But, keep in mind that this is not the kind of novel where the MC acts like a psychopath from day one. He will walk on the path slowly. >MC won't remember the full extent of the story of movies. >For the first few chapters, the story would follow canon, but variation would start taking place soon when MC would enter the second year. >This is not a harem fic. I have not thought about the love interest, if anyone has any suggestions then feel free to comment. ____________________________________ The book will be updated every Monday to Friday.  To read chapter ahead of public release and to support me, consider becoming a patron on: patreon.com/Yash_Vardhan One can chat with me on my Discord: https://discord.gg/kb7jehGPFX

Chapter-79: Johanson Mansion-2

Double chappies

When Ronan was flying in the sky, he realized that the town of Pillsbury was very small. He only saw 60-70 houses in the area, which meant that it had a small population. And at 8:00 pm on a Friday, the whole town was covered in the veil of silence. He couldnt even one pedestrian on the street.

I will explore the town tomorrow.

He then started heading north, towards the only mountain in the area. From the sky, he started seeing a silhouette of a grand estate at the top of the mountain. And it was truly a very grand estate.

The mansion itself looked like it was three stories tall. The boundary around the mansion seemed broken in some areas and was nothing that magic could not fix. The back side of the mansion was a garden, with a dubious modern art piece at its edge.

Although he was very excited about the mansion, his excitement came crashing down when he saw a bonfire in his backyard. And someone was sitting by the bonfire.

Thats weird. I dont think there was anyone who knew about this place. Hell, I dont think there was supposed to be a caretaker of this place.

He realized that the person might be a trespasser.

To get the culprit red-handed, he descended on the roof and put his trunk there. Took out his wand and just started walking up to them. When he got closer, he started smelling food. He could also hear a faint singing, and from the sounds of it, the trespasser was a woman.

"Little Niffler forgot her nest,

No one in her family would help,

Niffler started crying, saying welp…" The woman stopped singing when heard the crackling of the leaves that he had accidentally stepped on.

She rose to her feet, pointing her wand in his direction. He then asked, finally seeing her face "Who in the Merlin's beard are you?"

The woman was a filthy-looking brunette. She looked and smelled like a bum. He could not tell her exact age because of the dirt and grime on her face. But he was to guess, then she looked like she was in her late thirties.

"Who are you!" she practically yelled. From her frantic breath and her uneasiness, he figured that she was not supposed to be there.

"No no no no…" He said while putting his hands in the pocket, ".. We are not playing this game. I asked the question first, so answered. Who are you? And what are you doing here?"

He didnt know what triggered the woman, but in the next moment, she sent a stunner at him. But he was well prepared. With a flick of his wand, he conjured a strong shield, which deflected her attack and threw her a few feet away from her original position. Now that she was stunned, he telekinetically took her wand and started seeing what he was dealing with there.

First, he went inside her tent, by the fire. He figured that the tent would have an Undetectable Extension Charm performed on it, making it more spacious from the inside.

But to his surprise, this was just a normal tent. He saw that all of her clothes were jumbled together in a corner, there was what looked like a broken picture frame just by the dirty black pillow. While her grey blanket reeked of shit.

Trying not to vomit, he came by her side and looked at her once again. Small drops of tears were streaming down her eyes.

"You look a bum." He said, "Not like a witch."

From the pots and mess around her tent, he figured that she was living here. He knew that there was something wrong with her, after all, there was a mansion just by her side. With a wand, she could easily break into life inside. Why live in such a harsh condition?"

He was about to un-stun her but stopped when he noticed something peculiar by the corner of his eyes. He got up and went to the foot of the modern art in the garden. Two chains were coming out from the foot of the art. And based on the claw marks left on the foot, he would say that there was a beast captured here. And it was then, it all made sense to him.

Immediately he went to her. He undid her stunning. Ronan anticipated that she would start begging or doing something after she was free. But for some reason, she didnt do anything. While crying and lying on the floor, she just requested, "Please dont hurt me. I cannot turn today. I… It is not a full moon."

"What is your name?" he asked.

"Juliana. Juliana Yoweli."

He conjured a chair for him and sat down. "Sit up straight and answer a few of my questions truthfully. Only then I might not harm you,"

Extremely scared, she slowly got up. Tears were still streaming down her face. And then he asked, "What are you doing here?"

"I.." She choked on her words, "I have nowhere else to go… When I heard that about this mountain and how no one ever comes here…. I thought that I could live here,"

"How long are you living here for?" he asked.

"Three years,"

"You are a witch, right? Why are you living.." He pointed towards the mess around her, "..Living like this?"

"This is not living," she said, "This is surviving… I am not a witch. I am not, at least that is what my parents thought… When they abandoned me. I am not a human, who can be hired. At least that was what my boss thought so… Everyone left me after I was bitten. My friends. My love. They told me that I could not live anymore. I just need to survive. And that would be my life from now on. So that is what I am doing here."

"Why didnt you go inside the mansion?" he asked, "You are a witch right? You should have been able to break in,"

"I tried," she said with a painful smile, "But… I cannot. This mansion is locked. Only the owner of this house can unlock it,"

Ronan thought about what he should do with her. A part of him wanted to obliviate a part of her memories, he could not have someone like her know where he was living. But then, looking at her pitiful condition, he was really thinking about whether he should do it. She was very pathetic, to begin with.

He stood up, and gave her back her wand, "As I promised" She took it back, with uncertainty. And then he continued, "Now… I want you to pack all of your stuff and get off this mountain. If I find even one clue that you have loitering around this place, then I would make sure that you would be buried alive 8 feet under the ground. Got it?"

She threw her wand away, "Please dont throw me out," and then she hugged his leg, "I have nowhere else to go. Please. Please."

Fearing that she might attack him, Ronan then pushed her back with his telekinesis and lifted her in the air. "Dont push your luck woman. You are trespassing on my estate. And as a Werewolf, I can kill you where you stand, without facing any consequences. So, dont push it,"

"How are you doing this?" she asked. He was about to answer when Ronan realized that there was something wrong. From what he remembers, there was never a time when he was capable of lifting people in the air with his telekinesis. And from what he could feel, he was not even on his limits as well.

It looks like my telekinesis prowess is increasing with my age… But did my training affect this growth? Or was this natural? He then decided to test his theories later on.

"Would you move on your own? Or should I throw you out?"

"I will go. I will go," he then let her down.

Before he could say something, she spoke, "Listen… I have one more proposition for you. This might interest you!!"

"What?" he asked impatiently.

She then quickly removed her dirty blouse, showing her assets, "You can use me. If you want. But please dont throw me out,"

Unfazed, he flicked his wand and the blanket nearby covered her torso. If this was just some woman, he would have stunned her and then thrown her out by now. But he saw it when she undid her blouse..

Her body had scars. Many scars. All looked like scars from the nails of a wolf. He figured that she was part of a werewolf pack before she came here…

Ronan bit his lip, he was frustrated that this was happening. But he had come to a decision. "I will let you stay."

A smile bloomed on her face, "But…" he said firmly, "This offer is for this night. I will decide what I need to do for you, tomorrow." He then took her wand with telekinesis, "I will be taking this off your hand…" he then turned around, and started walking to the front side of the mansion, "Follow me,"

Ronan stood at the front door of the mansion. Behind him was Juliana, carrying his trunk and broom. Excited, he inserted the key in the door, the one he got in his inheritance. With just one move of the key, the whole mansion came alive. All the lanterns around the mansion lit up. Even lanterns inside the mansion lit up.

With a slight push, the door opened ajar. And they were greeted with a luxurious, dirty mansion.

From inside the place looked more like a palace than a mansion. The living area itself was three stories tall, with the grand chandelier with uncountable cobwebs occupying the two floors above. There was a set of very dusty sofas before him, but they had some sort of green moss growing on them.

And from just behind the staircase was a giant staircase that led further to other floors. The place looked so grand that it made the Grimauld place look like a cheap old place. This place speaks of royalty...
