Chapter: The Next Step

After a few minutes of exhausting walking, the group had finally arrived at their destination. The tunnel had led them to another underground base that Apollo had supposedly prepared for them.

Before them now stood another massive metal door. Behind it lied the base where they would temporarily take refuge.

"So this is it?" Asked Hades as he brushed his fingertips against the door.

"Yes, behind this door is a base that has been prepared for all of you. While here, you should take the time to prepare yourselves for the attack against the Apocrypha," replied Ares.

"Ares, I know everyone has their different reasons for fighting against the Apocrypha, but I've never heard your reason for doing it..." Suddenly noted the quiet Cerberus who was now in human form.

"Let's just say Poseidon convinced me. I've come to believe that the Apocrypha needs a new leader if things are to change for the better."
