Chapter 73: The Next Stage

The first stage of the plan was a success. It had been a day since Zane had spoken to the royals. It was now time for the Anunnaki to witness the hoard of infected that was sent to destroy them. Once this was done, the Anunnaki would have no choice but to trust Zane, since he had saved their lives. The royals had even left a communication device with Zane so that he could get in touch with them when he needed to.

The only issue with the plan was that the Apocrypha would find it odd that the Anunnaki had managed to evade them. This could lead them to figure out that a spy was among them. Zane and Hades had to play their cards right if they were to avoid suspicion.

Calmly, Zane walked up the stairs of a high-rise building that overlooked the Anunnaki base. Layla and the others followed closely behind him. They were growing extremely frustrated with Zane.
