It was the following day after Ares and Chimera had left for the royal meeting. Thankfully, neither Ares nor Chimera had been instructed to kill Zane nor Layla upon their return.
Zane was now training intensely under Ares once more. Ares did his best to increase Zane's reaction speed alongside many other needed factors. Unfortunately for Zane, the training had only become more intense.
"You should also take note that when up against an opponent who is stronger than you, it is best not to fight them head-on," continued Ares, "If you are forced to fight them, then wait for them to make the first move. Observe their attack pattern and counter accordingly!"
