Chapter: A One In A Million Chance
Silence was heard. Both enemies and allies alike stared at Zane in distraught. He had consumed the brain of King Jupiter— something that should be avoided unless placed on a specialized machine.
Zane laid stagnant on the ground. He neither moved nor breathed. No one knew if the consumption of King Jupiter's brain had killed him. There was a high possibility that he would die.
"Zane! What's wrong with him??" Bawled Layla.
"He consumed King Jupiter's brain... There's a good chance that he will die..." Mumbled Hades.
Layla did not wish to believe Zane had just died from doing something reckless. She knew the situation was grim, but she wished Zane hadn't gone to such extents. His life was now in extreme danger.
Even Zeus and Hera turned themselves around in shock to look at Zane. They were in disbelief that Zane would do something so stupid.
"Is this hybrid this dumb, or was he so desperate that he would toss his life away!?" Boomed Hera.
