Chapter: Escape

Zane was frozen— not just physically, but mentally as well. He had not taken into consideration that Queen Hera had an ability capable of petrifying a target. Zane was now worried more than ever.

What could he do to escape? Bargaining with the Apocrypha was no longer a possibility. He was stranded in the heart of his enemy's base with no one to help. Even Hades looked as if he had given up. The look on Hades' face stunk of failure. It was evident to Zane that he had given up.

"Damn it, Hades! You can't allow yourself to give up here! Not after all we've done! You can't tell me that we should just allow all our efforts and hard work to be washed down the drain!!" Shouted Zane desperately.

Queen Hera then slapped Zane across his face silencing him. She decided that she was done listening to Zane's annoying rebellion.
