Stepdaughter

Li Yue was and her parents arrived at the General's mansion. Su Yan has reincarnated as Li Yue because they died together in space and time.

Li Yue is the only daughter of the General. She is of the age to get married so the General agreed to the decision of the Empress Dowager which is the third prince and Li Yue getting married for the main purpose of a tight bond with the Lis.

The death of the Emperor was near. The prince's began to plot against each other in order to get the throne. The third prince wasn't really interested in getting to the throne but the other princes continued to plot against him.

There was an important and very powerful artifact of the Tang clan. It belonged to the Tang clan from the beginning of it's existence but when the Tang clan began to misuse it, it was taken away from their generation as a punishment for their evils and rebel.

It was given to the protectors force. The protectors are a group of people who are assigned to protect the most important of the important treasures of the Wei state. The protectors force was not base on hereditary but people who can protect the treasures with their life. People like Li Yue.

Only a few people knew what was in the box. Even Li Yue didn't know what was in it. All she knew was that she had to protect it with her life because in the wrong hands, doom will be pronounced.

Li Yue was capable of protecting the box because she was secretly skilled in martial arts which only she and the protectors force knew about. She was to reveal to no one that she was the protector of the Tang clan ancient box. But someone leaked the information putting Li Yue's life in danger. She tried to fight the assassins off but after fighting an army of them on her own, she became tired and lost all hopes. That's why she decided to bury the box at the bottom of the lake.

Li Yue was preparing to get married to the third prince. The real Li Yue hated the third prince. She could kill herself not to marry him. She was actually happy when she died. The new Li Yue didn't know that. Even everybody knows that she didn't want to marry him. She despised the third prince and the idea to marry him.

Li Yue's carriage set out in the evening to the royal palace. The place was crowded for the wedding. The third prince, the groom, was already outside waiting for them.

Li Yue got off the carriage with stares from the people as she walked towards her husband in her red dress and the veil above her head, covering her entire face.

Their clothes were tied together and they walked into the alter together. Then, the wedding rituals began.

After the rituals, Li Yue was taken to the bridal chamber. While she waited for the third prince, he was busy with the guests. Going around and drinking with them. The highly influential guests sent gifts to them, congratulating them on their wedding, even though they all knew how much they hated each other. They even got gifts from The Emperor and the Empress Dowager.

Li Yue waited all night for the third prince to come and unveil her face but he never came. Instead, a little girl came into the bridal chamber to see her. She was the daughter of the third prince, Wei Chu.

The third prince had a wife whom he chose by himself and married in love. Back then, his majesty didn't want him to marry her because she was the daughter of his cousin whom he hated a lot. Unfortunately, she died while giving birth to Wei Rue and the third prince has been taking care of her since then. He would die for his daughter. He even grew to love his daughter more than he had loved his wife.

"Hello. I am Wei Chu. Your step daughter. Can I see your face?" Wei Chu asked.

Li Yue unveiled her face and she also looked at Wei Chu.

Wei Chu shook her head in disapproval. "You are not my father's taste at all. You won't last here, don't worry" Wei Chu said.

"Okay. I am Li Yue" She introduced herself.

"I know who you are. You are the only daughter of the General. You take no interest in my father. I am sure you'll fight all the time but don't worry, I will help you" Wei Chu assured her.

"You are just a little girl, how would you know about this kind of stuff?" Li Yue asked. She was surprised about how Wei Chu was speaking, as if she were an expert in relationships.

"Mother, it is my job to know. I've been doing this since I was four"

"How old are you now?" Li Yue gaped at her.

"Five and a quarter. Now let's get down to business. I need a mother and another woman in my life. I like you already, but I don't think my father do. I will help your relationship like I would to any other. I will be back after my speech. He would probably scold me after, and when he does, you better help me because all I am trying to do is help you. Goodbye for now." Wei Chu said and left.

Li Yue was flabbergasted by that stepdaughter of hers. She knew so much. Anyway, she decided to focus on something else. Waiting for her husband to come in and unveil her. She put her veil back on and waited patiently.
