Humility
Humility does not mean letting other people win games and competition.
The people with the greatest humility are often those who have achieved a lot in life. Sir Isaac Newton, the great British scientist studied the laws of Nature and the effect of gravity. He also showed us that sunlight can be split into the seven colours of the rainbow. Everyone was astonished that one man could discover so many things. One day a lady went up to him and said , 'You are truly amazing in our world and even the entire Univeres '. Newton replied, 'Alas! I am only a little child picking up pebbles on the shire of great ocean of trust'.
Do we mock Newton because he was humble enough to compare himself to a little child?
Of course not. Even though he discovered many things he also understood the value of HUMILITY.
Humility is a quality of character which makes our minds and spirits grow. It helps us in our search for knowledge and reminds us to respect the ideas and beliefs of others.
If we have humility we will value the little things and opportunities in life and get the best out of them. It does not harm us to says, 'I don't know ' or 'I want to know'.
