Jason's Dilemma

Monster Realm, somewhere in the jungle.

"D-don't let that fire die down." A scared young man stuttered as he spoke to his friend, who was holding a torch. They looked fearfully around at the walls that were filled with spider webs.

A dimly lit cave and its walls surrounded them, with the only light coming from the small, flickering flame that was threatening to go out.

"Kyaa..."

A distant scream echoed from the cave before it disappeared. That caused both young men to almost drop their weapons.

"Yeah, fuck this!" The young man holding a torch dropped any idea of going forward and instead turned around in a bid to leave this place as quickly as possible.

However, the other young man grabbed him by his collar and shouted. "Where the hell are you going! You think we can live in the Monster Realm without their protection?! We have to do this!"

"I don't care! I will just willingly go to jail!" The torch-holding young man slapped the hand away and ran away, bringing light with him.
