or on the planet.

But overall, Eliza was a naturally gifted child who inherited many of her mother's qualities. Not just on the ring…

If the Hunter X Hunter universe was set on Earth, Tsezguerra and Irene would be of Eastern European descent, possibly from Russia.

Yuki had no idea where that zone of descent should be placed on the Hunter X Hunter world map.

Yuki had never asked the siblings where they came from before his memories returned to him, so perhaps he should now.

Tsezguerra was an MMA fighter before becoming a hunter. A professional one.

So was Irene, a former world champion on the women's side of the sport.

It was difficult to judge how powerful a Nen user Irene could have become if she had been introduced to Nen as early as her brother.

Even at her current age, she had no idea how to use Nen.

Only her brother had the great luck to discover the world of Nen after taking the hunter exam, searching for a new challenge. He eventually found work as a Jackpot Hunter and made it his next profession.

Tsezguerra even had a single star, demonstrating his ability as a Hunter.

He was on the same level as Menchi in terms of hunter qualifications.

Morel was a single star hunter as well, but he was naturally much stronger than Tsezguerra, as demonstrated during the Chimera Arc.

It was hard to gauge Menchi's strength without seeing her in action against the Chimera Ants. Menchi, alas, never fought them.

Unless she was just disregarded in the story because there were too many Nen users to introduce and show off, she was most likely not stronger than Morel.

In Eliza's room seconds later.

Yuki opened the window drapes to let more light into the chamber.

Then he said, encouraging Eliza to get out of bed and quit sleeping her grief away,

"Are you still dozing off like a sloth? We are responsible for protecting Mom, you know? I want to share with you something… From now on, we'll practice it together every day."

Eliza was getting up.

As for him, he paused before saying,

"You're generally a hard worker who can tolerate pain, but we won't have time to sleep any longer; so, no matter how badly I abuse you, you should become used to it."

Eliza yawned.

Mumbling, her face was a total catastrophe due to a lack of tears.

She inquired, perplexed, with dark circles under her eyes, as she stared at Yuki,

"…Mhmmm…What do you want to teach me?"

Yuki grinned, thinking about something inside.

He knew that if he told Eliza he's going to teach her Nen and Chakra without showing her something, she'll be confused.

So he said,

"I'll show you directly, come with me to the garden,"

On the way out, after he recalled how he could hasten her awakening, he informed her that she must don the third Raikage's brilliant gold armor. Which resembled a knight's armor in shining armor.

The armor specifically resembled Saber's golden armor from "FATE," but it also had a large gold helmet.

However, the armor's style, color, and actual material—such as gold or silver—could all be changed to the wearer's preferences.

Furthermore, the armor and its helmet could be resized depending on the wearer, but they were never damaged.

Startled, seeing an armor coming out of thin air, Eliza leapt feet first onto her bed.

She asked Yuki, shock and some fear in her pretty eyes, with her shaking finger pointed at him and her eyes wide open,

"How did that armor appear just now? Did you do that?"

Yuki smirked without replying.

Of course, his sister had no idea what an inventory was…

Even if Yuki didn't have an inventory and had to rely on conjuration, she'd be as perplexed as she was now.

Yuki claimed, tempting her,

"This is Nen, a power that both I and Uncle Tsezguerra have. Until my memories were restored, I had forgotten how to use it. If you like, I'll give you your first course right now…"

"Yes!!" Eliza nodded swiftly, though she didn't appear to understand what was happening.

"You need to put on this, though…"

Yuki reminded as Eliza dressed and put the armor on top of her clothes. Then temporarily set aside her woes and hurried outdoors, following Yuki.

The third Raikage's armor was overly thin and small, making it appear "sexier" on Eliza than it might be on the "reasonably aphrodisiac" Saber in comparison…

Well, that was the Non-X-rated version of Saber Yuki was referring to.

This Eliza, his sister, was some hentai version of Erza from fairy tail.

As they went outside together, when Eliza complained about the perverted-looking armor, Yuki suddenly warned,

"We don't have the luxury of talking about how sexy-looking you are right now."

During fights, surprises, and shocks were really useful.

Shaking his head, he envisioned the mesomorphic, fearsome, athletic Biscuit insulting his sister if she were there with a barrage of foul language.

Depending on who was judging her, Biscuit's appearance as an adult wasn't very attractive, but because of her horrific change, she was using baffling and unsettling ways.

In a battle between focused Nen experts, a few seconds of surprise could not be disregarded.

When Eliza complained again, Yuki told her,

"OK. OK… Calm down, you can change the size of the armor and its shape as many times as you want. Depending on your day-to-day preferences, you can make it look like whatever you want."

"Can I?" Eliza inquired surprised. She looked happy now.

Yuki nodded.

After he explained the how,

Eliza closed her eyes and did something that stunned him.

From the "fate-looking" style of the armor, the armor, and helmet begin shaping and resizing almost exactly like Aldebaran the Taurus golden knight from the Zodiac knights in Saint Seiya.

Seeing it, Yuki thought, sighing,

'How did she think about Aldebaran Taurus?'

Yuki knew that Eliza was no transmigrator. At least he thought she was not…

(Author: She really is not a transmigrator. Don't even start the problems. Chill out a little. Lmao.)

Asking his system seconds later, he got confirmation that she wasn't, so he still was clueless.

There was no Saint Seiya manga or anime in the world of Hunter X Hunter.

He asked Eliza since he was too bewildered,

"How did you think of this armor?"

He didn't tell the name. After all, he couldn't tell her he knew who the armor belonged to…

Her head peeking from inside the massive and imposing armor, Eliza replied,

"I simply prefer this look. What's the problem?"

Yuki didn't reply, he went silent and asked the system.

+++System, is she not a transmigrator? Are you certain?+++

[Host, I did not deceive you. She is not a reincarnation. In fact, you'll never get to meet one.]

The system answered.

(Author: She really is not a transmigrator. Don't even start the problems. Chill out a little. Lmao. I had to make this note twice. You know whY…)

Yuki still had doubts, but after a scowl, he instructed her to reduce the size of the armor because it was still too large for her.

The size would not change her weight, but it looked too bad on her.

Yuki began injecting some of his Aura into her armor after Eliza agreed, laughing carelessly.

She was stunned and terrified at first as she felt and saw the white-colored power leaking from her pores.

But she calmed down and began meditating her "Ten" seated under the clear and careful guidance of Yuki.

Yuki intended to teach her Nen first, followed by Chakra.

He was going to test her attributes in Nen only.

That was because the Chakra that Yuki and his women would receive came with all the Chakra's attributes.

Thanks to the system, which stated that no further restrictions were required with the way templates worked and how they would keep being added.

It wouldn't make sense to impose restrictions on natural elements like fire and water after a certain point with the templates.

Yuki was not surprised by the discovery because he was aware of his status as a transmigrator.

Furthermore, under equipping and possession conditions, the armaments were already giving him and his women all Nen affinities.

However, with all of these facts and only the third Raikage template at his disposal, it didn't matter much.

The man's template would give him access to a wide range of techniques and abilities.

Nonetheless, those would only be the skills that the third Raikage had successfully mastered or retained throughout his life.

For example, the third Raikage, would never have seen the scroll of the Reanimation jutsu.
