Chapter: Kymera's Bloody Battle

Running was not an option. Typhon had a significant speed advantage over Kymera. Her only option was to fight both Griffin and Typhon at once— whether or not she was outmatched.

"I'll say it one last time, Kymera. Surrender now and things won't have to escalate further than they already have. We aren't ordered to kill you so you have nothing to worry about," comforted Griffin.

"I have already given my answer. I shall no longer allow myself to be oppressed by the Apocrypha!"

Griffin then sighed as he took out a small metallic bracelet that had been hidden within his feathers. Kymera immediately realized the device. It was called an Apokleistís Névron or a Nerve Blocker in English.

Once attached to a living organism, it would block all nerve signals that were sent to the brain— barring the brain from the rest of the body. It even had a function that allowed whoever it was attached to, to become weightless for a few minutes.
