Dark Hero

Lance and the Warriors have been surrounded by Magic beasts, but Lance has now transformed and is ready for battle.

Adam Bright: I've heard about someone like this, a Mage whose body is covered by darkness and looks like a monster, they say he's strong enough to take on Blast. I'd never imagined that I'll get to meet him! (Adam says excitedly)

As Adam is distracted, a Wild dog beast tries to attack him from behind, but with a mere touch, Jessica freezes the beast solid.

Jessica Jade: Get your head in the game, we're fighting as well. (Jessica tells Adam)

Adam Bright: Sorry I spaced out, but with good reason, we get to witness the Dark Mage in action! (Adam says as he watches Dark Lance charge into a group of Magic beasts)

Jessica Jade: Dark Mage?

Jake Mercury: Don't tell me you haven't heard of him? He gained a lot of popularity after his epic fight with Blast, I heard it was awesome! (Jake says as he fires a beam of energy from his eyes, that hit's a Minotaur beast)

The Minotaur beast is unshaken by the attack and tries to squash Jake with it's massive fist, but luckily Adam was there and creates a force field to protect him from the hit.

Jessica Jade: We can talk about how great the Dark Mage is later, for now we have a job to do. (Jessica says as she jumps on the force field and launches herself towards the Minotaur's head, with a graze from her fingertips, the Minotaur's head is frozen solid and Jessica Summersault over it)

Jake Mercury: I see an opening! (Jake says as he blasts off the Minotaur's head with a powerful eye blast)

Jessica Jade: Good job, but it's not over yet. (Jessica tells them, referring to a horde of Magic beasts that was coming their way)

Before the Magic beasts even get close to the Warriors, Dark Lance lands in front of them and pushes them all back with an enormous Dark Torrent.

Meanwhile Huntress is racing through the forest. Killing any Magic beast she comes across, her entire body burns with the Cursed Flame as she continues to mercilessly kill Magic beasts, but something large catches her attention.

Huntress: You think because you're big you stand a chance against me? Hah! Don't make me laugh! (Huntress yells as she charges towards an enormous Yeti beast and jumps through it's chest, the Cursed Flame surrounding her body allowed her to tunnel through the beast's chest with ease, creating a huge hole where it's heart was supposed to be, and then it falls to the ground dead.

Huntress: Now you know your place, insect. (Huntress says to the dead beast, before she leaves to continue her onslaught)

Back with Dark Lance and the Warriors, Dark Lance has been fighting for some time now but the beasts still keep coming.

Jessica Jade: They're too many of them! (Jessica says as she skillfully freezes five Magic beasts)

Jake Mercury: I can't keep this up! (Jake says as he continues firing his eye blast nonstop)

Adam Bright: Hang on guys! We can make it through this! (Adam says as he creates a force field within a Magic beast snake, and makes the beast explode by expanding the field)

Dark Lance continues punching all the Magic beasts he can, but he's beginning to realize that he can't fight and protect the Warriors at the same time. He then remembers his own words, "I promise to look after them" and "I will do everything in my power to make sure we succeed".... Remembering those words, Lance slams his hands into the ground and several Magic beasts begin to pile up on him.

Jessica Jade: Lance is in danger! We have to help him!

Adam Bright: I'd love to but, I'm not in a position to help anyone at the moment. (Adam says as he struggles to hold off a Beast bear with a cracked force field)

Jake Mercury: (Hits the Beast bear with an eye blast) Come on! Go down you stupid bear!(Jake yells as he fires a concentrated beam of energy at the bear, but it's too tough to be hurt by such an attack)

Jessica tries to freeze the Beast bear, but it's reach far surpasses hers and he can't get close enough to touch it without being decapitated by it's claws, plus more Magic beasts continue to gather.

Jessica Jade: This might be the end, It was an honor to work with you guys. (Jessica says as she continues fighting)

Adam Bright: Same here. (Adam adds)

Jake Mercury: Don't give up yet! Our Dark hero still has fight left in him, he'll surely save us! (Jake yells, defying the thought of dying here)

Dark Lance: Darkest Cloud! (Dark Lance's voice bellowed as a massive Dark Cloud erupts from where he was piled up on, the Cloud quickly engulfs the entire forest covering it in absolute darkness)

Adam Bright: What's going on! I can't see anymore! (Adam yells in panic)

Jessica Jade: Neither can I, What is this?! (Jessica asks in confusion)

Jake Mercury: Guys! Follow the sound of my voice! We can find each other that way! (Jake says to his comrades who he can no longer see because of the unnatural darkness)

Unknowingly to Jake however, the Magic beast bear was behind him, it pin points his location using it's sense of smell and was raising it's massive paw to smite him.

Suddenly blood pours down on Jake's back, for the Beast bear had been impaled by a Dark Spike. The spikes continue to erupt from the ground and impales every Magic beast in the forest, once the beats were all dead, the Cloud clears and reveals a grisly massacre to the Warriors. Lance has reverted back to normal and sat on a pile of beast corpses, seemingly lost in thought.

Jessica Jade: Wait, don't approach him. (Jessica warns as Jake walked towards Lance)

Jake Mercury: Lance, Are you okay? (Jake asks as he shakes Lance, snapping him back to reality)

Lance Grey: What?! Oh sorry, I've never used that much magic before, it made me lose myself a bit... Are you all alright?

Jake Mercury: That was awesome! You really are the Dark Mage! (Jake says happily)

Lance Grey: Dark Mage?

Adam Bright: It's the name you earned after you fought Blast, It's an honor to meet you in the flesh!

Lance Grey: Thank you, I guess.

Jessica Jade: I didn't know you were such a powerful Noble.

Lance Grey: I'm not a Noble, I'm a Commoner like you.

Jake Mercury: A Commoner?! And you're packing that kind of power?! (Jake yells in surprise)

Adam Bright: This doesn't make any sense, you're supposed to be a powerful Noble, who grew tired of the discrimination against Commoners and rose up to fight for the Justice of the Common man, just like this poster says you are. (Adam says as he shows Lance a poster of what people thinks he looks like, which is a roguishly charming man that looks nothing like the real Lance)

Lance Grey: I'm nowhere near that good looking!

Jessica Jade: True, but you're not half bad. (Jessica says with a flirtatious smile)

Lance Grey: (Flustered) Thank you for the compliment. (Lance says nervously)

Jake Mercury: Well you may not be a devilishly handsome Warrior Mage, but you still have my support, Mr Dark Mage. (Jake says respectfully)

Lance Grey: Please don't call me that, we're all probably the same age.

Jake Mercury: Okay! Understood Boss!

Lance Grey: Please don't call me boss either.

Jessica Jade: So boss, Where to next? (Jessica asks with a smile)

Lance Grey: (Sighs) When I used my Magic I could sense that something dangerous was up ahead, In what seems to be a cave. (Lance says as he points at the direction of the cave)

Adam Bright:What are we waiting for then? Let's head over there.

Lance Grey: Wait a second, Are you sure you want to go? It could be extremely dangerous. (Lance warns)

Jake Mercury: Danger doesn't scare me! (Jake boasts)

Adam Bright: Nor I! (Adam adds)

Jessica Jade: I'm not scared as well. Besides we have you to protect us if things get dicey, what more could a girl ask for.

Lance Grey: (Chuckles) Since you all insist. Let's finish this mission! (Lance says excitedly as they venture forward)

Meanwhile in the Cave

Leon Kronos: Finally, you're mine again. (Kronos says with a sinister smile as he now holds the Rebirth Stone)
