CHAPTER 5 THE SPLENDID NIGHT CONTINUES

Bless almost spilled up their readily made popcorn when he screamed and jumped and as soon as he saw it was that movie that u e even didn't feel ashamed when the chicks looked at him. 

"Bra!  Damn!  Where did you get this amazing movie?  Damn! I lost it"!?  He asked. 

"To all that don't know this movie... "It's a movie written by Steve Bob Fisher and directed by David Dobkin... Ahmm it's called "The wedding crashers"!  Nic told them, ``So be ready because we're about to go mad "!  He laughed. 

"Tell them bro! Scream it to them"!  Blessing screamed with food on his mouth. 

"Can you just shut up!  Shut up!  Some of we're sharing beds with baboons or gorillas or whatsoever so geez bra We need to clear up our heads! Give some of us a break"! 

Nicole said whilst she rolled her eyes and folded her arms like a spoilt brat. All eyes were laying on each other, wondering what's up? Then there was that silent moment. 

 She sighed heavily and went on... "Why the hell are we even watching fucking 2005 movie when its 2019!!!  Its fucking 2019! Jesus"?

They looked at her again and they wanted to laugh but that wasn't the right time.. She stood up, went to the fridge, got a red bull, put ice cubes and threw herself in between where she was seated. Then there was that silence. 

They enjoyed the movie so much that everything went back to where it was last night, a couple by couple, Teddy with Dave, which pissed Nic even more, Anaisha with Blessing, Yazaan with Nicole, and Paul with one of the chicks from UWC, but Nic ended up grabbing of the girls he was with last night.

Teddy and Dave finally got a room, I can say they all did, it was that kind of a session you know, the way they were doing things... It's like they felt "it's do or die - now or never!  

Nicole just wanted to fuck only, he really like Teddy but she seemed to be glued to that fool!  That was his thought actually, but who cares, she doesn't know this girl, he'll probably never see her again so what?  He thought out loud. They all had fun. 

"So guys!  I'll be sending an uber door to door to deliver my sheets to be washed okay "?  Nic yelled. 😂😂They all laughed. 

"So guys!  I guess this is it!  Thank you so much for your support, I really enjoyed meeting you guys and getting to know your wild sides!  Well... I actually thought some of you were introverts but no! 😂 I wish we could be wild like this and have fun!  It wouldn't hurt doing it once in a while though right?  Please, we can go out together just like this and turn the whole town upside down"!  She said in her speech. 

One of the guys behind shouted "We'll have to get our folks drunk before we do that"!  They all laughed at his joke. 😂

They had glasses of ciders just as a "goodbye chess drink" and they were ready to leave!  Apparently they found a big Chevrolet express GMC outside. 

"Jesus!  Who's that for"?  Nic asked. 

"Well... It's mine!  I came with it" Brian told them, he was schooling at UWC too. 

"Your dad gave you"?.  Nice asked. 

"What!?  No bra!  I stole it man!  No i actually didn't steal it, thats a huge word because i'm not a thief i borrowed it without their permission... Yes that's it, anyone who wants a ride is welcome guys,let's pop in! 

"Bra what the fuck!  How can you steal when you are going or in your educational school trip? You are on your education trip right now!!!  What if your parents realize this shit is gone?  What then? 

Bra! You'll fuck us off I'm telling you, we'll all be in shit because of your stupid fucking mind... Or maybe I'm losing it...am I making sense or I'm just making a mountain out of a molehill "? 

Teddy replied.. "No you are not Nic... This could get all of us in trouble and we could get arrested. You know, we stole one of the school's property  and lied, imagine!  You better pray you are not a big shit dude". 

"Chill!  Just chill bras!!!  No need to be all serious... If not in trouble and will not be, let me get going, who wants a ride can just pop in". 

He came close to each, one by one, he hugged all of them and they took goodbye selfies and that's how sweet it was. Everybody had a great time, it was sweet, Teddy couldn't believe it was the end, and that everyone was there, It was 16:30 already. 

"Nic... Are you sure the house is as perfect as we found it? We can help you just for an hour or so since I stayed around, right Dave"?

She looked at him straight in his eyes and he replied, "yeah sure babe, not a problem ".  He whispered in her ear "but an hour would be great with you, you know, I think I'm getting addicted I don't know ".  They both laughed. 

Teddy's parents were doing great without her, they had a great time together such that they would be coming back home very late, they would go out for drinks in bars, got a bit drunk and came back home late and slept.

They hadn't had a great time in a while, they wouldn't allow their kid to see or suspect them in that, they wanted to raise her in the right way, and they knew Teddy never liked "consistent check up", she hated it when they treated her like a 10 year old so she always said. 

It was only Nicole, Dave and Teddy left in the house, they were sitting at the balcony, having a chilled smoke, with the cool breeze that was there, it was high. Nicole went to get his hubby bubbly from his room so they could smoke it together. 

"Ahhh man!!!  You wanna kill us now I can see" Dave said. 

"Babe... You smoke this"? He asked her. 

"I didn't know this thing till this devil made me try it last night "?  Teddy replied 

"Oww!!  So I'm the devil right now?  I'm a devil? With or without horns"?  He laughed, they all were. 

"Mhhhh...  Some things aren't supposed to be asked you know, they are just obvious... With horns of course"😂😂 she said. 

"Ha!  Okay cool!  It's cool, okay!  Keep it like that... It's fine"!  They both laughed. 

There was this short - period of silence, till Dave broke it down.

"I didn't know you guys had a smoke last night ".

He looked at Teddy without a smile, without anger, worry and without any reaction which kinda terrified her because she didn't know where that was actually coming from. 

"Yeah we did... Why are you asking?  Is it an issue"?  She asked him. 

"When did you "?

"Geez dude!  Just chill... Last night of course, we hadn't planned it. I just found him with a blunt and we chilled...  Is it a problem "? 🙄

"Nah!  I was just wondering... It's okay let's carry on blowing the street with our smoke hey " he said, they all laughed. 

It was time they had to leave, Teddy had to leave, Dave had to drop her. They made their goodbyes with each other, took selfies with Dave, and with Nicole, they left like that.

They hugged and kissed inside the car, just before Teddy got through the gate. She had a wonderful time with him.

Dave did too, just that he couldn't understand why he didn't do what he would have done to the rest of the gender, he never fucked her like he would have with other girls, he thought maybe he had lost his touch or something, he still didn't have an answer to that. 

Teddy was home, tired and all,she did her greetings to everyone and asked to be excused so she could go and sleep.

She didn't really want to sleep, she was just high, still had the hangover, just as she threw herself in bed, Anaisha called her, she didn't want to pick up but she did. 

"Bra!!!  I'm fucked up"!!!  Isha asked ! That's the way you greet now"? Teddy asked

"Bastard!  You know how I am right "? Isha said They laughed. 

"Wait!!!  There's an incoming call" Teddy checked.

"Dammit Isha!  It's our bastard Nicole! 😂😂They laughed, Teddy made a group call and they talked. 

"You shit!!!  Where are you?  I hope you aren't with Dave "?  Nicole asked Teddy..

"No bastard!  I'm home, I'm high, I'm drunk, I'm sweaty, I can't see anything at all, I'm just on my own planet you know" Teddy answered. 

"I hope no one is pregnant"🤔 Isha said.

"Fuck you. Isha!  Fuck you!  How could you think of that when we can't even  recall the events "😂they talked a lot till late. 

Isha would have been late if she hadn't been woken up by Yazaan. He tried to wake her up but she was totally out of it. 

"Isha!  Isha!  Isha!  Wake up its past 6 already " he said. 

"Ohhh no!!!  You serious" ?  She took her phone and checked.. Damn!  It's 06:16 am ". 

Yazaan asked her... 

"How are you feeling?  Did you have enough sleep"?  😂😂he laughed at her.

"Mxm get out Yaaz!!!  Bra!  I'm totally fucked, I'll never drink whiskey again, ever"!!!  

"Aww sis!  Just get yourself together, because if my dad would suspect us, we are big shit, he will start telling us that Allah doesn't want such behavior and what not, agh! 

"Spare me!  You!  That's the last thing I want to hear, now get out!  I wanna go take a shower" she said. 

"Ha!  But I miss you, I'll wait for you here" He sat on her bed. 

"Yazaan please, I'll have to dress too... Just go okay. . we'll be together after school okay "? 

"Mxxm"!  He went out, he proceeded, but I don't wanna school today. I'm tired" he said. 

"Get out Yazaan!  check if we have energy drinks in the fridge " she said. He was out! 

As for Nicole... She got to school at 11:00 am, everyone laughed at her as soon as she opened the door, the teacher was even surprised why they laughed but she never minded it.

As soon as she looked at her friends, she found them laughing like they had so much to say, she laughed at herself too, her hair was a mess, not really a mess but anyone could see that she was exhausted. 😂

The class was kinda mature somehow, half of them were from the party and they were all exhausted. She and her friends only had time after school as usual. They were having a lovely chat when Nic's crew came along. 

"Ohh shit!  I think Nic's crew's coming here,whoo"!  Teddy breathed heavily. 

"So if they are, what's wrong?  Nicole asked 

Anaisha responded "Dammit Nicole!  I don't recall who I fucked with amongst them that night ".

"Just shut up!  You don't know who you fucked rolled her eyes.

 Nic greeted them whilst staring at Teddy. They responded to them, whilst they were preparing to sit down and get comfortable. 

Teddy had her arms crossed like 4 year old kid who was upset of something. 

"And"? Teddy asked....

"What? 🙄 Nic asked too

"Didn't your parents teach you it's rude to stare"?

"Oops!  Did I"?  He asked.....

"So i'm a psycho?  I'm imagining things now"?  

"Probably we were both starring, don't you think"? Nic asked her, she got pissed off and just rolled her eyes like that. 

Nic still had the feelings he couldn't even comprehend himself, and that was a huge concern for him because even if he were to ask her out, why would be the answer on her head.

They talked so much about the party that they ended up talking about every single detail and that made them laugh so hard that Blessing found himself rolling down.

 Blessing didn't even recall who he slept with between Nicole and Anaisha, and Isha wasn't sure if it was Nic or Blessing.

This whole thing was just a "sexual puzzle",  well that's if there is a term like that in existence but that's just what and how it was. 

They were having a great time till Jaden messed the whole thing by exposing who screwed who and how, i mean it's like he was drunk.

He knew Isha fucked with Blessing, Mark fucked with ex, Paul screwed with some chick he didn't know and Teddy fucked with Dave and Nic fucked around 3 girls he didn't even know. 😀

"Owww!!! so you are a cock's man now"? /Teddy asked Nic. 

"I think who i fuck isn't anybody's business but mine, its not like i'm tied with anybody" he said whilst having his drink. Guys!  It's time to head up".  

They all exchanged hugs, it was a weird scenario betweeN  Anaisha and Blessing, Nic and Teddy, they were all starred at.

Teddy felt so different when Nic hugged her, like her heart skipped a bit by bit, side to side and their hug was kind of intense, they left. 

"You know guys... I really want Teddy but i think i care so much about her that i don't want to hurt her, that's why i'm kinda delaying the whole thing.

 She knows i want her but on and on she gets me wrong... It's like she hates me, like she... I don't know, she just keeps on getting me wrong. She's my very first thought in the morning and the last when the sun unfolds". 

Mark shook his head on Nic's expression. 

"Bra!  Aren't you best friends with the guy she's seeing?  Ahhm!  Dave!  Yes Dave!  Aren't you? Don't look for trouble dude, please". 

He knew there would be Trouble but he had this mentality that what if one of them isn't really in it. But he never shared that thought because it would be useless.

He never even told them they did have a moment at the party and they almost had some huge, it's not like they weren't going to believe him but he just didn't want to be expressive and getting into detail for a "wine act". 

The three girls made a really huge status with the party, mostly because it went successful unlike 50% of the parties the parties that had been hosted before, whereby a bunch of mistakes would happen, and those kind of mistakes would reach the school department and trouble would just brew up and burst in a second. 

As expected... , seconds pace up, minutes move, hours fly, so that was it,boom!  it was a weekend, weird right? 😀. 

I don't know how it occurs but some months can move on  so fast and some months can be very very slow!  It becomes so strange you know but the truth of the matter is that as the time perception  points out, there are many things that impact time perception. 

If you get into a flow state where you are working very efficiently and your mind is consumed by the task, time seems to pass very quickly. If you are in a state of anticipation, waiting for or dreading of something happening, time will seem to pass more slowly.

This also occurs when you are bored and waiting for the end of the school or work day. The interesting thing is mindfulness. If you enter the flow state while very mindful, time seems to be so slow again. 

Teddy woke up and took a bath, she was exhausted, she had planned to be home the whole day and just stay in her room and focus on herself, till she found multiple missed calls and DM's on her phone. 

Missed calls were from Dave, some were from Nic, and one from Anaisha, same applies to the texts. She just threw herself on bed with a towel wrapped on her.

She knew they all wanted to meet up, she dialed Dave to find out what's up and he wanted them to go out, she said she would let him know soon plus her parents were home and never seemed to be going anywhere. 

She then called Anaisha and bingo! Same story, she didn't know who to choose but then she thought "what am i going to gain or lose anyways, i might just see them all. 

She knew meeting Dave meant being treated like a queen, and getting free food, not just free food but food she desired, and she felt like Spur ribs so she called him to confirm time,  he said he could be at her gate in a minute 😂, and with her friends, she's going to be herself and get to laugh till the very end.

Well... That was it till Nicole told Isha she must tell her if they will meet they will go out anywhere she wanted to. 😜

They knew she never said "no" to food, which girl does anyway? 😄.  Girls are too smart you know, way too smart just that men will never be able to figure out women, and they still can't, doesn't seem like they'll ever, and it's great don't you think?  

A girl would say "yes we can go out for a date" and she doesn't mean it, they just going out with guys because they want free food, not because they can't afford it but because it's free food and they'll order a whole bunch of a meal and even make some a takeaway 😂 , that's a girl for you.

 So now she had to half her time into two. She decided to start with seeing Dave, she wore her long striped red dress with black stilettos, and got her Saint laurent tuxedo box minaudiere black clutch bag, with her ray-ban shades.

Perfume was one of her favourites... The Delices De Cartier😋, worth E1500.00,french scent of course. 

She actually thought her parents were in their room when she decided it was time up for her to leave the house, yes!

They knew she was going out but with her friends, so the dress code and all wouldn't easily explain to them, no matter how she would have liked to convince them, they were just going to tell her "NO WAYS"! 

She just sighed heavily before she went out of the room, dammit! Suzzie was there in the kitchen with her arms folded by her chest, as soon as she saw her she was like "mhhhh...

Going out with friends with such a fancy dress and clutch! It must really be up to top notch  neh? Anyways your parents are in the lounge" she said. 

As soon as she finished that like she was right next to her, "Suz! Just shut up okay!  Please you don't have to raise your voice like that, I just want them to think I'm already gone and that's  what you're going to tell them right? And if you dare try something funny you might see yourself six feet under am I clear? just 🤐. 

"Nothing is for free in this world nana! 

She Carried on biting her apple whilst she pulled down her glasses. Teddy got irritated because it's like she wanted something now and she always hated that manner.

Teddy folded her arms and stared at Suzzie, she did the same too, Teddy was so angry at her, her phone beeped, she knew she had to go out, so she decided to break the tension for once and for all, she first exhaled with heavy breath. 

"What do you want from me"? Teddy asked. 

"Ahhm!  Let me think... KFC Hawaiin twister would be awesome for mg tonight when watching "our perfect Wedding ". She said .

She rolled her eyes... " yooh!  You 're such a pest!  Fine! Later! 

"Bye swiry"!  She said....

"Agh!  Why are you raising your voice?  What for? 

"Oww!  I'm so sorry but they didn't hear me so just relax " Suzie said as she left. 

Teddy had told Dave to park from a distance just to be safe. Honestly she knew  her parents would freak out if they would   see him, especially with the tattoos and all, he looked like those white gangsters, she knew that but she liked him like that. Dave was waiting outside leaning at the frontal side of the car... 

"Oh my God!  😲 wow!!!  You look like heaven, you are so beautiful, beyond beautiful, so sexy!  Mhhh!  No you not sexy... You look so damn beautiful. Wow!  Mhhh"!!! 

He gave her a very intense hug.

He opened the door for her, and she popped inside. He let her decide where she wanted to go and she chose Spur, she wanted the ribs actually, but Dave wanted to change her mind. 

"How's Royal Swazi Spa"?  He was looking at her directly. 

"Well... Ahhmm okay I've never been there so I guess we can try it out... How's their food? 

"Oh!  It's amazing,really amazing!  You will love it, I know".  He said. 

"But can we start at KFC? I'm craving some dunked wings babe" she said and they did. 

He wanted them to go together but she said "no"!  

"Okay... I'll go!  You want which pack? 4/8"?

"I want the 8 pack"

"Okay"!  He went. ...

Funny thing is she wasn't even hungry, she was just being herself... As soon as she got them..

She knew what she had to do such that Dave was craving them too from the way she had them, Teddy had the whole 6 wings and gave him 2, she didn't want to but she felt like she had to show humanity. 😂

They got there in a blink of an eye! Teddy was even surprised herself that they were there already. Dave came out to open the door for her, she felt so honored and highly respected.She had that nervousness that hits like "what's next... And she also couldn't stop thinking about the "what if's".

He was glazing through her eyes, he held her both hands so gently that she felt like the heavy  feeling wasn't there anymore, instead she felt so safe and more refreshed. 

They walked to the reception whilst holding hands together, it was so sweet, funny with aTeddy because she was so young but she behaved like an adult, like a 21 plus, she really tried pulling off with the standard of mature behavior. 

Dave liked Teddy, he really did but he wasn't still so much convinced that he loved her but he liked and cared about her so much in a way he couldn't explain.

"the tattoo palace, they are also on Instagram, based in Zulwini, try them".  He said. 

"Ahhm... You speak like you've gone there before, have you?  ``She asked. 

"No but I'm planning to go once I've decided if I can add a new one, I'm still on thoughts about it plus I trust that guy so yeah" he said. 

"Ohh okay I'll check them out" she said. 

They had to leave, it was evening already, it was around 16:00 pm, they left, he had to drop her. Apparently her friends were strolling on the road when she saw them, not far from her house of course, like 10 minutes away. That's when she asked him to drop her right there and he did. 

"A tattoo would look fire on you though " he said. 

"Oh my God!  Are you serious Dave"? 

"Yeah!  Of course!  Just think carefully about it, tell me once you have decided, and I'll take you there myself" he said. 

"Wait!  Like you can?  Oh my word babe I don't have to think once, twice, or thrice about it, I've always yearned for one or two here and there, I know you think of my parents but don't!  I'll sort them out, I just need this done! . 

He accepted that but he still wanted her to think carefully, he kissed her right there and said hi to her friends then he left. 

They screamed at her as soon as the car turned the last corner, she screamed back "guys!!  I'm getting a tattoo"!  They looked at her like they just saw a ghost.

Anaisha got closer to Teddy in the name of wanting to ask her if she really meant it. 

"Teddy! Can I get that on repeat... Are you getting a tattoo? How?  When''?  It's like she was getting emotional. 

"Oh no! Isha!  I'm so sorry, I know you guys want them too and the thing is Dave offered to pay the expenses, I can't miss that chance".  Teddy said. 

"Okay friend we understand but how are the expenses and where you going to do it because we all know this country is heaven on Earth "?  Nicole got irritated. 

"What do you mean friend? Like it's boring "? /Teddy asked. 

"Exactly!  There's no vibe, no money no nothing, " she responded. 

"I know right? Well there's a place Dave said I must gram it, it's in Zulwini, we might as well do it now... Hmm.. Let's see... Yes!  This is it!  Guys!  This is it!  "The tattoo palace ". Here's a contact, can we call to find out the prizes or another time "?  Teddy asked. 

Nicole responded with a shocked face, "what!? Teddy there's no other time, we don't have time!  We want it done as in like yesterday"! 

They all laughed. She called, got the prizes so at least now they had a budget. 

E800.00 isn't bad guys, it's a lot but it can be raised right?  But how"? Isha said. 

They all sat down on the grass by the road trying to figure it out. 

Nicole even wished she was dating the tattooist so she could do it for free in such a way that she started looking for his name and contact details from the profile, but unfortunately there were no contact details so she just left him a DM. 

" So Teddy... Are you not ready to lose yourself to Dave? I mean seems like he's serious "?

Anaisha asked. She was quiet for some time, busy with her nails and looked upon the sky, exhaled heavily and stood up, she had glasses on her face but they never noticed because she hid it. She turned around for like 3 times. 

"Guys! I'm not sure, a part of me wants to, he is an awesome guy, I'm happy with him but what if he loses interest interest in me as soon as we fuck? What if he's not single? What if he's not looking for something serious? I like him a lot, he respects me just that I also like someone else".

She bit her Lower lip and banged her forehead with her right hand. 

"Owww who's he? How come you never told us"? Anaisha asked her. 

"Well... Mainly because I'm not sure of what I'm feeling...I have feelings but I don't know what it is that I'm feeling, it could be that I like him because he's hot, or a crush, lust, infatuation or whatsoever, i just can't figure it out, we have kissed by the way, at the party so yeah, there's still that tension". She said. 

"Teddy, I favor you so much you know, you are a star, honestly speaking, losing a virginity is something else, you really have to be sure that you want to, wait till you feel like to, the day we will decide that we ready, we will have to have no regrets, no regrets and no "what if's" at all! " Nicole smiled at them. 

"You know what's funny? We bitches, bad bitches that I'm certain the school sees us as whores, and we behave like them, funny isn't it? 😂 if only they knew how much we respect ourselves "😂Teddy exclaimed. 

"Honestly speaking I feel like I am ready but I'm not certainly sure if I could lose Dave. To be honest with you guys, we have a thing with Nick, we had moments, unforgettable moments at the party, we clicked we.. Oh my word!  We highly  connected "

Teddy tried to explain herself whilst these two kept on humming like "mhhh!  Mhhh! But she couldn't stop expressing herself that she went on. 

We watched the stars and the moon together, and wow!  I can still feel that gentle breeze that soothered the moment, we saw  stars twinkling on a clear night, I felt exhilarated!

They seemed like fireflies floating in the air! It fills my heart with joy, brings a smile on my face & a sense of thrill to know that they all are as magnificent as our sun, but so far away, that they can be only seen as twinklers in the night!  Mhhh!  Amazing! Teddy was all smiles till Anaisha came in. 

"Well as for me, I get the sense that I'm floating through a vacuum under a tiny bubble of oxygen around a small rock in a small solar system within a smallish spiral galaxy twirling around the gravitational lynchpin of a supermassive black hole. I'm wary for the small size of this tiny bubble around this tiny rock, and feel a sense of fragility that, although unlikely at any given moment, it could all be snuffed out in an instant by a chance encounter with another, even tinier rocky object that just happens to cross our path at the same time and space where my little rock happens to be, and results in the complete destruction of humanity and the biosphere as it currently stands", she expressed!  

"Wow!  And you Nicole"? Anaisha asked... 

"Well.. When I look at the stars the feelings I have vary.

Sometimes it makes me feel connected to the world. No matter how far apart I am from someone we both always look at the same stars. Sometimes it feels supernatural. I believe deeply in astrology and obsess over it.

So, when I look at the stars, it feels as though I am looking at my own "higher-power" Sometimes looking at the stars brings out emotions that I have buried. Oftentimes, I get really emotional, and feel as though the world is against me... So yeah"! She smiled. 

Actually Nature is a powerful form of therapy and healing in and of itself, and it seems that we have forgotten the restorative power that it holds and always offers without asking for anything in return.

To align ourselves with nature and to become more true to what we are is a difficult task in modern life, which gives us every opportunity to ignore our inheritance of this most basic and wonderful resource.

A resource that not only heals us but at the same time comes at absolutely no cost and comes with an incredible abundance.

Bringing ourselves in touch with nature gives us a freedom that is missing these days, as we over rely on technology and business for entertainment and finances for food, self-preservation and further distraction from a part of ourselves that cries out to be acknowledged – the latent but ever-present wild aspect of our being.

In a sense, we've divorced ourselves from this all nourishing life giver for a superficial and cheaply entertaining yet still somewhat dissatisfying entanglement with city life.

Over worrying, stress, depression and malaise are of a scandalous proportion in this modern age that values making everything as comfortable as possible, rather than unearthing the call of the wild that runs inside, aching to be acknowledged, expressed and deeply integrated, while the city and its concrete, hard edged buildings have also concretized our inner need to commune with all that is unfabricated, unconstructed and always free.

I exhale with thrill as I publish this chapter because I know exactly what nature is capable of, nature is medicine baby! it's medicine!

I always say it's therapy! it allows you to let go, it allows you to find yourself, when it's something you wouldn't be able to do in any given atmosphere.

This thing is like writing, you can't just go to a bar, place your laptop and write , it's those still moments which arouse the spirit for you to, The silence, the breeze, the atmosphere, its thise facts that minutely inspire me to write!
