STAY AWAY FROM ME!!

Nakul and Dhiraj were driving back to the school. An awkward air surrounded them. The session's outcome was highly unsatisfactory for Dhiraj.

After Dhiraj's declaration of love, contrary to his expectation, things got really awkward. The counselor was a kind lady so didn't judge Dhiraj for liking same-sex but she didn't really understand what to do next.

Although being open minded, she felt it inappropriate to suggest Nakul to give things a try with Dhiraj. Maybe because she felt, just like she respected Dhiraj's want to be with Nakul, she cannot ignore the fact that Nakul didn't want to entangle into an arrangement that happened due their uncontrollable dynamic of chrome-monochrome.

Their session ended with her still asking Nakul to consider his decision carefully since meeting your chrome can be such a rare phenomenon. They decided to meet again after a week to discuss if there was any progress.

The only one thing Dhiraj felt went well was the counselor suggesting Nakul to spend some more time with him to get a better understanding of their dynamic. This was a chance to turn the odds in his favor.

They finally reached the school and Dhiraj stopped the car.

"So what should we do tomorrow?" Dhiraj questioned, pretending that they were best buds.

"What tomorrow? Didn't I make it clear enough in the session? Why do you think I'm still wearing these black glasses?" Nakul snapped, pointing at his glasses. He wore them again as soon as their session was over. It was as if he was making deliberate attempts to ignore the new progressions in his life.

Taking a deep breath he continued, "Dude, you will find hundreds of much more beautiful women...or even men who will be ready to do anything for you. Why don't you try to be with them? Just leave me the fuck alone?"

"But the counselor said that it's better if you stayed..." Dhiraj wasn't ready to give up either. The more Nakul resisted him, the more adamant Dhiraj became.

"-And I don't care. Let me make it clear again. I DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING WITH YOU. So just leave me alone." Nakul screamed while getting out of the car. Closing the door with a loud bang, he wished this chapter of his life would just end.

Dhiraj watched him leave, feeling helpless for the first time in his life. His heart sank as anxiety of just how he could convince Nakul to spend more time with him, clouded his mind.

A few seconds later, Nakul turned and walked towards the car. Bending over to the window he threatened Dhiraj, "Also, I better not see you at my workplace. Or else, I'll get the security to throw you out from here. And being kicked out like a dog would definitely not be a good news for a man of your stature. Right?" he gave off his sarcastic grin.

'Oh honey, Are you trying to threaten me?! That's cute.' Dhiraj forced a smile and simply replied with an "Okay!!"

Hearing that, Nakul left for his car.

Little did he know, he would be greeted with that same sly smile that annoyed him so much only a few days later.
